HAYDEL’S IS THE BEST KING CAKE EVER!
And sometimes I am too lazy to drive all the way to Jefferson Highway to get my FAVORITE king cake (I work about 3 miles away from the original location.)
Today, the family and I were being lazy and decided that we needed to put a pep in our step and get a king cake! All of us were in our PJs and that is when I remembered we can go through the Haydel’s drive through IN METAIRIE without even having to get out of the car.
Even though the options are limited (Regular, Da Parish, Cream Cheese, Pecan Praline, Kringle cake) it is better than having to put shoes on.
We opted for the Pecan Praline.
