Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen

Went for dinner after a long day at work and they were closed after clearly is says on Unilocal closed in 45 minutes. SMH. Change the posting then, cause no where does it say closed at 10.

Never ever ever go to this location of cheddars! I went on a Sunday at 2 it wasn’t too bad of a wait but it took our waitress forever to come to us. When she finally did she brought out food out before our appetizer. It took them 1:30 min to bring out our appetizer. After that our food was COLD. as if that wasn’t bad enough we witnessed a waitress drop a trey filled with food and drinks, the drinks spilled all over a lady sitting down and glass went flying everywhere. The victim was very nice about it. She said its ok and even helped clean after she was completely wet. When my boyfriend asked the manager if the lady would get her meal free he said no she got a free appetizer and was fine with it. My friend said it would be nice to give her the meal for free she got all wet and glass fell all over her. The manager said do not worry about it she was fine and he even had an attitude about it. I really hope this place looses business that is NO WAY to treat your costumers. We offered to pay for the lady but she had already paid. I really hope this location gets lessons on how to treat people. I will also be calling corporate.

Been here to long waiting on a drink finally had to go to the bar and order it, after 8 empty spaces service is not good at all

I love Cheedars. Inexpensive great food and drinks.
As an appetizer I normally get the cheese bites or the queso with meat and salsa. Those are my recommended.
The honey bun croissants are also good as a starter or dessert.
My go to plate is the chicken tender platter with broccoli and cheese casserole. This time I opted for the Mac and cheese, which was superb and loaded mashed potatoes. Just can’t go wrong.
The buffalo chicken wraps were really good too.
For drinks I get a margarita swirled or my favorite, Passion punch.
Just please go here, you can’t go wrong. I would like to say that Sunday’s after church this place is IMPOSSIBLE to get into and even on a «slow» night you might have some trouble getting in but that never stops me lol

Good food, good service. This was my first time at a Cheddar’s restaurant and I went in with low expectations as I always do whenever going to a chain restaurant.
We entered at about 7:30pm in the middle of dinner rush and we’re seated promptly. Our waitress, Nicole, greeted us and took our drinks and appetizers orders within a few minutes. She returned promptly with our drinks and within 5 – 10 minutes we received our chips and dip. The queso and the spinach dip were both good and the chips were warm and crispy.
With our orders taken, we enjoyed our appetizers but the entrees did take a little while longer to get to our table. My ribeye steak was slightly overdone (ordered medium-​rare, steak was medium-​well); my girlfriend’s sirloin steak was cooked and seasoned well. My girlfriend’s mother’s chicken fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside– cooked to perfection. All our sides were fantastic and cooked and seasoned well.
Nicole checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks quickly; there wasn’t ever a time where we had to flag her down for something and I really appreciated that. Her offer for horseradish/​sour cream for my steak was appreciated as well. She was very nice and friendly.
Overall, I was very pleased and had a fantastic dining experience. I wish we had Cheddar’s in Hawaii!

First off every single time I go to this place there’s always a hair in my food. They seem to make it there’s life goal to get my order wrong, and today it was as if we had no waiter. She never came by to check on us. Until we had to ask another waitress our order. If you are a short-​fused person I’d recommend not going here. Sorry.

I want to preview this review by mentioning that I probably come here at least once a week for lunch. But, it seems that today they are not ready for lunch service at 11am. I had to be seated twice, and both times I was ignored. There were servers everywhere, walking around aimlessly, and I caught the eye of several of them, and they walked on by, not acknowledging my existence.
I think I found a manager with some kind of earpiece, I think, and she seemed lost and confused.
Needless to say, I walked out, and won’t be back for lunch. Wasted 15 minutes of my work lunch. Had to go to Wendy’s across the street.
Really upset right now. I was looking forward to the chicken strips.

ok so ordered the burger the waiver didn’t ask me if it was medium well done anything i came to my table and it was raw really fully pink blood coming out of my sandwich i told the manager he said he’ll take it off my bill but wanted me to pay for my lemonade

Can’t give less than a star or else I would, food quality has really declined save your money don’t go here Grandy’s would be a better choice

They suck today. I was told my wait was 20 to 25 mins and I was here at least 35 to 40 before being seated. My friend gave her order and the heffa never asked me what I wanted. We ordered main course at least 30 mins if not more. The chick cones out with a spill to our table and the one next to us about them having a new system and it crashed. She says our food won’t be hot but WARM.

