Tortas La Hechizera

Such a shame to come and find out this restaurant is cutting corners and quality. Example, removing several staple items such as beans, rice, and mole enchiladas. The additional two locations still remain the same, except for this being the only one that has lost all standards and expectations of customers. We will no longer bring our business to the once known well worth seeking restraunt since the new ownership.

If I could give this place 0 stars at all I would this place has been the worst food I have ever had I should have stuck to McDonalds at least for 10 bucks I would have got a whole meal and I know it would have been great I got the torta Cubana and it was so salty it was cold it was soggy and it came in a brown bag I got tacos de carnitas and they were salty and tasted like they were bad I also got tacos al pastor they were salty the tortilla was soggy no flavor whatsoever overall I got Two tortas and 4 tacos with one large horchata total was $ 27! Some Expensive ass nasty food never again, Save your money and go across the highway to Café Del Rio!!! The food is way better and exquisite and way cheaper. Tortas Hechizeras! For the first time my husband and I decided to go here since is by our new house, I got the torta cubana, 2 tacos al pastor, my husband got the doctores torta. Our tortas had no flavor, soggy, cold seems like we got left overs. The al pastor tacos had no flavor, salty, tortilla was soggy. Their horchata was nasty, now I am Hispanic I love Mexican food and this place definitely has been the worst Ive EVER been to, plus for just 2 tortas, 2 tacos we paid & $ 35 definately too much for the disgusting food we were served here. We go to Paisanos often and pay way less, food is always great, service the best, and lemonade the best there as well and we pay at the most $ 24. We tried La Hechizera because everyone talks about it but I regret going to this place NEVER Again!!!

Delicious! We decided to stop here instead of those franchised Mexican food restaurant! Great prices and just locally made!
My tacos were both flavorful. Comes with cilantro and onions on top with lime wedges as add on. On top of which, we got hot salsa and salsa verde to add on it for that extra punch I always need :-)
The tostada was crunch and had excellent flavor. The cream sauce made it melt in your mouth!!!
Glad we stopped here! Looks like a hole-​in-​the-​wall but don’t be afraid to venture from the norm!

Tinga tostada. Cesena quesadilla. Tacos de pastor. This is the best «taqueria» I have tried in this area since moving to Mesquite!

Giant portions, tasty flavors, and affordable prices make La Hechizera a reliable bet for a quick and delicious lunch (if you happen to be in Mesquite).
I was completely stuffed after eating the Cubano torta (Mexican sandwich) and two soft tacos (pastor and carne asada). The Cubano was unlike the Cuban sandwiches that I have eaten in New York City (roasted pork, swiss cheese, pickles); instead, it features chicken fried steak, ham, Mexican cheese (white and reminiscent of cream cheese), and. .. [wait for it]. .. sliced hot dogs. Yup. With ingredients like this, it’s no surprise that the Cubano torta was delicious. .. and that it led to a very slight stomachache (probably due to excessive greasiness). Healthy cuisine this is not.
The two tacos were also very good. Fairly standard authentic Mexican soft tacos; less greasy than the ones I usually get from taco trucks in California.
The full-​bodied hot sauce packed a strong punch and went well with both the tortas and the tacos.
Overall: tasty food, friendly service, and low prices. The quality of the ingredients is safely on par with the price (~5.95/specialty tortas, ~1.30/taco).
