This place is really good but a little too pricy. I enjoyed all the props but sometimes it would cover the person you’re eating dinner with. I wasn’t able to see my friends face! Food taste was ok.

The wait staff was pretty friendly. However, there was not enough of them on this particular night. There was a considerable wait to place my order for my food, and an even longer wait to receive my order once it was placed. Once I received my food, it was very bland but the presentation was nice. If you’re looking for presentation, then this place is obviously for you. However, if you’re looking for a quiet evening, fast service, and really good service then look elsewhere.

Our server was definitely drunk, but that was hilarious. We had a large party with a reservation but still had to wait which was unfortunate. They were very very busy on a Saturday night. I went for a friend’s birthday. I ordered the mac n cheese and a caesar salad which were both fantastic. Everything is super overpriced but that’s what you get on the beach at a place that is all about the show. The dishes are obviously whimsical and fun, totally different from your average dinner. My friends all thought their dishes were just okay, so not a great culinary experience. I might be back for a fun birthday dinner.

Parking is not easy unless you valet for $ 15. Great location and the food presentation is unique and memorable. In a scale of 1 – 10 the food was a 3 considering the price. The whole experience earned a 6 mostly due to the food presentation and good service.

Good food. Polynesia fish was excellent! Lobster Mac and cheese was okay. Bag of bones app was just okay. Dessert was super cool presentation. Portion size was not $ 28 for Mac and cheese and app was not worth the cost of $ 25 at all. The few folks around me that ordered Mac and cheese seemed to have a much larger portion. Server was nice initially but then kinda disappeared. Other servers checked in on us — Shawn. Second time having dinner there. Worth the experience. Definitely paying for presentation vs portion size or taste. Not bad food just not sure it’s worth the cost.

Where do I begin? So I booked my reservations a month in advance. I was coming from Texas to Miami to celebrate my 30th bday and I wanted to have the perfect dining experience. I researched for weeks and finally decided to dine here. I read reviews and anxiously awaited the day I was able to dine at the grease establishment. Our reservations were at 9:45. We checked in when we arrived and we told that we would be seated shortly. We waited and waited and waited. We asked several times what the hold up was and with no real answer, we just kept waiting. Finally at 10:30 I was done, but my friend told me to have a drink at the bar and relax. After 2 drinks, we still weren’t seated so we asked once again, what was going on and the lady told us our table was ready… This was a small table right across from the bar and this table had been open for a while and we couldn’t figure out why we had to wait if this table was available the whole time. Multiple people came in after us without a reservation(we head the lady telling them they had to seat reservations first… Yeah right) and were seated before us. It was 11 when we were seated and we were told that the kitchen closed in 5 minutes. Seriously, we waited all that time and still had to be rushed and not enjoy the full experience. I could have went ANYWHERE in Miami, but I chose here and to receive this poor customer service is completely unacceptable! When our food arrived, the display was nice, but I was so frustrated that I didn’t get to enjoy it. We ended up canceling our dessert. There was one other table there besides us and all the waiters kept swarming around us as if hurry up, we’re closed… I was too upset, so my friend spoke with the manager and told him about our experience and all he said was ok and who told you the kitchen closed in 5 minutes and walked away! There was no real apology or anything. Bottom line, I could always have another dinner, but I will never have another 30th birthday dinner. This experience ruined my birthday evening and I can never get this day back. The only plus was the Mac and cheese and drinks! To Barton G, thank you for the worst birthday dinner EVER! For $ 180, we should have had an amazing evening, but it was quite the opposite!

Pricey! But a must do for a special occasion. Every item that you order is over the top, unique and will taste delicious. From the crunchy, little breadsticks that come with butter that looks like a candle, to the beautiful cotton candy headdress of the Marie Antoinette dessert, everything is amazing! Service is great, atmosphere is great and it was a memorable dinner to say the least.

How cool is this restaurant?! If you’re fro out of town and coming to Miami to visit this place is so different! The food is so good and the decorations they use to serve you the food is so impressive. Mac and cheese is SOGOOD and definitely try the big ice cream or Mary Antoinette head of cotton candy! Fun vibes here and you’ll see lots of party’s over the size of 10 guests at each table. So cool! Check it out if you’re ever in the area!

Barton G’s is a place everyone should experience at least once during their time in Miami. It is over the top on presentation and the food is delicious! To start I had two of the Diamonds are Forever nitrogen cocktails– they were so sweet and delicious and so easy to drink. Highly recommend! Then I had the Samurai Tuna– I LOVED the sauce that came with it. Finally, dessert. The portions are HUGE! Good thing they warn you of this before ordering. Any of the desserts can feed 6 – 8 people. We ordered the Baked Alaska(with an ice cream cake twist) and it was an entire cake! We had leftovers for weeks later in the freezer. The staff was attentive and I went on a Sunday night so we were one of 3 occupied tables in the entire restaurant, but I’ve heard it gets very busy on Fridays/Saturdays.

