This place is very mediocre. It’s not to expensive but it’s a little more on the pricy side. It’s more Mexican food for white people than for Hispanics looking for authentic Mexican food

Honest and unbiased. Without a doubt the best Mexican food in the world. Always good food and service. I noticed all negative reviews are from folks from vegas and retirees, that says a lot. Been eating Mexican food for over 50 years and this is the best. Lots of folks expect a 5 star setting or don’t enjoy it cuz their kids didn’t or they didn’t cook a steak right. I am telling you though, for Mexican food you can’t beat it.

Amazing Mexican cuisine. I had tacos and an enchilada. The hard shell taco was phenomenal. It was so good I didn’t realize how quickly I ate everything. The service was fantastic and everything came out quickly. The peach and mango margaritas were made with fresh fruit and were fantastic. I also highly suggest the white con queso as an appetizer.

Good little spot for a sit down dinner in Mesquite. It’s consistently good Mexican food. The chips and salsa are great! I recommend the chicken chimichanga and pitcher of margaritas.

The food was very tasty. Their refried beans are vegan. I had the burrito. My father had taco and burrito. The portions are very large. The service was a little slow but we sat outside and I think they forgot about us.

It’s part of the reason I bought a house in Mesquite. It’s the bomb. Good food. Good service. Good prices. Highly recommend.

We have been going here for two years, it was good for awhile but it is going down hill, don’t order the steaks in this place they can’t cook steaks in this place a lot of fat. I have been coming here two years, really bad steaks and they have cut down on their combo plates also we don’t go there anymore. They are getting to big for their britches.

A very pleasant experience! Staff was friendly and service was fast even though they were busy. It has a traditional and authentic feel to it and proved to be true when my order arrived. The chips and salsa were great, always a good barometer for me as to wether or not I’ll like the rest. I had the chile verde plate. There was plenty to eat and I appreciate there wasn’t much fat in mine. I’ll be back again and again. Buen provecho!!!

Good food and service at a fair price… But to be fair, my ‘significant other’ is of Mexican descent, so am accustomed to the best and most authentic

Just happened to stop by this place on the way home in Utah. The restaurant is not much to look at. Got the pork burrito and taco. Both were fairly good. The salsa is good. Service was excellent. The negative was the pork. It was quite dry, it needed some sauce. I *might* go back when passing this way again. One entrée and drink: $ 17.

Drove out here from Vegas… looking for another Mexican restaurant that had moved and found this place. The margaritas were bomb and the food was authentic! Delicious!

Usually I would give this place a 4 because the service is usually great and the food is always great. But tonight the service was not that good. After taking our order and serving us the waiter never came back to check on us to see how the food was and to see if anyone wanted refills on their drinks. It might because it was close to closing time and they were setting up for breakfast buffet but the service is generally always better than this. I got the 2 cheese enchiladas rancheros with all rice and the rice was a little dry and there was less red sauce than usual. But when reading this, remember this was just tonight. My family comes here a lot and overall food and service is really good.

My boyfriend and I are visiting Mesquite and trying out the variety of foods. Without eating at the casino nightly we ventured out at the recommendation of the casino concierge to Los Lupes. Being from San Diego we can both honestly say that this is excellent, authentic Mexican food. Great environment, great value, and great customer service.

An absolute must! The hubby had the pork tamale and chicken enchilada, he said delicious. I had the chile rellenos and beef taco. The hot salsa and habanero salsa are authentic and spicy. The most amazing part… sopapillas!!! My taste buds are dancing a happy dance!!! The service was outstanding as well. It was so good we had to come back again on our return trip home to Southern California. Hubby enjoyed the same as last time, I had the enchilada and beef taco, yes for breakfast. I didn’t realize they have a full salsa bar! The salsa is so delicious you want to drink it! Thanks again!!!

This place I found on Unilocal was very good authentic tasting food. My husband enjoyed his carne asada tacos. I had shredded beef enchilada and a carnitas taco combo platter. With a Cadillac margarita. My son had the chicken quesadilla. All good in our book. Will return definitely. The décor is old and dated but I think that’s what makes it feel warm. The service was great! The welcome upon arrival was GREAT! All were friendly. Actually the server was Rosy. I got her name mixed with another nice helpful person. But yes we enjoyed the food here.

Stopped in for a quick meal last night. We ordered burritos – carne asada and chile verde. They were on the small side for the price and came with meat and beans on the inside. the carne asada was quite good. The pork was good as well but the chili verde sauce was way too salty!

Worth a trip just slightly off the main Interstate 15. The salsa is full of flavor and is just the right spice without over doing it. Ordered the carne asada combo and fell in love! The flavor of the meet speaks for itself but comes with fresh guacamole, onion and cilantro. The squirt of lemon on top adds a good balance to the tacos. Husband enjoyed the chicken enchiladas and said the sauce was very good. The rice and beans that came with our meal were subpar and were not all that much to rave about.

Was not a big fan at all. Bland, Americanized mexican food, but the portions were decent. The food was ok. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It was edible, and filling and for being in mesquite, I was grateful to not be eating at a smoky casino or greasy fast food. Kids menu is a giant rip off. $ 7 for a cheese quesadilla? I can go to walmart down the road and make 20 of them for $ 5. Ok maybe that’s harsh but really those kids plates would be $ 4 anywhere else.

Our overall experience was just okay. Stopped for a margarita. Ordered the Cadillac with 1800. The busser took my order on the patio, which seemed to confuse the waitress, who was two steps behind him. Awkward. The drink arrived without the side shot of Grand Marnier. She brought it out promptly, though, with chips and salsa. Took a sip of the complete margarita, but I think the tequila was well. However, the Grand Marnier makes it special. Tried the chips, they needed salt. Were just okay. Salsa seemed canned or bottled. Nothing special. My friend and I were craving ceviche, didn’t notice it on the menu. We asked the waitress thinking maybe they would, have a special off-menu recipe they could whip up. She thought about it, and said she thought they could make ceviche, but I didn’t have good faith of the freshness of their shrimp, because I noticed the lack of freshness of the chips and salsa. Since ceviche isn’t cooked in the traditional sense, it HAS to be good quality shrimp. So, we skipped that and went for the guacamole. It was a good choice. Nothing insanely special, just a good guacamole. Could use a touch of salt and pepper there, too. I’ve had their menu items before and have had better experiences even with their chips and salsa in the past years. It was an average experience this trip. I will still go here for margarita’s while on vacation in Mesquite.
