Went to location around the corner from Superior on St. Charles. WELOVED the place itself, it obviously used to be a house and was beautifully turned into a restaurant. Our server was scatterbrained but she was so sweet it didn’t matter. The food? Meh. We went at 9:30 on a Friday night and it was the only place in the area that wasn’t packed solid with a wait… this could also explain the mediocrity of the food. Stuffed mushroom app was highly recommended by the server but they were pretty disappointing. The filling had wayyy too much breading it was like thanksgiving dinner stuffing and the shrooms were hard to cut with my fork. Calzones were huge! As expected and were pretty standard, nothing special. mine was a little burnt on top but it wasn’t a huge deal. Dessert was the peanutbutter Reese’s pie. Slice was pretty tiny which is just as well bc it wasn’t very impressive either. I have a major sweet tooth so it’s pretty rare I’m picky on my desserts but this one was not my fav. The crust didn’t taste right, and the on didn’t scream Reese’s to me but as least there was a layer of chocolate fudge in it :) I’d love to try it again another night bc we loved the place itself so much. Hoping the first time isn’t the norm. Shout out to Jennifer for awesome service Eventhough she seemed a little off that night. Such a nice lady.

Italian Pie is okay. It’s not the best ever, but I think it’s pretty good pizza and calzones. There are quite a few locations which is good if you’re out and about and want a familiar choice. The staff seems friendly enough for a neighborhood pizza joint and the prices are reasonable.
