I love it! High and good energy people, in a design and elegant space, tasty french cuisine with generous portions, very good eclectic dj, elegant clientele, sometimes getting crazy and wild :)!

Recently moved from New York to Miami Beach. Been to Bagatelle in NYC so figured I’d try out the South Beach location. From A-Z this place far exceeded my expectations ! We got there 9:30 for a 10pm reservation. We hung out by the bar til they were able to seat us. Nice pour on the Dirty Martini and yummy. Vibe and music were great. They were super busy so we were seated late but the manager couldn’t be more hospitable. He seated us right near the DJ area which was primo location. He had a truffle pizza waiting for us when we sat down. Talk about orgasmic! Thin crust truffle … I died and went to heaven ! My friend and I ordered the Tuna tartare as an appetizer. Another hit! The finale was the delish mahi mahi with the most flavorful couscous that I will be dreaming about. It was a wonderful dining experience … The crowd was top notch. Management and service were excellent. I can’t even think of one thing I would say bound improve Bagatelle ! It’s going to be my new hang out. Great vibe great crowd great food great service !!! Make s reservation and go !

Badass restaurant and bar. Huge Sunday funday party, great, unique drinks, and over-the-top awesome food. Also an amazing staff who actually remembered me a week after my first visit. Cool environment, DJ, full-on hidden stage lighting setup, fresh, poppy, modern art, and a youthful, well-dressed clientele. Highly recommended. This is white tablecloth meets acid trip.

We can get to the food later. This place exceeded my expectations when it comes to a fun night out. A restaurant injected with one of the best DJ music in town. Start your evening with a good restaurant feel. Couple of hours later, while still enjoying your restaurant experience, the amazing music and light effects will make you stand on your chair and dance(and many do)!! Good and service are above average. But it’s the full experience that makes this place great. Valet parking is available. And make sure you make reservation first.

Went to dinner here during Art Basel trying to escape the rain, but instead I escaped reality. This place was bumping with a DJ and the restaurant had brought in a live musician, who was walking around the bar and tables singing to everyone. I was worried they might be covering up their food with the great entertainment but when we were served food it blew me away. They will put white and black truffle on anything you want and won’t refuse any request. Our waitress had a spritely attitude and just happened to speak French which was a coincidence because half our table was from France which made it easier to order. I was so distracted by the all around service that I forgot there was a tropical storm outside! The advice I would give you is that if you are looking for an affordable quiet dinner do not come here. SOUTHBEACH = $$$$ BUT if you are looking for an amazing start to your long night ahead 100% go! you’ll just be pumped up and leaving wanting more!

Here’s the thing… Bagatelle could be really, really good if only it can get over itself. I thought the food was great. I had the truffle gnocchi and the Tatin de Tomate. Both of those dishes were delicious and vegetarian! I also had the truffle fries, but they were eh especially when you consider it was $ 15 for french fries. Yardhouse has much better truffle fries and they are only like $ 5. My biggest issue with the restaurant though is they are trying to re-write rules in a bad way. The waitress told us we couldn’t order appetizers before our meal… that we had to order all our food together. I have worked with restaurants for a long time and have never seen this«rule.» Honestly it’s bad for the restaurant and awful for the guests. People will order more food if they order apps ahead of time. They also will be happier because they will have food on their table faster. Also we had to leave a little earlier than other people in our party and she really didn’t want to run our credit card before everyone else was ready to leave. So basically she didn’t want to take our $$. I also had to flag her down and practically beg for us to get a second round of drinks. There was a good 15 minute lapse where my wine was empty and I couldn’t find her to order. I even asked a waiter to send her over, but it still took another 10 – 15 minutes. Here’s the problem: #1 it’s South Beach and for some reason restaurants think bad service is okay on South Beach. Take a note from NYC that bad service doesn’t work, especially on the locals. #2 an 18% service charge is included in the bill. So the waitress really doesn’t care if she gives you good service, either way she is getting her tip. I write this in hopes that management reads it and does care because with good food and a fun atmosphere they really could have a great restaurant, but right now I wouldn’t recommend it. Service is just a big part of the puzzle and without that you’ll never succeed in the long run.

Great place to eat and party without having to switch places(not your quiet date restaurant). The drinks are delicious, food is good, and the music and atmosphere are the best. They have two seatings, so if you make an early reservation, they will make you get up from your table by 9:30, which is not cool. Choose the second seating if you plan on staying for the fun part. It’s expensive as expected for this type of place, and the valet is even worst. Not to mention there is a small walk from the valet to the actual restaurant. If it’s raining, they won’t even offer to help of lend and umbrella. We had a very nice waiter, although he did make a couple of mistakes on our orders. Nonetheless, a great place to people watch, listen to an awesome DJ, dance, and have a great time.

This restaurant is really good. Aside from the drinks being overpriced, the food was amazing. The burger is out of this world. Music was good too. Overall it was a great experience but don’t expect to waist less than $ 120(each person).

