Steve Madden Retail

I have no idea why this store doesn’t have more reviews. I have always loved Steve Madden and I always find something whenever I stop in.
I was on the hunt for boots with a low heel when I decided to bring my search to Lakeside. Usually this store is a madhouse, but I was here on a weekday, so it wasn’t too bad. I found a pair of boots that was exactly what I was looking for: black with a low heel and comfortable. The only problem was they are thigh high boots. Because they were on sale, I decided to get them anyway and I am just going to bring them to a shoe repair shop and get the «thigh high» part cut down to «knee high» and I’ll be all set. I usually wouldn’t go to the trouble, but when $ 150 boots are marked down considerably, you cut your losses.
Aside from the woman checking people out, I didn’t see any other sales associate that could have helped me with my purchase, but I think I found the best thing that I could have within my price range.

The sale associates will only approach you if you look wealthy. I walked in there twice within the same day and not one of the associates talked to me. I saw an older man walked in and was immediately greeted and offered help. I wanted to purchase two pairs of dress shoes but changed my mind when I saw the lady walk pass me and ask the man that just walked in if he needed any help. Horrible

This Steve Madden store is conveniently located inside the mall in Metarie.
Yes, you can buy Steve Madden shoes elsewhere– like on the website and in some other stores. BUT, this location allows you to see the hottest new shoes and a TON of clearance shoes right before your eyes. Try on as many as you want. Walk around, make sure you are comfortable, and then decide.
The sales associates have never been anything but nice and helpful at this location. Love it!

As a man who loves the ladies, and does his best to supply them with the thigns that make ladies happy, you’ve gotta know about steve madden. If you don’t, well, shame on you.
