Used to have nice staff and cheap gas prior to the Reno. Now it has a full snack store, rude staff, and expensive gas.
Also, their lotto machine is down half the time and they only know how to run the purchase as cash.

Oh West Metairie Shell, we have gone back a long way haven’t we? Since what my first car? You were right around the corner from the old Wargames & Fantasy where I met new friends and interesting people. Sat around shooting the shit over card games, LAN parties, my annual Death & Taxes Nuclear War throwdown. Shell you were there for not just me. You were there for us. Coke, Icees, snacks.
It was a simpler time, before things like MoJo and ethanol blends.
When I had to gas up my car before a date, you were there with mints and a squeegee for the windshield. Your pumps two by two and three entrances always made fueling vehicles a pain during the busy periods.
Still we’re in modern times now… you have newer pumps (still in that 2×2 config), including diesel, and nice staff. When I’m heading that way, I still visit from time to time and you, like a trusted friend, greet me with a cold drink in the cooler and a warm smile.