So hubby and I decided that we wanted to do something fun, where we didn’t have to stay in lines, can have a place to sit and a place to eat at all times.(I know we are getting old, but I believe these are the perks of being married lol). We actually first started out at Pub Crawl in Brickell at AMSO and had a drink there. We headed off in an UBER to south beach, which was quite crowded so took us about thirty minutes to get there. Bagatelle seated us right away. Everyone was in costume and there were halloween decorations everywhere. The DJ had the music pumping. We ordered some drinks, I ordered the berry lust, a little too much purée for my taste, but a decent drink. Truffle pizza– light crispy, very truffle-y flavor, we killed this thing in no time and we were hungry for more Truffle chicken for 2 with roasted potatoes– This took a pretty long time to come out, but keep in mind this is a «dance party dinner» type venue, and it takes a long time to cook such a large chicken. It was truffley moist, and very tasty and satisfying Chocolate dessert with a pretzel crust and pretzel icecream was phenomenal! Honestly, this is the place to dance, eat, and be merry, but it’s a late night activity for sure. If you come at a 10pm seating, you probably can leave earliest by midnight or so, but you have the table the whole night if you want to dance and drink all night. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to dance, eat, drink all at the same time! Will definitely come back to try there brunch, as it is very famous in NYC!

I came here recently for a bachelorette party and the scene fit perfectly for this situation. There are pros and cons to this place, so before you decide to go you should know what you’re getting into. Pros: –GREAT music! I loved the DJ that was playing. really fun party scene with great lighting, performers, etc. Don’t expect to bring you parents here for a quiet meal. –Fun environment. Overall super fun pre game spot in Miami Beach. Cons: –Extremely pricy, and unnecessarily so. The food is so-so, nothing special, but the prices for food and drinks are extremely high. Don’t expect to pay less than $ 100 for yourself alone if you’re drinking. –Very crowded and poor service. I was disappointed with our service, given that we were a large group and it was a special occasion. If you’re looking for a cool spot on a Friday night to pre game, you should check it out! If you’re looking for a sophisticated french meal, this is not your restaurant.

This restaurant double books tables and then requires parties to leave early in order to accommodate for the next table. The food is mediocre at best and over priced. Drinks are about double the price of drinks anywhere else. A waste of time and money

This is a great place to have fun, have good drinks and eat really good food! I read many of the low rating comments here, and because I am a fan I must comment… lol So I realized that most of the comments could be because many people don’t understand the concept of Bagatelle… It’s a party place people!!! I’m from NY and we have a Bagatelle there also. Regarding a comment about the hostess telling people that there are no tables: the restaurant might look empty but it gets super packet, I know because I have gone a few times for brunch, and if you get there early before the craziness start, the place is dead. 3 – 5 tables only, but if you hang around until 2:30– 3pm OMG… the places gets packed and loud… It’s party time… lol So far from all the times that I have being there(around 6 maybe more) the managers and hostess are friendly! The waiters are great! Very attentive and on top of the situation, I’m sure that sometimes things might go wrong… but thats life, food runs out, people call out(specially in Miami:-/) They might get short staff and then YES… on that day you might not have the perfect dinner or brunch but I think the place is awesome!!! Good music, good service and great food, if you know what good food is;-) There are some items that I don’t love but overall its really good! For brunch, the pizza, pancakes and the crab Benedict are delicious, fresh and perfect! For dinners the grilled octopus OMG… delicious:-) I love the snapper, the lamb and the steak, simple but super flavorful. Great food. I love almost every drink that I’ve tried so far… It is expensive but its a high end place, so you pay for the seen and everything else! I had bad experiences in places that I’ve gone before, I’m a foodie and love to go eat and try new places for good food, but in case of a bad experience at first timer I always like to give them another chance, specially if its a busy place, they just might be having a bad day… and we all have those don’t we? ;-)

The 4, is for the endless fun and smiles I had while I was here. There there were a couple of minor hiccups, i would definitely try it again. This is a place you go for ambiance and a leisurely paced dining experience, a place to bring out of town guest for Miami Beach exploits is a classy/sassy way. This place is FUNFUNFUN!!! When you order a magnum of champagne, the servers will fly it to your table via a costumed superwoman held by other servers or the cast of 300… sparklers, fanfare galore… this is MIAMIBEACH at it’s relaxed loud playful obnoxious oblivious good times roll – all types of people fun… the restaurant is a showplace and a beautiful showplace it is. The four of us tried this place on a Friday night dinner where they honor Miami Spice… I made a reservation which was held with a credit card and told my ladies get ready for fun and food… We arrived and the table wasn’t ready but the hostess was honest when I made the reservation and indicated there may be a wait. it was 15 minutes or less made acceptable with her warning and the fun bar at the bar. When seated, we only received the regular menu. we waited t10 for our waiter and finally had to ask the hostess for it. The servers and bussers were polite and more than pleasant but eh pace is definitely on the slow side… do not go here starving! we ordered a la carte and off the Miami Spice menu. Gnocchi –fantastic, light flavorful and delicious oysters…delicious it wasn’t explain what kind they were but definitely fresh Scottish salmon great duck breast tasty, needed salt and was not medium rare as requested steak very good, but they should warn people that that big Lima bean looking pepper is SPICY!!! lol Cocktails/drinks SOLID! We didn’t realized that we had ordered bottled water at $ 10.00 a bottle, which isn’t outrageous but be forewarned. Dinner was punctuated with great DJ music and flying servers with bottle of champagne with and cold bursts of air from the bar air gun. There isn’t a dance floor but it was super energetic had a blast. I was giddy like a school girl. The food was good plus, service good plus– but the party ambiance that will make me stop but again soon!

