The food at the cottage is good. No one pours a Guinness like the cottage. Enough said. And of course… KENO

lunch recently… Unilocal reviews looked good so decided to give it a try, it is not easy to find, sort of tucked away behind a strip mall and a service station, but once there, very nice, all the typical irish trappings and a friendly server, we ate at the bar, drinks were good and as ordered, the cottage spring roll apps were wonderful(we brought half home), the burger very good and the salmon meal very big and good, it also largely came home with us… very good place that we will try again!!!

This place is an amazing hidden gem. I had lived about 10 minutes from here for nearly 10 years and had no idea it existed. I recently moved out of town and was back visiting friends and someone mentioned grabbing breakfast here so I gave it a try. It was a phenomenal decision. The portion sizes were quite large, prices were very reasonable, and flavors were very good. I am a huge fan of smoked salmon, so when I saw they had a smoked salmon omelet I had to give it a try. It certainly did not disappoint. They didn’t skimp on the fish at all. I expected a few small slices because it is so expensive. Nope, the people piled it on thick and packed it full of flavor. My wife was equally as impressed with her meal. It’s got a good atmosphere, good service, and reasonable price. I will definitely be back.

My favorite place to go on the planet. The food is incredible, no matter what you try. The drinks are strong, the service fast and pleasant.

Best, best, best Boiled dinner this side of the Atlantic. I no longer live in the area but go here every chance I get. It’s not only the incredible food but if you are wanting to experience a true New England style neighborhood bar this is where you’ll find it. Good food, bottomless beers, the local sports team playing, and yes even a little bit of rowdiness. This is my kind of place that I can only find in one small area of the country. Thank you.

Update: after breakfast a couple months back being just«ok» we had some friends ask us to meet them here for dinner. Place was packed, I think we got the last table at 5:30. Ward had a Guiness, I had wine(love the«glass & a half» serving size offered) & our friends got Martini’s off a very extensive Martini menu. They thought the drinks were great, so if you like a Martini, don’t be afraid to order one here. Food was good too. I had the beef stew, which was excellent, Ward had the salmon(the«rice pilaf» looked to me suspiciously like plain white rice, but he didn’t complain so…). Our friends had the shepherds pie(came in a bowl, which was interesting) & a burger, which they both liked as well. Service was good, the waitress came by reguarly. Place got a bit noisy for chit chat after dinner when the band started up but by then we were done eating. If you are in the area, stop by for a cold one and some good food.

What they have lacked in certain situations, they have made up for in customer service. Had a situation arise where food was added to my tab instead of another customers, called to bring it to their attention and they more than made up for it during my next visit. Food is always good, beer is always cold(which isn’t extraordinarily Irish, but how I prefer it). This is a favorite among my friends and family.

I don’t always care for the live music they have going but I definitely love the food. Everything is extremely delish. The prices are great and the staff is attentive too. The place is spacious and clean. Great place all around

Nice little spot. really clean/nice in side(considering it’s just off the highway/rotary and behind a gas station). Went for lunch the other day — good Rueben and sweet potato fries were perfect — not greasy. Nice pour on the Sam Adams and the plentiful wait staff was very friendly and prompt. I’ll be back

Great little place! Dined here for both breakfast and dinner a number of times. I love the guineas stew, my husband enjoys the chicken curry. The Irish Breakfast is awesome, but get the half, the whole breakfast is enormous. The service is always super friendly!

Hate to paste a bad review and typically won’t unless it’s really bad. Rude service, multiple occasions. Last night was no different. Watered down drink. Ordered the Irish Dip(think French Dip). The mystery meat looked like microwaved alien grey matter. Tasted even worse than it looked. The au jus was a bowl of grease. My son’s sirloin steak sandwich looked microwaved and had no flavor. Servers never came by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. When she did it was 25 minutes later and no thank you I don’t want anything else. And no it wasn’t busy. Do you know how to cook beef?

The Irish Cottage is great. My friends and I love going for 35¢ wings on football Sundays. They have a decent beer selection, and a great selection of whiskeys. I also really enjoy their curry. The staff is polite and attentive, and who doesn’t enjoy having a few drinks and playing some keno? It’s always a bit crowded, but stop in and give it a shot.

If you’re looking for an authentic Irish meal… look no further than the Irish Cottage! You may need the Luck o’ the Irish to find a parking spot… but trust me… it’s well worth the effort. The menus is varied, the prices are very reasonable, the food is AWESOME and they have loads of fresh beers on tap. FYI…if you’re going there on St. Patrick’s Day… go Early it’s a huge party!

A fantastic Irish Pub tucked away off I-93. The place is clean and the people seem friendly. Not the largest place but there was plenty of seating. I had the short rib dinner which was just fantastic. Two large chunks on a large serving of mashed potatoes and surrounded by carrots. A very large serving for a very hungry guy. Add a Guinness and some football on the TV and you leave happy. Being from Indy I noticed everyone in Brady jerseys, but that wasn’t enough to spoil this place. Five Stars!

This is my new favorite breakfast spot. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and gluten free toast, which are both super rare for this area. Prices are great and the atmosphere is pretty inviting. I’ll have to come back here in the evening to see what the actual bar scene is like. Tip: Getting seated might take some time during the weekend, because there are families coming through, but if you’re solo or just a pair, you can sit at the bar with little to no wait.
