Kaitlyn is our waitress! How beautiful and amazing spirit she has! We started off with the Crab Nachos. Yummy! Sweet Kaitlyn suggested the Ragin Cajun on my bucket of shrimp! YUMMMY! Definitely needs to be shared by 2 people… I’m just saying. I tried. And failed. You know as i scroll down and see how some people have bad reviews and I can’t help to think that we should be thankful on how we get all this seafood readily available. I think everything tasted yummy! It was a great Mother’s Day Lunch! Thanks so much for Kaitlyn for her beautiful smile and the cute bibs you made us! Oh can’t forget the drink Shark bite! Yummy! Maybe could of been a little stronger but that’s ok.

Holy crab all-you-can-eat crab Wednesday nights for 29.99 food was great service was great and absolutely loved the garlic crab you get seriously all-you-can-eat crab you get it a pound and a half and then a half pound after that plus you get all the corn potatoes and hush puppies you can eat. Sidenote don’t eat all of the sides. Go while you can who knows how long this is going to last. We were there for over two hours eating crab absolutely the best.

The food was good but the place was so loud with music and strobe lights you can’t talk or really enjoy the meal. Waited 20+ minutes on Deseret, when finally we asked the waiter what was wrong he said some other server took it. Then it came out completely frozen in the middle it being the campfire snores dessert it obviously should be warm. Still had to pay 100% for everything and the place was a trash. Waste of $ 85

The service was good. The steam pot was over cooked, they cooked the shrimp for us twice and it was like rubber, same with the lobster. Not good food.

Didn’t know what to expect walking into this place, as we don’t have any chain seafood places in Hawaii. Overall, a good dining experience. The three of us were seated as soon as we walked through the door– we made it just before the dinner rush. We were seated near the door right under a ceiling fan so I was a bit cold the entire time(but I’m always cold here since I’m used to 24⁄7 warm weather lol) Our waitress, Sam/Samantha, greeted us with a smile and took our drink order. We got our drinks very quickly. We needed a moment to figure out what we wanted and she checked in on us in a bit. Overall I really appreciated her attention to us and refilled our drinks without needing to ask. My girlfriend got the rib 12 oz rib eye, her mom got the fish and chips, and I got the Cajun steam pot. The rib eye was cooked well and was delicious. The fish was good but not really seasoned(I don’t know if it was supposed to be) and the tartar sauce tastes a little unusual. The Cajun steam pot, although a little smaller than anticipated, was extremely delicious and I felt that it had just the right amount of spices and saltiness. I got it with fries and hush puppies but I think the next time I will get corn and potatoes. The fries were good but I didn’t care about the hush puppies– They were dry. The restaurant itself is nice and casual; the wait staff stopped for a moment to do the cha-cha slide but none of them seemed like they wanted to dance at all. Very unenthusiastic faces and half-hearted dancing. If you aren’t going to be happy and dance, why dance at all? Either way, I thought it was amusing that out of all the stand dancing, there were probably only one or two of them that were pumped up. I don’t care for the way the seats are arranged; I had staff and people bumping into my chair the entire time I was there. Food was good overall and Sam was friendly too. Would come back here again if the food was this good again and wait staff was nice too.

Hair in my sisters oysters. Hair in my cousins crabs. Management made up for it by not charging us for the plates but we definitely lost our appetites. Not coming back here ever.

My family had our Christmas dinner here lol. The service was great and when someone complained they didn’t like something the manager came out and apologized and offered to get us something else. The people were very nice and the food was okay, I’ll probably go back.

I would love to give this place a better rating because my waitress Jessica was AWESOME, but my steampot was not well seasoned whatsoever so while the service was great, I didn’t really enjoy my food.

The best part of that meal was the wet nap! Service was great and friendly. If ya want a beer and the ball game cool place. If you want seafood go to the beach.

No substitutions is not good for a restaurant with only 2 ½ stars. The food was surprisingly very good. I was very please with everything except the initial no substitutions. We are seafood snobs and went their because our son in-law chose it. It was fun and the food was good.

