Well we went to red lobster after seeing one of those lobster fest commercials. We arrive at 5 on a Friday night and there is one couple ahead of us seated in the waiting area. The extremely rude hostess takes my name and says it will be 20 – 25 minutes? I look in the dining area and I count 14 tables open! That’s only in the front dining area! Nonetheless I sit down and wait and it takes 5 minutes to seat us. As we go by another dining area room which is almost completely empty I am now pissed off about having to wait any time at all. The carpet is filthy the table is sticky and we haven’t even ordered and I’m ready to leave! The only good thing about the night was the waitress who was nice. Slow — but nice. We had the coconut shrimp which was good. Then the wife orders the lobster dream plate and I had the dueling lobsters. We can’t order any green veggies as sides because they are out of green beans and broccoli!!! It’s 5pm and they are out? Whatever I get the sweet potatoes and a baked potato as sides. I know carb city. My lobsters were so small it was embarrassing. The stuffing inside the lobsters was just awful to say the least. The lobster Mac and cheese was good and the sweet potato with bourbon sauce and nuts is just pure disgusting and they should be ashamed to serve this dish at all. The wife’s dish seemed a little better but once again the lobster was tiny and didn’t seem hot at all. The much anticipated cheddar biscuits were undercooked and tasted raw! Do you know how disappointing that is? You always think no matter how messed up your food is those cheddar biscuits will always be good. Not tonight! It was our 31st wedding anniversary and we won’t forget this meal anytime soon. The waitress asked me if everything was all right and I was honest and I said no. She said what was wrong and I said everything. I didn’t want anything else from this place. Once again lesson learned! I live in the seafood Capitol of the world and we went to red lobster for dinner! Stupid stupid stupid. Hope your visit is better than ours.

Horrible service at the bar, it is a holiday but the two drinks I ordered they either didn’t have an ingredient for or inexplicably couldn’t serve. The drinks we did order we have waited over 10 minutes for with repeated answers to our queries that the drinks are coming… we have decided to take the meals back to the hotel and hope the food is better than the service.

We came in with a party of 8. We waited forever for them to take our orders. They brought out appetizers and no utensils. We waited about 15mins for utensils and refills. Their excuse was they’re short handed cause they sent some servers home. My steak came out so tough and dry. note that I ordered it medium. It wasn’t close to being medium. My sister also ordered med but hers came out rare. I guess they don’t know how to cook steaks. The server said he would take care of it. So he took it away… So I’m thinking they were going to remake my steak. Nope. 10 mins later he asked me if I wanted another steak?! Never mind at that point when everyone else is done with their meals. They didn’t take off my meal. Guess that’s a last for me to come eat there again.

DON’T EVERSITATTHEBARHERE. At least not when the bartender who served me tonight is working. She disappeared for ten minutes at a time, my food took 40 minutes, even though the bar was dead. She never smiled one time, exuding and attitude of «why are you bothering me?» I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc, she poured me a Cab. Never offered me another drink, and when I asked for one(the sauvignon blanc) it took TENMINUTES. Bad attitude, worse service. I’m currently waiting for my check and she won’t even make eye contact with me.

Absolutely horrible. One of the waiters stole my brand new phone. We were the only people in the back room late at night before closing, the restrooms are in the front so no need for anyone to go to the back. I realized I left my phone on the table and when I went back in to grab it, it was gone. Nobody knew where it was. This of course is absolute BS. I know for a fact one of the staff stole it and what kind of person would do something like that??? I had all my holiday pictures on there that are now lost forever. The staff at this restaurant are a bunch of thief’s…don’t trust them.

WORST experience ever!!! was horrible took him forever to give us our checks&togo plates! Never really came by the table to check on us! mussels isn’t all that but cheaper than stuff mushrooms(I don’t get that but not complaining) some shells wasn’t even open! 3. the mushrooms was good, but the stuffing on top wasn’t all that! 4. fried calamari not good but all the batter was falling off! 5. fried catfish was so fisy, muddy, smelly and soft! Not crispy! The bake potato had sea salt all on the skin so it made it EXTRA salty! 6. the lobster scampi linguini was EXTRAEXTRAEXTRASALTY&watery! The ONLY good thing about that dish was the generous lobster amount! THEONLYTHINGSGREATABOUTTHEWHOLEMEALWAS… the free biscuit&Tea! That’s the ONLY reason why I give ONESTAR! NEVER will I return! HORRIBLE!!! Also mentioning, my bill was $ 74!!! Nothing was taking off my bill!

Food 4⁄5 Cleanliness 4⁄5 Service 2⁄5 First off, let me say that the service is especially slow. They only have maybe 1 – 2 servers in a section, so when your server comes by, please ask what you need before you have to wait 10 minutes for him or her to come back. The food is good and the biscuits are KILLER! As for cleanliness, there’s some trash on the floor and some tables you can see some crumbs still on it. The service is something very noticeable bad here, however. It’s pretty slow. But they are kind. The prices are fine and the food selections offer something for everyone to enjoy. I had an enjoyable time at red lobster here, but I just wished the service was a bit faster. Other than that, looking for lobster, crabs, or steaks? Then red lobster is definitely the place to go. If you lack patience to wait, don’t go here.

