Overall fast, responsive, knowledgable service. Repair Guy Dave A. was great to work with and very efficient at diagnosing fixing the problem. My only negative(and not against the repairman) is that Mr. Appliance needs to do a much better job of breaking down charges. For example, No hourly labor charges or parts costs provided to me. I was handed a bill for $ 230 for a gas stove repair(bad ignitor). I was told that the ignitor part was $ 60(my cost) and the $ 90 visit charge was dropped because I went through with the repair. So, it appears to me that I paid $ 170 for the labor which was about 1 hour’s work. Of course, there is no way to know how much labor is involved up front but that’s way too high. Do your homework and ask for a breakdown of all charges(including hourly labor costs) before you call them. You will still be charged $ 90 for the visit even if you don’t proceed with the repair(this is common with most Appliance Repair Services).

I called Mr Appliance of NE Massachusetts and they had offered to come out the next day for service. I had plans that I could not cancel so I scheduled a few days out. They called me earlier due to cancellations to see if I was available for service. I was THRILLED about this because I was anxious to get my washing machine back up and running and the timing worked. They kept in contact througout the scheduling process and were very professional. Dave Arbuckle arrived to repair my washing machine and he was informative, personable, honest and provided excellent customer service. I feel i received great service at a great price and i was confident that Dave was experienced in this business and knew exactly what he was talking about. My machine was back up and running within a few hours. The overall experience was excellent and I would recommend Mr. Appliance for service.

I called on Friday for refrigerator repair and was given a Monday morning appointment. Office staff was professional and friendly. The technician arrived within a half hour of the promised time frame, and called first. Dave, the tech, was really great, friendly, interacting with my dog, showing me the problem in a knowledgeable way, and making great recommendations. Not only did he find the part, it was repaired within 2 hours. This is an older fridge but that wasn’t a problem for him.