Awful service and attitude. Unsanitary bathrooms. Very unfriendly to vegetarians as well. The only options were a side salad, fries, pancakes, or gnocchi. Everything else comes with meat. The waitress explained that the chef will not alter any of the dishes, because he is very important. Then she offered me shrimp. … Adding that the bathroom had an exploded toilet that leaked all over the floor and NOTOILETPAPER. The poor attendant had no cleaning supplies to clean this up, and no spare paper in the cupboards. She was handing out paper towels to use in the stall. This was the state of the bathroom when we arrived but it was still the same when we tried again at the end of our meal. So over an hour with toilet water all over the floor and no toilet paper. What the hell.

1 word: AWFUL! Brunch reservations for 38 people for a friend’s birthday. They showed us to 2 of 3 tables we had reserved and said they would show us 3rd table but the hostess disappeared, so apparently it was not ready and not close to the other 2. We finally squeezed everyone in. Whew, crisis averted! SERVICE: Virtually non existent with the exception of Dot but he was only a busser and had very little empowerment. It took at least 30 minutes to get water, and server didn’t want to give it to me when I asked! The manager said in a very heavy accent that we would not be allowed to order individual drinks«because eet would zake at leeast 20 meenutes to do that» and said we could only order bottles– at first he said we had to order a minimum of 12 bottles of Vueve at $ 150 but the problem was not everyone drank champagne so a lot of people did not drink because they basically said bottles or nothing. We ordered 5. Then a HUGE caraf, lit up and filled with straws was put on the table. I had asked for the $ 85 rose’ sangria to share with my bf but was told they only did the large one for $ 385. Sorry but I’m not dropping all that money to share backwash! We told them we did not order it and it was taken away. A short while later we noticed one of our other tables with the smaller caraf. When we questioned why they were able to get it, the manager said he would do it for us for $ 185. So we shared that. Presentation was lovely and tasted okay but obviously very watered down. FOOD: Terrible. After what seemed like a lifetime, we were able to track down our waiter thanks to Dot. He had not been to the table once in the first 45 minutes or so. We placed our orders and a short while later he came back and told anyone that ordered French Toast that they were out of it and to select something else. My bf was one of those people. He chose the pancakes instead while I ordered the lobster and shrimp roll. The food arrived and my bf and another guest who ordered pancakes said the were awful and topped with rotten bananas. He shoved those to the side and doused them in syrup to make them edible. My lobster and shrimp roll was basically a corn and pepper roll with very little evidence of any type of seafood. I took a few bites and had a few«old bay chips» for a ludicrous amount of money. AMBIANCE: Fun. The feel of a nightclub with good music, CO2 blasted on you to keep you cool and lit up characters dancing about. Too bad everything else was miserable! And the bill came, close to $ 800 for 8 people at our table. After I looked at it, I noticed all the people who ordered french toast were charged for that along with their subsequent order. Nearly $ 80 overcharged and don’t forget the 18% gratuity that was added for the dreadful service. SAVEYOURMONEY! Great concept but there are far better places in Miami to dine.

I did a business dinner here and from the time we sat down to the time we left we got amazing service. Sergio the door man, makes sure the crowd is, Martin manager and Amanda server made sure the food and drinks came out to are liking. The ultimate white cloth dinner. High energy, great music, solid food and upscale crowd.

The food is amazing! We had the gnocchi, the risotto, the tomato and goat cheese mini pie and the tuna tartare, everything was delicious! The music and ambiance was amazing too! Kind’a like villa azur but better music. The service was great our waiter(Pedro) was on point! The only thing I didn’t like was the wait time for the table which is typical in anywhere hip in Miami to wait for your table at the bar even if you come on time but we did wait waaaaay longer than usual :/

I went to Easter Sunday brunch with my best friend and had an absolute blast. I’d expected it would be difficult to get a reservation, but we were able to get a table in the early afternoon without much trouble. We spent some time at the bar waiting for a table and got to try both the sangria rouge and the sangria rose. I LOVED the rose! So much so, that we ordered a small $ 85 tub of it for the table! To eat, we had the tuna tartare to start which was DELICIOUS! We then also ordered the ghocchi to share, but when it came we weren’t thrilled with it. We let the server know and he immediately offered a replacement. We got the cheeseburger instead, and it definitely hit the spot. The food and service were both very good, but let’s face it Bagatelle is about the party and party we did! I had an absolute blast that Sunday and will DEFINITELY go back!

Great music, ambience and food. Fantastic«supper club,» circa 2015. Steaks and Short Ribs, highly recommended. Also tasty were the pastas and the tuna tartare. Don’t be intimidated by the long wine list, lots of great value. Bring your best girl and be ready to party. Must get reservations, call 2 weeks in advance if possible. Many great tabes for groups. Better than NYC!!!
