Came last year and got my eyebrows touched up with no issues. Figured I should be good this time around too. Wrong. I came in. No customers. Seen right away. They asked me what I wanted. I said I needed them«evened out».(Apparently, this was the wrong thing to say.) The girl took me in the back and almost immediately started waxing. This should’ve been a sign as the last girl highlighted the arch, brushed them out, etc. I figured she was that good and didn’t need any help. Things got shader when she pointed out something weird with my eyebrow hairs.(They grow weird on one side, but this was different.) It was like they got plucked or waxed wrong, and they didn’t look that way that morning. When I saw them, I was initially fine with them, but the room they put you in is dark and you’re propped up at an angle. When I finally got outside in the daylight I saw the damage. She’d waxed my arch off and almost the whole tail of one eyebrow. I’m actually pretty good at fixing salon fuckups. And at arching my own brows.(Strangers compliment me on my eyebrows all the time.) But I’m going to have to «grow them out/paint them in» for at least a month to fix them.

. When I first arrived I thought the place looked very nice. I asked to get my hair trimmed and to have long layers. Upon cutting my hair I noticed that she was cutting my hair very oddly. She began taking a strand of hair and the randomly chopping some of the ends off. I asked her how long ahe had been doing hair she said 10 years so I never questioned her method. She was done cutting and began to blow dry it, the walked in what I am assuming to be employees but they just arrived from the gym, the were gathering around the counter as if it were a hangout place. The woman doing my hair was having a converstaion with the employees who had arrived and the were talking about how they would leave the straighter and curling irons on all the time.(This didnt affect me in say but think that it should be known becuase it is a fire hazzard.) My hair is also very long and thick and so it gets very tangled easily. Whem she was brushing it out she had NO gentleness, she kept pulling my hair tryimg to brush it. I could tell she was getting aggravated and the she told me that after I get married next year i should cut my hair short. I found that to be jnsulting becuase she was just aggravated that my hair kept tangling. oh well that is what u get paid for!!! After she was done cutting my hair, I checked it and it looked fine but when I got home to further examine it. My hair is now all uneven and the sides of my hair is slanted(I am assumkng thoses where supposed to be the long layers I asked for). I will never go here! I was going to get my bridal hair and makeup done here but I will definitely look some place else!!!

This is my new Salon… Misty is my new stylist hands down. Had a groupon so decided to check it out. Everyone was so nice, the salon was stylish(loved the chandeliers). They offered me a glass of wine, wish was just what I needed after my week. Misty gave me the most amazing scalp and neck message while washing my hair. As she cut my hair she told me what she was doing and why, plus gave me free tips on how to take care of my hair. My hair looks great and I left there forgetting all of my worries. Will definitely be back!

I too had a Groupon for a blow out. I made an appointment for 3 with an event planned for that evening at 6 which I thought would be plenty of time. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and was told that it would be another 10 minutes. They offered me wine, champagne or water as well. The place was a bit too brightly lit with unflattering florescent lighting. I looked around me at all the girls getting the hair done, and for some reason they all had the same honey boo boo curls. I was a bit hesitant, but figured hey I got a pretty good deal, I can definitely pick a more flattering style. 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes. I wanted to ask the receptionist about my appointment prior to that, but there was never anyone at the desk. I think all the hairdressers take turns sitting at the front desk whenever they were not with a client. Finally I snagged a hairdresser that was charging a client and told her I had been waiting for 30 minutes. She informed me that she would notify her manager. During the interim, I noticed a few walk ins came in and waited a few minutes before being brought over to get the hair done. Yet for some reason I was still sitting in the waiting chair. Finally over 10 minutes later the manager comes over to inform me that the girl that was supposed to do my hair thought the appointment was at 5 pm. She said that she was just informed I had been waiting that long. I love how the original girl that told me that it would be only 10 minutes lied to my face and did not tell anyone I had been waiting. Completely unprofessional on all accounts. The manager gave me one of two extremely ridiculous options considering I told her I had an event at 6 to go to and after wasting nearly an hour waiting for an appointment. That I could wait for the hairdresser to come, which the wait would have been at least another 20 minutes, which would put my total wait time over an hour, or come back at 5. Did I not mention that I already told her I had an event to attend at 6? Needless to say I left steaming! I did receive a phone call about 30 minutes later from the hairdresser apologizing for the mixup on appointments. I appreciated her offer to do my hair for free at a later date, but honestly the whole experience soured me on the salon. I can understand her forgetting the appointment, but had the original girl told someone I was waiting they could’ve paired me up with another hairdresser, making me priority over walk ins, or called my hairdresser immediately to have her show up so I could’ve waited only 30 – 40 instead of expecting my to wait nearly an hour and half for my appointment. Instead she told me someone would be with me in ten minutes. There is obviously lack of communication on all accounts and I would not want anyone to waste another minute dealing with it. Needless to say after all the waiting and driving back and forth I had very little time to do my own hair and ended up showing up late for my event. Fortunately, Groupon was understanding and refunded me my money paid. Save your money and go to a reputable salon.

I decided to try this salon out bc there was a $ 17 Groupon for a blow out(normally $ 35) and I decided I deserved a little bit of pampering. The salon is brightly lit and clean. The stylists were professional and courteous. They use Bumble and Bumble products, bravo to that! And they offer wine, champagne, lemon water or coffee while you’re there. I might have seen some cookies as well. There wasn’t any head massage during the shampoo. My blow out was fine, I’ve had better and I’ve had worst. I blame myself for having envisioned this grandiose image of bouncy beach waves a la Blake Lively and when that wasn’t fully achieved, I was a smidge disappointed. Not the stylists fault, I just have long limp Asian hair. All the stylists took great time and care into each customers coiffure, one even trimmed a girls hair after it was straightened. Overall, a lovely experience and I would recommend it to others in need of some hair TLC.
