As always, love that Marble Slab ice cream. This shop is a bit dated, but we saw nothing dirty or «buggy».
The I ce cream was delicious and was a good sized portion. The server was a little out of it, but I don’t blame the shop for that
We had sweet cream with raspberries and a new flavor, caramel, with pecans.

I will probably never return to this location… although the ice cream at any Marble Slab is always delicious.
The facility here is very dated… it looks straight out of the early 90’s and isn’t as clean as it should be. We noticed several bugs around the store and floors that obviously had not been cleaned recently. There are too many better options in Metairie to merit a return to this ice cream parlor.
BOTTOM LINE: Good ice cream… a dated building that could stand to be cleaned and de-bugged.

Not sure what they make the ice cream out of here, but it tastes like ice milk. Couldn’t be cream. Not very good and rather pricey. Baskin Robbins is better than this.

I don’t eat ice cream much but I truly enjoy Marble Slab’s ice cream very much.
I am not sure how they make their ice creams but it is very delicious.
My favorite: Sweet Cream mixed with Heath bar candy and marshmallows … don’t say eeewwww until you try it !!!

I freaking love Marble Slab. For one reason.
CAKE BATTER
People say certain things are like an orgasm in their mouth. Well I’d have to say this is it for me.
It’s not in the I’ve got to go because it has to be loaded up with crap to taste good like another place I won’t mention. It’s in the simplicity of how good their sweet cream is before loading it down with tons of toppings/mix-ins.
I lived in Lexington, KY for six years and I literally cried when they closed.
