This is a very nice and cute park in the area, even though it’s very small. A lot of people enjoying it.
Unfortunately, they want to destroy the park and to build a new high building on its place. We can save it by signing the petition:
Hopefully, the park will stay and people will be able to continue enjoying it.

What a great find!
Beautiful swimming area — it’s truly like the Caribbean. Clear, beautiful blue water, and great for little kids, as there are some big sandbars only a foot or so deep just a few feet out. Includes a lifeguard station. Right on the boardwalk that runs the beach, and it even has parking! One of the cheapest rates I’ve found — just a $ 1 per hour.
Only down side is the 3 hour time limit on parking in the actual park.
Totally recommend. BEAUTIFUL.

Early Winter, early morning, in the mid-60’s — 65^th street and about 65 degrees you will find me and not too many others — THANKFULLY — running, walking, strolling –and enjoying this lovely treasure — about a mile and 1−½ long a paved trail between the hotels & the beach. Run or walk — but go & enjoy.
