This is an absolute hidden gem! I’ve passed by this place for two years and just now made time to stop in tonight, and I’m very sad I haven’t stopped in sooner!!! As far as ambience goes, it can’t be beat– the regulars are nice people and want all who come in to have a good time… That’s great, but what about the drinks? Well, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, they’re phenomenal. A few standbys and a rotating group of concoctions based on seasonally fresh ingredients… Try something seasonal here, it’ll be worth it!!! My personal pick at the moment? The fig-​cinnamon Manhattan… I’ve had this Manhattans all over the world, and honestly, all over Manhattan itself, and this is really one of the best versions I’ve had– bold flavors, but in a familiar way that doesn’t betray the original… Simply perfect… Add on top of that the impeccable service from Katie and her staff, and you’re guaranteed a good night!!! 5 stars, well earned!!!

Avoid this bar especially when andrea is working. Very anti man vibe bad service overall a bummer. i like a place where you can drink and don’t feel like you’re almost scared to ask for another drink because the bartender andrea might have to actually move. I thought it was a straight bar but it’s not.

Really nice neighborhood bar. I’d give it 5 stars but it was smoky. Loved the watermelon drink. The service was fantastic. Very friendly workers and customers are down to the earth and friendly as well. There were a few 30 somethings and a few 50 somethings. Mostly young ppl though. Juke box was awesome and since we didn’t like the smoke, we sat outside and the outside speakers carried out the tunes to us. They also have pool tables and darts. This place has just about everything.

Friendly Nice barmaids (except andrea very rude) good place to have a cold beer I enjoy it very much. there is no food except domino’s pizza slices for a dollar. would be better with food.

Don’t sleep on this fantastic lounge. Craft cocktails, the best bartenders, fantastic ambiance… have a drink on your way home or end your night here. Heck! Stay the whole day. Bloody Mary’s with bacon, beer a flowin, and cocktails galore.

Went in the early afternoon for drinks and to play pool. It was exactly what we were looking for. The place was well kept and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices are excellent (crown on the rocks at 5/5.50) and the pours are generous. The pool table is in great condition, although it is a little bit of a squeeze if people are playing pinball or video poker; but, hey, its not a pool hall. They have a decent selection of music on the juke box and the sound/​volume was good. You can have a cigar, sit at table or in one of the comfortable «captain’s”-esk chairs at the bar. We enjoyed it and will be back. Great neighborhood bar (eventually populated by regulars and locals). Parking is a little tight but that’s beyond their control. A few chairs outside as well which are probably nice in non-​summer months.

This is my favorite bar in Metairie. Friendly patrons, amazing bartenders, delicious and innovative specialty cocktail, a great beer selection, and every Tuesday they have the most delicious Mexican food you will find in Metairie. If you haven’t been yet, you are missing out.

I’ve been searching for decades for my own Cheers. I’ve found it here!!! Atmosphere is so welcoming. The crowd is eclectic and fun. I’ve found each of the three bartenders we’ve met to be craftsmen of the cocktail and have every skill a fantastic barkeep should strive to have. My husband and I couldn’t believe how friendly each of the ladies are. The cocktails, oh the cocktails are Devine. Many are very unique, beautiful but reasonably priced. Bottom line, I love this place!

I have to say I have passed by this bar so many times without coming in… Last night my friend and I did and it was awesome! Victoria was behind the bar and made us feel overly welcome! It will be our new local spot! If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go!

Oh wow! This place is really great… I’ve been twice and both bartenders and those nights were great! Victoria could not be better if she tried and the new guy Kurt was just lovely. This is going to be my new hang out.

This is a super chill spot with a neighborhood-​y vibe. My bartender Katie was super friendly and made great specialty cocktails. I will be back.

THE PIZZA IS INSANE!!! Love this place. Nice local feel. Super laid back and cheap drinks. Love it!

The 1^st review is a absolute lie. Their friend works here, or owns the place. Very average bar. They put out cold to luke warm food daily. The hot dogs daily are not close to being done. And they have plastic spoons in the warmer plate, or whatever you call it daily, just melting slowly away. They have a shower curtain in the mens bathroom for a door. And the pool table has bad rails and its not close to leveled.

This is the closest I’ve ever come to wishing that I lived in Metairie. A friend and I came in because we’d won a gift certificate. I’d never been anywhere on Old Metairie Rd. for drinks, mostly because it’s quite a drive home for me. By all means, this was one of those times that a random gift card win brought me somewhere so, so surprisingly awesome.
Martine’s has a fun cocktail list (I had the Buffalo Stampede Cider) including a drink with ice cream and bacon! In fact, bacon comes in all kinds of drinks at Martine’s, including the fantastic, spicy bloody mary that I ordered. Just before we left some free hot dogs made an appearance. Happy hour runs from 11 – 7, including $ 4 mimosas and bloody mary’s. Great, relaxed atmosphere, everyone knew everyone happy to welcome a couple new comers. I felt like I lived around the corner by the time we left!
I also want to give a shout out to the bartender who was friendly and made a mean drink. If you find yourself in the area, Martine’s is a great spot to stop in!

I never write reviews but a great review just won’t do this place justice. It was just what we needed. The drinks are really creative and delicious and half what you would pay at other places. The bar has a great vibe and cool music. Our bartender Victoria was friendly and knowledgable and made us feel very at home in a new place.
We can’t wait to come back.

This place has changed owners recently — the fabulous team behind Pal’s Lounge bought it. Now it’s a way-​chillaxed place to grab a beer, watch the game, shoot some pool. Lots of good drink specials. Wi-​fi, too!