HORRIBLE SERVICE.
I work in the food and beverage industry and I can be very understanding to servers BUT DAMN THESE PEOPLE DONT NEED A JOB IF THEY DONT LIKE WORKING!
Coming into this place I see three employees sitting down right in front of the door and nobody at the host stand. NO SHAME. I just stared at the girls until one finally got up and asked how many. Then after being seated it took the server about 15 minutes until he finally took our drink orders. The employees were just walking around to the table directly in front of where I was seated & it seemed like everyone knew who the person sitting there was because they just kept coming and sitting down. Idk where there manager was to say something. Anyways as we ordered our drinks I also ordered a spinach dip appetizer which was quite good too bad it took about 20 minutes to get to our table. Our server was too busy talking and entertaining the table next to us he kept forgetting to check on us. Not only that but he didn’t even greet himself and he seemed rushed. Whenever our main course got to us we didn’t have any silverware so we asked for some and the table next to us didn’t either and I could hear them ask for some as well the funny thing is they got there food after us and asked after we did but we never got our set of silverware tho. But he did remember to get the other tables. We gad to ask a different employee and she was nice and quickly gave us what we needed. Oh and while all this waiting was going on there was other employees sitting in booths around us just eating. Very unprofessional if you tell me. The food was good but the service was HORRIBLE! Unfortunately I will never come here again. I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

The restaurant was really dirty especially the bar area. The food was ok and so was the waitress. If you are looking for a nice evening, choose another location.

Last night was the third time to eat at this location and I have never had any problems. The place was very busy for a Monday night, but we were seated within 5 mins. The waitress was Shainia (??) and she was very attentive. My wife and I rarely get dinner alone so we were just enjoying our time together, and did not notice how long it was taking on the food, but the waitress did and apologized and said the food was working. About 10 mins later the manager came by and stated the kitchen lost our ticket, but offered chips and queso with sincere apologies, which we accepted. The food came out shortly afterwards and was great, with everything made perfectly. The hiccup in the services was taken care of, and no harm no foul. We’d definitely go back again.

Came for dinner with friends I recommended this place. The wait was not to bad. The restaurant was hectic and no mod to be found. Waited for our table in the bar area and was told margarita machine was not working. So margaritas could not be ordered… I didnt know you needed a machine for rock margaritas? ?
Service here was horrific… server dont know her name rushed us into a drink order and dinner and app. We waited ten minutes for a glass of water. Another 20 for drinks. Throughout dinner all of our waters were empty and when almost finished the server finally comes back and drops the check off. I didnt order for the check. No desserts were offered??? No upsells to help her tip? Nothing to help the restaurant. When I asked for more water she said oh I was gonna bring it to go. Meanwhile our acholic drinks are full. I replied I need to finish our drinks first she rolled her eyes and walked away…
Wish I could give this place a zero star award… What happened to Cheddars???

This time the waitress AND the chefs don’t even know their own menu. Biggest cluster-​eff of an experience ever.

The food is great and so is the strawberry margaritas. I come here once a week and never have I seen the manager until tonight who only comes out because my sister in law ordered cheesecake and they were out of every flavor and only had one of the two she wanted, but he tells me because I used the word HELL, to not use that type of language in his restaurant well, I’m sorry but that word is in the bible so get over it. He tells me this is a family restaurant please don’t use that language in here this is a family restaurant. I said oh am I a child now, so does she get her dessert for free since yall out of everything she wants. He says no!
Needless to say she doesn’t get it for free and I probably won’t be coming here again for a long time. I only come for the cheap drinks anyway and a change of scenery. Guess some other restaurant will get my money.
By the way the servers are the greatest and would only come back for them. As far as that manager he can kiss my ASS!

Love love love this restaurant! Only complaint if any is the wait to get a table which is really a plus depending how you look at it lol. The Texas sweet tea, queso with beef, croissants, broccoli n cheese casserole, tenders and chocolate cake are some if my favorite things to order when I go there… not all in the same visit :). Just go, you won’t be disappointed. Oh and staff is excellent and cute too!

Cheddar’s is Cheddar’s. It’s a chain restaurant that is pretty much everywhere. I wasn’t planning on reviewing this place until I visited with one of my girlfriends this past week. I noticed that it is a VERY inexpensive, good quality restaurant.
Drinks: The drinks here are so cheap! I almost always order their grande Maui Margarita which is a little less than $ 5. I also love their grande Texas Margarita which is $ 3.74 and it is HUGE! The Passion Punch is also a favorite of mine and it’s about $ 4! You definitely get more bang for your buck at this restaurant which is why my girlfriend’s and I always come here when we want to just casually drink. They have the best drink menu with the best prices.
Food: The food is also great because this is a «scratch kitchen» meaning everything is handmade from scratch. I don’t have a certain dish that I love here because I’ve definitely had some hits and misses as far as the food goes. I’ve ordered their Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo in the past but it’s alway super dry. I’ve also had the Sweet Heat Chicken and Shrimp which was really good. And lastly I’ve had their hamburger which is definitely a basic burger. My boyfriend swears by their Monte Cristo though! That’s what he always orders so I would definitely recommend it. It’s very savory with a sweet kick.
Ambiance: The restaurant itself is very beautiful. The interior looks as though the food and drinks would be a lot more expensive than it actually is. The lights are usually dim which makes it very mellow, chill and slightly romantic if you’re on a date.
I recommend you give Cheddar’s a try!
