Came in today for the first time. The place is very clean and the employees are very friendly. Ordered the 8 pc boneless Wings with fries with the sweet & sticky glaze. Not what I thought would be, it was awesome. Will definitely be coming back.

Ok, where do I start. This place is great. Food is amazing and they service is even better. A true family owned business and the owner will make sure you are happy… and he listens. Its very nice inside and you can tell they take pride in everything they do. Just give it a try and you will know what I am talking about and writing a review as well. I found this place while I was waiting for a meeting at the local community college from Unilocal and tried it… the rating were right.

OMG!!! I almost hope this place stays a secret so I can have it all to myself… almost! This is hands down the BEST wing restaurant in the DFW metro area in my opinion. Since I am a wing aficionado I feel very qualified to say any true wing lover will never leave Phat Wings disappointed or hungry! The side dishes are very unique as well and I have to go in early just to get a sample of the delicious, perfectly prepared collard greens and home style mac and cheese. They even have banana pudding that is OUT OF THIS WORLD! My only negative critique is that there is not a PHAT WINGS in every area of Dallas. I’d eat there every day. Love this place

Delicious, cooked perfecto, the skin on the wings had a lite crispy with a beautiful golden brown color. The inside was tender, juicy and full of flavor. For my side items, I got greens and bake beans they where on point. We enjoyed every wing and every spoon full. I experienced Great service, fair prices, cleanest and friendly peoples. Stop by here and was happily surprise. Wings were great and big. Their Mac & cheese with bacon was fantastic. Fries were crispy. Met the owner and he seemed friendly and made his customers feel at home. Nice guy and it’s evident that he takes pride in his business. Next time I’m just going to order the phat wings. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

I don’t give many 5* reviews but the best wings in Dallas (Mesquite) are right here! There’s a reason why this place is well reviewed because it’s 100% true. I always get the phat wing which is the whole wing. I always disliked those other chain places that separated the drummette from the flat and then charged you double.
I’m not keen on dipping sauces so I dont order those (I only need Tabasco and I’m happy). The owner talked me into the Lemon Pepper rub and he was right it’s really amazing. Also Creole is good if you like it spicy. But Lemon Pepper will be my go-​to. This time I also had the side Mac N Cheese w bacon. Not bad at all :).
Speaking of the owner he’s also a big part of the repeat bizness. I mean the chicken too, of course. But he and his wife are super friendly and sincere I just want this place to make it and I want them to do well!
Tips: the wings are made to order, be prepared to wait. It’s worth it. It’s hard to find even when you’ve been there before so make sure that GPS is on. The help/​service is much better now. It’s always been personable, but when they first opened it was just him and her and it was busy and the wait was looong. Another time, the help was teenagers (’nuff said). Now I see he has an older gentlemen, an adult, helping out on that fryer and I’m glad he has reliable people now.
Cons: I think the ordering process is more complicated than it should be but its a small ding. I know what to order it’s other peeps that can’t figure it out and hold up the line

Wow! Big wings. Great taste. Great prices. I tried the dry rub wings. I liked Lemon Pepper the best. Some days they have $.60 wings. Awesome owner is so nice!

OMGoodness! This place was over the top with flavor & friendliness!!!
My first time to try Phat Wings and definitely will not be the last. We usually have a routine of Friday night Wings. I guess I know where we will be having our Wings next time.
Can’t wait to try all the flavors. And WOW if I had known they make greens. Next time sure!!!

We have been here twice and really like all the flavors we have tried. They have brownies that are made everyday and they are so freaking good! The owners are very nice and down to earth.

This place is very very nice! The owners are amazing people that greet you as if you just came to their home! Very nice hospitality and warming environment!
The food is amazing! This will definitely be a frequent place to stop! The wings are done and juicy not dried and like rocks! You’ve got to come by and get the phat wing experience!

I visited this spot for the first time and these are by far the BEST wings that I have had here in the Dallas Area.
The owner and the staff are very down to earth, and the place is clean and neat.
The wings are dropped once you order so it’s best to stop by and grab a menu or put it on your phone. You can call the order in and that the best way because this place will get packed pretty quick.

They have the best wings in Mesquite, and great customer service, this is the go to place is you want bomb wings and service with a smile.

I moved from Oak Cliff where there is actual food and people care about food. I’ve had the wings at Ten Bells, The Local Oak, WingBucket, and Cheesesteak House. Folks, these are the best wings in the metroplex, and I state that with zero embellishment. The owner is a fantastic dude. I have had the sweet and spicy, «hotter» wings, and creole. Sweet and sticky was perfectly sweet and curiously sticky. It was more than I expected it to be.
THE CREOLE IS WHERE IT IS AT. I didn’t think I would like a dry rub on a wing, but the way they put that perfect crisp on the wing holds in the sodium into perfect spicy pieces with juuuust enough crunch.
I can’t say enough about the cleanliness, politeness, and superb food quality.
If you are going to Wingstop, Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings and you live in Mesquite then you are making an enormously bad decision when this place is within a 3 mile radius of all three of those places.
Mesquite! Not everything has to be a brand!

We were really looking forward to trying out this place since I saw all the great reviews. Unfortunately, my hubby and I were HIGHLY disappointed. The wings had no flavor, the ranch although refrigerated, it was cheap Dollar Store quality. The curly fries were bland and nothing out of the ordinary. We are so disappointed, We will never eat here again!

Wow… is all I could mumble to my husband about the food! We love to support our local small businesses and were pretty excited to try this place! Definitely would recommended and will be back again. and again! The owner is awesome and to get just a bit personal he’s a veteran and he had no idea my brother was and is a Marine Veteran. He was a delight! Now. back to the food! It’s golden. the wings were all light, airy, and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. We tried the Hot, BBQ, and Creole (bombdotcom). Our son had the boneless chicken wings and he loved them! Our appetizer was the loaded twister fries and they were delicious! We really enjoyed that sports was showing on the tv’s making it a great place to eat and watch some sports! Oh yes and don’t forget to try the cookies… awesome! We really like this place!

Wings are BIG, very good try the garlic Parmesan AMAZING… Give them a try you will not be disappointed…

the food was delicious!!! i had the 3 pc chicken tenders (garlic parmesan with real shredded parmesan cheese on top) with the curly fries. the chicken tenders were so juicy and plump (big)… never frozen!!! fries were really good too!!! the banana pudding… delicious!!! the only recommendation i have… is to go and get you some!!!
The owners (husband & wife) are so nice and friendly!!! The Restuarant is clean and nicely designed and decorated. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.

Phat Wings is one of my fav go-​to spots now! The food is great, and I don’t even care THAT much for wings! They have boneless and tenders though, which is right up my alley. The loaded twisters are ON POINT, the jalapeño ranch dip is awesome even by itself. The banana pudding is one of the best around. Current fav sauce is Ty’s Teriyaki, but I’m still working down the list.
Not only is it reasonable and good, hot, fresh, always on time… but the atmosphere is great. Nice, clean, friendly, and fun.
If you haven’t been yet, you better get in there.
