I like the fact that the Gap and the Old Navy are right next to each other at the Loop. Makes it convenient to use my coupons and rewards cards at either/or. I do hate walking into the Gap. Any Gap. I can never figure out where the disembodied voice that says«Hi!» is located. I always end up looking around trying to figure out where they’re hiding so I can at least acknowledge them, but I never know where to look, so I feel like a dork. That aside, I feel the same way about Gap as I do Old Navy, never ever ever pay the full retail price. If it isn’t on sale, its over-priced. Now mind me here, I am willing to pay good money for good(really good) clothes. Gap clothes are not really good clothes. I hate the music they play in these stores, but at least its not as loud as over at ON. It always seems like they don’t have enough of any one style but then again I never have a problem finding what I want. When they do have a sale, it usually brings the prices to a reasonable level. The clearance racks aren’t as much of a jackpot as ON though. The quality of the clothing is one step up from ON, but that is to be expected, just like Banana Republic will have one step better than Gap. All in all an OK experience. I don’t rush to come here but I don’t hate the thought either.
