This is a pretty basic bar with circa 1970’s décor in the usual strip mall type building on Veterans in Metry. The beers were a bit more expensive than I would’ve expected for a dive joint like this on Veterans but I guess gentrification pricing is taking hold of the entire metro area. They have a good selection of televisions so they live up to their sports bar name and provide adequate options for viewing the game of your pleasure. I’ve never been here when much was going on but I could see how it could be a fun place with more folks around.

Out of Bounds is a small sports bar buried in a strip mall on Veterans. Typical set-up– bar, tables, chairs, multiple TVs. Since I moved here, it has been my bar of choice to watch out-of-town NFL games. The reason to come here is the bar staff is always willing to turn on the game you came to see. When the Saints are playing, many of the local sports bars will only show the Saints. Crowds when the Saints are not playing are unpredictable. Some Sundays, you will be the only person sitting at the bar. Other Sundays, there might be a dozen fans from all over the country. Good beer selection, reasonable pricing. Typical bar food, nothing exciting. Without being nasty, I’m not sure why this bar isn’t in the«Dive Bar» category. The décor is dated, the bathrooms are, charitably, vintage. However, they are better than Cooter Browns(which is not saying much).

I love Out of Bounds! Super fun place with the coolest staff and coolest customers. Ashleigh, Jay, Wiyanna, and Ryan are the best!!! Steak and potatoes for $ 12.50…OHYEAH :) The rest of the stuff that comes out the kitchen is damn good too. Try the One Eyed Ref(don’t ask what it is. You gotta go there to find out lol). $ 5 for doubles. $ 6 for premium wells. Games, booze, sports… all at Out of Bounds! HIGHLYRECOMMENDFORGOODTIMES!