Barton G is a «must visit» restaurant when in Miami Beach. While this was my wife’s choice, I walked out equally satisfied. We visited around the New Year in 2016 and requested outside seating — I would highly recommend it at nighttime(despite some humidity). The ambiance was hip, fun, and festive. It was the right balance between laid back and upscale and our seating was just right for a couple(near the center of patrons, with enough space around us to not feel confined). For our meal we ordered a bunch of memorable items and focused on the set of food items that are American staples and fun presentation(which is after all, emblematic of Barton G). For drinks we ordered the liquid nitrogen infused lemonades. Appetizers included the popcorn shrimp(the chili sauce was awesome), strike out sliders(the foie gras and wagyu beef went well together), and for the entrée, we split the long legged short rib(the cola braising was just right) in addition to the mouse trap mac n cheese. For our dessert, we could not decline the cotton candy with cake presented as «Marie Antoinette’s head.» Overall, the presentation of each item was memorable and fun with the servers being a part of the presentation. I would definitely go to Barton G the next time I am in Miami — the food is delicious, well prepared, and presented in a unique and fun manner.

Found my way to Barton G for a birthday dinner. He loved the place. It’s a fun upscale dining experience. The food was pretty good. I prefer a traditional steakhouse but I understand what they’re going for here at Barton G. We ordered … 2 drinks(Diamonds are forever and the other I can’t remember the name) — AMAZING ! the lobster pop tarts(tasty) 2 Ribeyes(Pretty tasty… nothing on Mortons) lobster Mac Marie Antoinette’s head(typical cotton candy) + Gratuity was $ 320 Service was great. You go for the experience. It’s something to try at least once.

Visited location to celebrate my birthday, which at the end of March on a Saturday evening. I had a 9:15pm reservation for two. I arrived a few minutes shy of my reservation time and was greeted by a hostess right in front. We were told to wait inside near the bar area for our table to be prepared for us. The bar area is beautiful, the chandeliers and the backdrop of the bar were stunning. The bar was crowded with other patrons waiting for their party to arrive or just to be seated. The dining area inside of the restaurant was warm and cozy, the décor once again was beautiful, there was a wall where many patrons stood to take pictures. We were seated outside on the patio across from the cabanas. The patio was properly lit and provided enough space for large groups and smaller ones as well. There are fans hung that kept the area cool. Upon being seating our server came over and introduced himself, he informed us of the day’s special and also shared information about what’s popular at the restaurant. He gave us some time to look over our menus. While doing so we were given twisted bread sticks and butter. While waiting we people/meal watched, there were plenty of desserts being ordered and happy and cheerful patrons around. The ambiance was seriously perfect for a birthday celebration. We went on to both order the NY Strip Steak and a side of the Crushed Yukon Potatoes. Of course in true Barton G fashion the steaks came out in decadent fashion. My steak was presented to me with a Trojan hat and my partners with a sword and platter which possessed a pig stating«Eat Beef». It was nothing short of amusing and an awesome touch to the dinner. The steaks were prepared well done as requested and very juicy. There was plenty of flavor to the steak. The Yukon potatoes were amazing! It was well whipped, rich and creamy. I did my best to not over eat in attempt to leave room for dessert, but it was hard seeing as though our entrees were delicious. For dessert we ordered the Carnival Fun Cakes, served with three different flavors of dipping sauces chocolate, strawberry and spiced caramel, along with powered sugar and regular sugar. There was a game of shooting ducks, which played. There were three large funnel cakes all fried well, crispy and hot. Couldn’t help but to pick at the funnel cake with both forks and fingers. It was delicious and a fun touch to the overall experience. Our server, the other wait staff were all very attentive and saw to it that we enjoyed both our meal and experience. I will most certainly return to this establishment and will recommend it to peers as well. Thank you Barton G for an amazing and amusing birthday dinner!

I totally love this place. Omg! I can’t believe I had so much fun here. The food was amazing but the only thing I have to fuss about would be the the tiny tables the restaurant use to serve the food on. The theme food here is amazing. My guess and I purchased the the Marie Antoinette head of cotton candy, voodoo shrimp and the birds eye view I believe that’s what it’s called. Anywho it was great and I will definitely be back soon.

