I’ve visited this plaza on numerous occasions over the past year, and I had never noticed this store until today. They need better signage. This place is a gem! They have a nice selection of items for a small shop, and the prices are fantastic! I bought a pair of jeans for $ 5, a T-shirt for $ 2, and a ceramic kitty for $ 0.50. Items may be second hand, but all of the items I saw looked well cared for. Some appeared new. Everything is well organized and is very inviting. They have a large, well decorated fitting room. This is where I first noticed the anti-bullying messages. I later learned that the shop’s proceeds go to an anti-bullying cause. Kudos to them! The only thing that detracted from the experience was being told at 6pm that they were now closed. Both women apologized profusely. My suggestion is that they let customers know ten or fifteen minutes before 6pm that they are going to close. That way, people don’t feel rushed at the end.

Shopping for a good cause! Tucked in the corner of the methuen plaza is this thrifty shop. I never experienced the bullying that goes on now in the school systems, but all of the shop’s proceeds go to bullying preventing. They have stats and facts around the store as you shop that list some interesting note such as x % amount of bullying happens in the bathroom, etc. It’s crazy how bullying has become such a huge concern in the schools! The shop’s prices are very reasonable and it has shopping for the whole family(clothing for men. women, children, babies) and housewares, etc. There’s a dressing room in the backside to try on all the items. I believe there is a café side to the store in the front, but I did not see any activity there when I was in. The employees are very nice and welcoming. Stop in to shop for a good cause!
