McDonald’s

Came here for lunch today. The food was fast, hot, and exactly how I ordered it. The cashier (Earl) was courteous and friendly. Thanks for being a prime example of what a McDonald’s Restaurant should be.

This is a very clean McDonald’s with a friendly enough staff and fast enough service. The only reason for the average review is that their hours are really hit or miss. They close very early for a McDonald’s in the city, even on the weekends. They also tend to leave their lights on even when no one is manning the drive thru, leaving the customer sitting there waiting for a voice that will never come.
If they adjusted their hours to serve the late night crowd in Metairie, this would be one of the best McDonald’s in New Orleans easily.

I don’t think the owners of McDonald’s read or even care but for those of you that are interested here goes: I went through the drive thru this McDonald’s the other evening. I paid and drove to the next window to pick up my food. No one was there. I could see the employees standing in a huddle near the walk up counter. One female was scratching her head in different places. A male was rubbing his beard. Then another girl was rubbing her nose with the back of her hand. It’s as if no one ever told them to be mindful of the things they do. Or at least had a huge container of hand sanitizer sitting around and to be used frequently. I hate the fact that they don’t wear gloves while preparing food. It is obviously that they don’t take any pride in what they do so I’m sure cleanliness is not a priority. Wilted lettuce, burgers thrown together, large fry containers with barely any fries in them. Then in order to get napkins you have to ask for them. I try to avoid McDonald’s for a number of reasons, customer service is a main reason, but since it’s right around the corner it is sometimes convenient. But if you want quality food and service, steer clear of this place.

I wouldn’t even give this restaurant and one star. I have the misfortune of having to go to this McDonald’s on my way to work because it’s the closest. If I had a choice I would never go. Service is bad people are rude and somewhat mean, food sometimes doesn’t taste well. Had a spicy chicken before and several other times lettuce was wilted bread was stale meat tasted weird. Employees really do need to prove improve. The drive-​through is the worst ever to have to go through. Has stood in line for at least 15 minutes in front of the menu waiting for someone to come to the computer. I hate this McDonald’s with a passion.

Staff were efficient, though not friendly or happy.

Bathroom was horrible, The urnial was broken, The bathroom was filthy with grafitti on the walls. Makes you wonder what the back of the kitchen looks like.