Barton restaurant was such a great experience! I’m every happy to have experienced a restaurant like this. The concept of this place is awesome. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and trendy! I had the fillet which was delicious! I got the lobster Mac & Cheese which was really good, but the lobster tasted a little bit too fishy. The regular Mac and Cheese was really good. The coolest dessert is the Marie Antoinette Head, which was defiantly an attention getter! Barton G is an experience, not just a restaurant and I highly recommend it! Most likely you have never been to a place such as Barton G! Life Size Crazy Food Presentations are what they are known for and they do an over-the-top job of bringing the fun to your table! RESERVATIONS for our party of four were made multiple times due to conflicting schedules so I got to speak to the reservation line quite a few times and must say it is a breeze to call into! How many places do you call that answers each time after just ONE ring? Very throughout reservations are placed with explanations of what to expect and you get a confirmation email. most times before you even hang up! CUSTOMERSERVICE is Upscale as I was very impressed with the attention to detail each employee took during our whole visit. Spending the time to literally clean each crumb off of our table, replacing«dirty» silverware even when it was just a spot, and explaining/answering any questions our table might of had. You could definitely see teamwork is very important here. NITRO-BAR was something unexpected and really cool to see your Cocktail come out Smoking Cold! They create these Speciality Drinks with a Liquid Nitrogen at the temperature of –320 degrees! I chose the Sin-Sation that came out beautifully displayed with Baby Roses and Rose Petals all over! THEMAINFEATURE is of course the food and CrAZy displays! While we were taking a friend out for his birthday we had already browsed the menu and wanted to get the Lobster Pop Tarts and the Seafood Time & Worth The Weight! Both were presented in no fashion or form we have ever seen! Lobster POPTART– Process the deliciousness of this food items first… With an actual Toaster that comes out with your two ALREADY Toasted Tarts. They were flaky, generously filled, and Lobsterlious! SEAFOODTIME& Worth The Wait– Absolutely the BEST Seafood Platter we have ever had! This bad boy came with King Crab Legs– Stone Crab– Jumbo Shrimp– ½ Main Lobster and served with the necessary Sauces and Lemons! Everything was incredibly fresh and clean tasting! Definitely the ULTIMATE Dish of the evening!!! We also ordered the BARTON G. SEASONALCHOPPEDSALAD for the table and it was outstanding! Very crisp ingredients with lots of delicious seasonal flavors such as Roasted Acorn Squash, Pumpkin, Candied Walnuts, Pomegranate Vinaigrette, and more! Highly recommend and is easily shareable! Now for our Entrees; I ordered the Blooming Sea Bass and my husband the Samurai Tuna then we chose the Lobster Trap Truffle Mac & Cheese as our table sharing side. This is where we found disappointment and for the first time since we had arrived. BLOOMINGSEABASS– Immediately I noticed my Sea Bass was served cold, overly oily and salty, and the presentation was a bit weird to me. The fish was a big turn off but the small veggie side that it came with was alright. Flower Pot Theme just didn’t do it for me. SAMURAITUNA– Nice presentation but a bit hard to work around to eat your meal. The Tuna was definitely missing some kind of sauce or accompaniment. It only came with its small Asian Salad which wasn’t all that impressive. Overall, a washout and bummer for our two entrees of that night. LOBSTERTRAPMAC&CHEESE– Ohhhh Yes! You definitely want to order this as an extra side for the table or just yourself! This was Creamy, Cheesy, and full of Lobster Chunks! Very decadent with each bite being a mouthful of heaven! Birthday Boy chose his CHOCOLATEINDULGENCE and WOW was it a hit! Lighting up the room with huge sparklers the big Treasure Chest was encasing the Rich, Chocolatey, Double Chocolate Bittersweet Brownie! Once again the presentation was a sight to see and the contents were pleasurable! For such a «Show/Gimmicky» restaurant Barton G did an excellent job and we had a blast of a dining experience! Even though our entrees were not up to par we ordered plenty of deserving food to make up for it. Make sure you make reservations as it was bustling busy even at our Saturday night 9:30pm spot! Also, take to note that they do have an outdoor patio that if I knew about it I would have requested. Be Ready to Be Impressed!

The food was mediocre for the $$$. I ordered the popcorn shrimp, deviled eggs, lobster pop tarts, «birds eye view», fried chicken, filet minion, lobster mac’n cheese, and the treasure chest brownie and ice cream dessert. The lobster mac’n cheese and popcorn shrimp were the best, yet the mac’n cheese didn’t even have a piece of lobster in it and the popcorn shrimp appetizer only had about 6 tiny shrimp in it and a ton of cold popcorn. The filet was ehh. So were the chicken entrees. The lobster pop tart was really dry and mostly philo-dough(spell check?). The deviled eggs were tasteless. The desert was yummy, but $ 40 so I really didn’t get to enjoy it very much. To top it off, I couldn’t see my food because there was absolutely no light source in the outside seating area. I had to use the light from my phone to see my food. The table was also too small, so all the plates and stuff were so close to falling off and it was very uncomfortable. 3-stars because of the quick service, friendly staff, and the cool looking décor on plates, but wouldn’t go back ever again.