For starters, no one was there to greet guests when I arrived at about 1:30PM. I got passed over for seating by the young lady acting as a hostess who serviced an older gentleman standing behind me. Afterwards, I wasn’t greeted and simply asked«Are you waiting to be seated?». I answered yes and I was then seated in a cold corner booth. No complaints from me bc it’s a chain, she was young and I was using a gift card. The waiter walked up after a short time said«Hi», and stood at my table waiting instead of a) greeting me, or b) telling me about specials, etc. After ordering a drink I received hot biscuits(+) but didn’t get a straw(-). I requested one and didn’t receive it until after two other tables were attended to. I ordered two appetizers and the waiter told me, without humor, that I didn’t order enough food(maybe a fair assumption since I’m 6’3″/215lbs). It was as if there was a problem with my selection, which ended up not being very small at all. The food arrived hot without much of a delay, as expected as there were only about 10 patrons. The shrimp tempura was slightly undercooked and mostly batter. The lettuce wraps were tasty! The shrimp were a little mushy, but again, flavorful. My Coke was promptly refilled and my check was delivered as asked. I left two of the tempura shrimp and half of the lettuce wrap because the batter was unappetizing as the food cooled. Total $ 21.18 on the gift card and a $ 5 cash tip. The young man who was the waiter engaged me in conversation at the end of my meal and I also once young, worked in the food service-industry and had bad service days. So I can empathize. Which justified the 25% tip. Food 2.5÷5(.5 extra bc it’s a chain and expectations aren’t high) Service 3⁄5(the hostess needs work but the waiter cleaned up his customer service act) Next time I’m sticking with Lobster and Crab Claws at the bar tho. no complaints there…

Food and drinks were pretty good. Service was good for the most part. The only bad thing that I could think of being that it was 3pm on a Thursday and not that busy was the fact that one of the servers stood around in her filthy section and talk about me plans to go «turn the f**k up tonight». But whatever, wasn’t my server … & I don’t take things like that out on everyone.

Being hundreds of miles away from home, where we don’t have one of these, I was so happy to be back! First off, awesome service! Our waitress was on top of everything. Food, was amazing! The lunch portion I’d perfect, so big and filling! Drinks… amazing! Loved this place and we’ll meet again soon!

I don’t normally go to gimmicky/chain places but i had a gift card and figured I’d better use it. Service was very good. Which in my opinion can make sub par food better. The food was ok. The seafood did not taste like fresh seafood u would get in the quarter but it was not bad. Obviously the biscuits were great. Salads tasted very fresh and lobster was also very good. Again the food was ok. I could go get better seafood at a fraction of the price

Amazing! The biscuit is so delicious that we can’t stop eating. The food is pretty good. I don’t know why so many people said bad words about them, but our food was served quickly and in high quality. The service is also pretty good, higher than average. I’ll be here next time.

This was the worst experience with the food I’ve had at Red Lobster. It was so bad that I don’t think I even care to go to another. I ordered the shrimp with potatoes. When they brought my plate, it looked like someone had already eaten off of it — the food just looked like it was thrown on the plate. I decided to send that back and get pasta — yuck! That wasn’t any better! Good thing the server was nice or I would have given this review one star.

You know, for me to write a 4 star review for a chain restaurant should make a statement. I usually like to patronize local places and mom and pops. That said, my last two visits to Red Lobster were outstanding. I noticed many improvements with service and food presentation. I ordered the seafood bake which was loaded with lobster, shrimp and mussels in a white wine garlic broth over linguine. Very good and enough for two people to share. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the new spicy/sweet shrimp(cant remember the name) both were very good and would order again. Complimentary salad showed improvements with diced tomato and diced cucumbers, etc. Great blue cheese dressing. We were too full for dessert but there were a few things that caught my eye. The service was well paced which had been a consistent issue in the past. You would have apps, salad and entrees on the table all at one time. They seemed to have fixed that problem and paced all the courses perfectly and we were there for lunch both times. I cant leave a review without mentioning their buttery garlic and cheese biscuits. I left pleasantly satisfied on my last two visits so I thought it was time to tell my Unilocal community that Red Lobster seems to have stepped it up a notch!

Service was slow and lacking. They were out of dishes we attempted to order. The food was just down right horrible and tasted like boxed food. Not worth coming here with so many options around. I know I wouldn’t have, had I not had a gift card.

Okay, so I have heard many different reviews on this place. I finally dined here for the first time a few days ago. Let’s just say straight up the only thing good going for them when I went was their cheddar biscuits. We decided to try this place because of their four course seafood feast special. Started off with the new england clam chowder soup, which was pretty good. It was thick and creamy. Then for my entrée I had Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo. Overall the alfredo was pretty bland, no flavor at all. My friend ordered the Garlic-Herb Shrimp and Chicken. The chicken was as dry as can be. I’ve had better tasting seafood/pasta at other places around nola.

So I tried out red lobster while I was at the mall today. It was pretty decent. It was crowded, yet we didn’t have a wait at all. Our waiter was extremely nice and everything came out timely. I love the cheddar biscuits, its extremely addictive. The Lobster and shrimp pasta was pretty good. It was a pretty decent place for a chain seafood establishment in this area.
