Absolutely the worst experience. Salespeople seem unwilling to acknowledge you. They show more happiness seeing you leave than the sale itself. We bought a $ 700.00 gas stove for our current kitchen renovation with the plans of purchasing all our appliances from this store. We are currently stuck with a brand new stove that is missing a front burner cap. The attitude from HHgregg staff was… not our problem. The attitude was akin to wanting to slap their mommas for breeding. We will not spend another dime in this store… ever!!!

In July 2013, we bought a Samsung 3 door refrigerator with drawer for about $ 2,000.00. There was a manufacturer’s defect in one of the electrical cords attached to the drawer, which was repaired here. In January 2014, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and freezing, so we called HH Gregg and were automatically connected to Samsung. Samsung did not dispatch a repairman, but instead said someone would get back to us. We waited all day as our food began to spoil, and called HH Gregg local number and asked for a store manager. He told us he would send an email to HH Gregg’s corporate office, and they would replace the refrigerator, which might take a week, and that another store employee, Beth, would call us back and set us up with a loaner refrigerator. When Beth did not call, we called her, and she said she had no such authority. I asked to speak to the manager again, and she connected me to Jeff, another person, who informed me that the store does not issue loaners and that there would not be a replacement refrigerator from HH Gregg. We called Samsung several times also, and they continued to say that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hours. At this point, we regret dealing with HH Gregg, and we regret buying a Samsung. I definitely do not recommend HH Gregg for any reason, and think people should avoid them entirely. As to Samsung, I am stuck with a lemon and will have to deal with their impossibly frustrating and slow customer service for the remainder of the time the refrigerator is under warranty. I have read several horror stories about Samsung, including 7 repairs in 4 years, at . In summation, HH Gregg sells shoddy merchandise. No refrigerator should break twice in the first 7 months of ownership. Furthermore, HH Gregg does not stand behind its merchandise. Even thought we did not buy an extended warranty, they should take the refrigerator back and give us our money back, so we can buy a working refrigerator.

Well, let’s start off with the prices. They are excellent and they carry the best products on the market. The sale representative was very helpful! But, they shouldn’t be paid base on commission. The place is slow most of the time, but they are able to work out an excellent deal. Best Buy had a similar TV at the lower price, but the Sales Representative was able to speak to his manager to match the price. It turned out to be a better deal, because the TV model at Best Buy had a slightly lower quality in screen resolution pixel rate, and it didn’t come with four 3D glasses. So I able to purchase the TV with a better resolution and with four 3D glasses which cost a few hundred dollars per glasses. I will purchase another product here in the near future.

I don’t think the prices are bad. They have some great deals on occasion. I bought a washer here and got it for about $ 90 cheaper than if I were to buy it at Lowe’s(which had the 2nd lowest price for the same model). Customer service was bad. Salesperson didn’t seem too interested in helping me find what I was looking for or to answer any questions that I may have had. The store has a good selection though of TVs, appliances, computers, etc. Not as diverse a selection as a Best Buy. Commission-based employees here which is not a good considering business is usually slow. I would only buy from HHGregg again because of the price.
