Nice outdoor bar in a very comfortable setting, well done. Definitely would refer to this as outdoor living space rather than just a patio bar. Lots of nice touches. Good pisco sour(these can be hit and miss) and surprisingly friendly servers given this is the SLS. As expected, the drinks are typically resort prices

Gorgeous bar! I love Jose Andrés and have eaten at many of his places. I was Surprised by the quality of the cocktails after so much bragging on their menu. They Served a martini and negroni in those horrible coupe glasses; they are very small and cost $ 18 bucks! Not interesting or sexy at all. We also ordered the ham platter, it had several slices of excellent ham but just two tiny pieces of bread for $ 24…how about a little effort? Maybe an olive or slice of cheese? It’s a drop dead gorgeous scene but too pretentious for my taste; I don’t care what things cost but only if its a great experience.

The price of attendance is the drinks. The show starts around 9:30 as ridiculously short dresses and incredibly awful looking dudes start to get ready to hit up Hyde. The atmosphere is laid back for an incredibly trendy crowd. Tapas were fine but the conch fritters are a pass(liquid center was more like a sewage center). Overall great people watching and worth a stop for cocktails.

Small outdoor bar in the SLS hotel by the pool. Interesting mix of people. I’ve had breakfast here and small bites with drinks during the day. Breakfast was very good. What I noticed about the food at this hotel(restaurants at this hotel) is that they really like foam. They put foam on many dishes. I had the eggs Benedict with smoke salmon which was a deconstructed version with foam. It was delicious. The mimosa was good, the Bloody Mary was good but not nearly as good as the one from The Local House. I’ve also tried the pork belly sliders and they were very very good. The service could be kinda slow but maybe they don’t have enough people working cause the few who are working are so busy.

Let’s talk about olives. What are they really? Little flavor-packed spheres of this strange meaty-textured, salty fruit that are served in a brine of their own fermented juices and the primary ingredient in the most ubiquitous cooking oil. Centuries of thick-browed cultures have thrown them onto, into or before other foods, but the poor olive — it’s always an accessory. Never the main attraction. It seems a little unjust if you ask me. On a abhorrently cold Miami night(65F), I found myself turning down Bar Centro’s «ultimate gin and tonic»(It looks super fancy, but it boils down to the bar chefs throwing a gin-themed bouquet into your drink; juniper, lemon, lime, lemongrass — it’s more ultimate in presentation than taste). Instead, I needed something a little stronger — two SLS-provided blankets, a sweater and a wool coat that’s protected me from snow storms in the past could not keep the chill out — it was time to muster some heat from within. I got the dirty gin martini. The waitress(who was a little drunk, but a complete doll and incredibly friendly for a place this posh) toted it’s main attraction to be an olive brine foam which floats above your generous serving of gin. A ghost of olives’ past, if you will. Bottom line: You’re paying $ 30 a cocktail so you can take pictures of it and tell your friends about it later.

Great scene, expensive drinks, late night gawking and partying. Very, very contemporary Miami Beach. nice pool.

Great atmosphere! It was a warm but rainy night, so I appreciated the indoor /outdoor vibe. The service was really good — just enough with out being intrusive. I can’t really comment on the mixed drinks or food as my friend and I had a few glasses of wine, but it was an excellent Malbec. A very enjoyable evening!

Frozen bleu cheese mini sandwiches are divine! Sounds odd but is perfect with crunchy, creamy, sour, sweet, bitter, pungent all in one. So good you will not be able to stop thinking about it. The scene is pretty hopping as well.

Live DJ spinning got a Hot Date or looking for one the outdoor patio is the place to be even 11pm on a Tuesday night this is a place to be with the sexy people. Great place to pre-party before heading out to a club or next door to Hyde. No reservation needed to sit at a table no minimum bottle service either which makes it even more attractive. Guest can order small plates from Bazar or Katsuya.

For the three days we spent in Miami Beach, this was our favorite place. Sure, the cocktails aren’t cheap, but where in South Beach are they? My husband and I managed a place at the bar, and the service from the bartenders was outstanding. I ordered the Clean ‘n Dirty Martini, and much to my pleasure, the bartender asked me, «Gin or vodka?». Gin, always gin. The olive brine air and the olive spherification definitely made this worth the $ 16. My husband’s Jose Sour was also good. We ordered a few small things to munch on. The conch fritters with liquid center were possibly the best conch fritters I’d ever had, and the frozen bleu cheese sandwiches were the perfect combination of salty and sweet. You must get the liquid nitrogen caipirinhas if just for the show — like an alcoholic slushy. In retrospect, we wished we had just stayed at Bar Centro instead of heading down the street to our dinner reservation.

A very snooty local escorted us here on a bizarre city tour, but I’ll tell you what, i was all set to hate it just to prove a point, but we had a lovely time here. Caught up with old friends in the low leather couches and sipped some sort of strawberry champagne concoction(strawberry jam? Strawberry patch? Mind eraser, apparently). Good lounge with a great mixologist.

Eh we came back here last night and the service was horrible. No one knew what they were doing, even the bartender. She wasn’t quite all there if you catch my drift. I came before and this wonderful mixologist made me an amazing cocktail simply by my request of a cocktail with vodka. That was it! And voila! A magnificent vodka cocktail appeared before my eyes. I uttered the same words to the bartender last night who gave me a blank stare and told me that I could order some cocktail on the menu with vodka & st germaine and chamapgne… hmm didn’t I say I just wanted something with vodka? Then she suggested to make me a cucumber martini. Wow what a unique suggestion!(eyeroll) I then asked her if she could make something slightly fruity and a light bulb went off! She was like«I can make you the passionfruit martini with vodka instead». Wooooonderful. My drink was great but the service made this place a drag. What the hell happened to the previous bartender? ugh! It was super crowded at like 9⁄930 so it made getting a drink hard. I don’t know if we’ll be back anytime soon.

Stopped by Bar Centro, the bar next to the Bazaar by Jose Andres. The cocktail menu is amazing and the bartenders err friendly and knowledgeable. The Ultimate Gin and Tonic, the Salt Air Margarita and the Jose’s Sour are my favorites! Best cocktail menu in Miami!
