First time customer and I have to say that the sandwich I had here today was the best I’ve had in a while! The bread was literal perfection in flavor and texture. Everything was perfect! I’ll definitely be back soon!

A few friends and myself came in to check this place out and buy some bread. The bread and sweets are pretty good, however the 2 young girls working there could care less we even came in. They were nothing but rude and unhelpful.

My husband and I love fresh bread and were very sad when the bakery we frequented when out of business. So, I was very excited to find this place. We arrived around 9:30 a.m. to find empty shelves! What bakery has empty shelves at 9:30 in the morning? I thought, wow, this place must be so good they sold out. But, no. Their daily bread isn’t ready until after 1:00 p.m. We traveled 25 minutes to get to this place for their Rye bread only to find out their daily bread isn’t ready until after 1:00 p.m. Maybe they should put that on the website? Bought one of the few breads they did have, which was sourdough. Very bland. I gave them 2 stars because of the sweet woman behind the counter.

Let’s just say that this whole review could be summed up with a GIF of me drooling and stuffing my face, but I’ll go ahead and use my words! Someone I used to work with told me about this place and brought me one of their epic cinnamon rolls. I owe her for life(thanks Julie!), because this place is amazing. Their cinnamon rolls are indeed epic and come plain, with raisins, or with walnuts, and they are fresh and gooey and iced and the size of my head. Their granola is awesome if you’re like me and enjoy it chewy and full of nuts and seeds. Seriously, if left to my own devices, I can eat a whole bag in one sitting. I probably need an intervention. I haven’t tried anything else here yet, but I look forward to happily chewing my way through their fresh bread, cake slices, and deli sandwiches made with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses – my favorite. I could eat here every day if I lived in Gilbert, and it’s probably good that I don’t, because no one else would get any of their food.

it’s a bit of a drive for me, but we enjoy their soft on the inside, harder on the outside, yummy bread. they always have samples available and do offer sandwiches and really gooey chocolaty brownies!

Pretty good homemade bread products. We stopped by for lunch and had the chicken salad which was decent.

The fresh scent of baked bread filled the room so you will get hungry once you are in the building. This reminds me of the French Bakery in Europe and Asia where it was extremely alluring. We ordered two sandwich to go and some baked goods. The sandwich was decent but the fail came from discounted Bran muffins which was Chocolate chip infused which I believe they used too high of the grade of coca which made it extremely bitter. I couldn’t eat it and neither was my friend. That said, other stuff were decent.

My dept. went on a company outing and we needed to take lunch, so we tried this place and boy were we HAPPY! When I originally called to place the order I was buying 2 lbs of their chicken salad, loaves of bread and all the fixings! They called me back and said it would just be cheaper to charge me for X # of sandwiches and they would just package everything separate. Less than $ 40 to feed 7 people! The chicken salad is fantastic, we had the 9 grain bread and the honey wheat both were fantastic. Bread is baked fresh onsite daily, also tried a pumpkin/cranberry muffin and was not disappointed at all. They have many varieties of bread and they all look amazing. Will definitely go back.

Love the bran muffins and scones. Terrific when picked up in the am. Usually they are still warm at 7:00am and freshly baked every day. 1 day old items are usually ½ price if you want to save a little money

Great FRESH bread in many varieties. Their pastries aren’t as good as the bread is. We have a gluten-free person in our house & the spelt bread is the best we’ve found — even better than most we’ve made ourselves. Service is always good. Many people come here for lunch. I haven’t done that yet, but it always looks & smells great. Very grateful to have them here!

First visit here. We bought a few different items. I was very impressed with their spelt and 9-grain breads. Very good. One of the better bakeries I’ve discovered so far.

Many breads, so many varieties, all made right there and nutritious. Don’t be fooled though, they don’t just make loaves of bread, they make very good sandwiches as well on their delicious bread. I believe they use Boar Head products and it’s hard to go wrong with that.

This is a great hole in the wall shop off of Val Vista Rd. I’ve been getting the chicken salad sandwich since 2006 and it’s the same ever since GREAT! Cookies and bread are awesome as well…

I love this place, I recommend the chicken salad sandwich. If you are a health nut like myself you will appreciate the all natural bread. Chemical free, 100% whole grain, and organic.