I went in by myself so I headed straight to the bar and ordered a beer. I spent awhile looking over the menu. Food was pretty good but priced a little high for the amount you get in my opinion. The bartenders were nice and having a great time. The thing that was most irritating was the men at the bar. They kept yelling about getting«turned up on a Tuesday» because I guess the wells were $ 2. These men were loud and obnoxiously yelling about bitches and hoes and frankly making it hard for me to relax. These guys had had so much to drink they went out to their car to scrounge up 8 quarters to drink another. They were over served and the bartenders saw I was tense over it but just shrugged, rolled their eyes, and laughed it off.

Food was great… beer was good… and the waitress was lazy! The fish and chips were very good! The Long Island Ice tea was okay, but the waitress was never around unfortunately. Overall the experience was good and I will probably go back!

Lately since I’ve been going the potatoes are not done and they barely give you potatoes. I don’t know if they have a shortage or what but usually I have at least 3 small potatoes in my stem pot. I only received one that was mashed up and a half of a potato. I always order the Joe’s classic stem pot. I have a gift card left and this will be my last time ordering from this place. Birthday lunch was ruined.

Wow. Took my dad there Tuesday. First off, our waitress Amber came up to our table with a huge hickey on her neck. Trashy. She couldn’t tell me the specials for Tuesday nor the sides for entrees, and when I asked, she told me «It’s on the menu.» The Malibu shrimp was flavorless. The best part of the whole meal was the Hurricanes, so good job bartender. I will not be coming back to this particular Joe’s Crab Shack. Worst service in a waitress I’ve ever experienced.

I went there tonight and the hostesses are rude. They had such a horrible attitude. There were plenty of tables available yet a 30 minute wait. I had to ask for silverware several times, my order was messed up, the appetizers came at the same time as my food, and my drink at empty for waaay too long. The waiter was friendly but still charged me for my appetizers even though I had a coupon. I’m just so disappointed because I used to live this place.

I went there specifically for the oysters only to find out that they had ‘run out’ so I had to order something different. The Rice Pilaf that came with my order was dry, rubbery and hard in most areas so I asked the hostess if I could do something different to the rice which at first she stated NO, but after getting the manager he agreed to add the same sauce on some fresh rice as was on my fish stating that the food was probably under the lamp that keeps the food warm(too long) waiting until it comes out, and that’s why the rice was rubbery. BUT… even that second plate of rice was the same. This trip ruined it for me, I’m not going back there for a while.

There were about 5 people in there whose job function never became obvious but they sure were distracting. They pretty much stood at the front and fought. They smiled like it was play fighting but some of the facial expressions behind each others backs didn’t look like they were playing. They looked like they really wanted to take it to the parking lot — which they should have! They were pushing and halfway wrestling the entire time I was there! I liked the dancing the waiters did! I kept asking my date if it was normal and he wasn’t answering. After the 3rd time, I realized it was. The food was okay. I ordered stuffed shrimp. I expected something like Razoos stuffed shrimp — PACKED with flavor and topped with a creamy sauce. The flavors were pretty bland and there weren’t that many shrimp. What happened to «lots of it» as indicated on the menu? Then there was some weird tasting dirty rice that actually tasted like dirt as opposed to tasting like heavily seasoned Cajun goodness. I also had the seasonal vegetables — carrots and beans. I didn’t taste any seasoning on those. Maybe I ordered from an Atkins Diet menu and didn’t know! The seasoned potatoes that come with the pot of crab and corn were good and tasted just like my mom made them. The crab dip was okay. I really liked the ceviche type dish I was served. I don’t remember the name. It came in a small glass container with cilantro, shrimp, and some other stuff. That’s the only thing that made me scrape the bottom of the container in which it came. The clam strips had a tasty breading but I didn’t taste anything special about the meat. We agreed, they were just chewy.
