We come here before going to BYOB restaurants in metuchen and we are very happy with the selection and price. We bought the soul sister Pinot noir for around $ 12 and really enjoyed it with our dinner! The lady working there was very nice :)

Aww. I dig this place because after moving into the Edison area a little bit over a year ago, the family that runs this store were the first people to really make me feel welcome. and it wasn’t that big bottle of brandy I bought, so stop thinking that now! well, it could have been. Regardless, this little spot has a surprisingly large selection of wine and liquor. There could be a few more beer options, but I’m a Yuengling/Heineken gal so I don’t really mind. Full selection of tobacco products if you partake in such a thing, and decent prices. I’ve definitely walked out of there with quality, not major label wine for less that 15 bucks. There is no deli part, maybe that was something that went on years ago, but its no longer. Plus, the folks here are just so nice, its worth not going to the giant A&P Liquor Store literally down the street.

I’m a fan. The«Deli» part of the name in not really true. It’s just a liquor store, but they are friendly and helpful and will wave to you when you pass if they’re standing outside. It has a very Metuchen/“Cheers” type quality once you’ve been a couple times.