This place is all about novelty presentation. Very elaborate and over the top. Would you like Cotten candy shaped like Marie Antionette’s head? Look no further. My Samurai tuna was excellent, and als came with a sword. My friend ordered the cowgirl bone in ribeye, which was just good. Still, great place to be entertained.

Honestly, I went to Barton G’s knowing I would be impressed with the presentation, I mean isn’t that why people go there, the smokin’ drinks and big silverware display, popcorn shrimp being served in an actual popcorn machine… I had nightmares about the bill coming in an envelope called the DAMAGE!!! Not because of the actual bill, you go there knowing it’s going to be pricey, but my fear was it was going to be a lot of fluff without substance. Although our reservations was at 9 pm with a party of 6, but ended up with half our party arriving late and 3 more guests; the concierge was able to accommodate us. We did however have to wait until our full party arrived and were seated outside on the patio. Initially, we were against the patio seating, but our waiter was able to give us two heat laps in a closed off area, that was ore than adequate. Besides we were all hungry and didn’t feel like another elongated wait. MORALEOFTHESTORY:(DON“T BELATE&UPDATEYOURRESERVATIONFORANYANDALLCHANGES) Once we were seated, the true experience began… I think we tried just about every drink on the menu between the nine of us. The drinks were pricey, but honestly they were worth every dollar. Instead of ice, Barton G uses nitrogen to freeze a double shots of whatever liquor is in your drink. So your drinks are never watered down. But the true test was yet to come, THEENTREES!!! Be sure to take an aspirin before you look at the prices. It’s one of those, If you have to ask… DON’T GO places!!! I had the Cowgirl Rib-Eye, cooked medium well. I have been known to send a steak back, if it is not cooked the way I requested, but on this occasion, I had no reason to send it back. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned extremely well. The side of asparagus were cooked to perfection. The stalks were a decent size and they were still a bit firm. The lobster mac was full of lobster and real cheesy… In short, no complaints. Everyone in my party was satisfied with both the service, drinks, food and dessert. side note… gratuity is automatically added to the bill…

The overall ambiance and presentation is outstanding. The customer service is perfect and great. I heard a lot of great things about the restuarant and I am glad that I came. The buddahalicious was my favorite drink. The beef meal was awesome. This place is a great way to treat yourself from running the Miami half. Our way David was on point and they are team players at this place. I can’t wait to visit again. We visited from NY and we love every moment of it. It make you want to visit so that you can experience every meal for it presentation.

Highly overrated. I had seen such glowing reviews about this hot spot that perhaps my expectations were out of alignment. $ 27 per drink for the signature cocktails which were small and had little alcohol in them. The presentation was awesome so I guess that is what you are paying for. We ordered the truffle popcorn. Again awesome presentation. They pop it tables idea with liquid nitrogen and here in lies the problem. It is cold and a little wet. The flavor was good but popcorn should be warm and crispy. We got the bucket of bones. Presentation. But for a party of 4 you need two orders for each person to try each type of «bone». I can’t recall the name of the shrimp appetizer, it wasn’t memorable. They were out of the short ribs which was what I was eyeing on the menu. My friends saw nothing that appealed to them so we skipped to dessert. The cotton candy. Pretty head of cotton candy with a piece of cake and whipped cream. It was the best thing we had.

The reason for my 3 stars is mostly due to the wait. I find it EXTREMELY rude and annoying to have reservations yet the restaurant still makes you wait almost 1 hour till you’re seated. I made reservations for 9:15 and we didn’t sit down till 9:56. Seriously?! What is the point of the reservations? The service was good, the food was ok — the reason to go to Barton G is for their extravagant food presentation — it really is amazing. Here’s what we ordered: –lobster pop tarts: not good, they were doughy and just not very tasty, they might not have been cooked all the way –Caesar salad was good –I had the samurai tuna, which was good but nothing to write home about –BF had the sirloin –the mac & cheese was probably the best thing in my opinion

Pictures would be the best way to describe this place but since I did not take any that are good to share you just need to read my take on this place and view other people’s pics… This is our 3rd time there. We have only been there with our kids and our kids love this place. They use props with every dish to create a really fun atmosphere and it works well. If you get upset by high prices and that prevents you from having fun then this is not your place. We vacation every year in South Beach and we want to take our kids out so they can get excited and dressed up like the adults do. I say this is the place to take the kids«out on the town». The place location is great since it is one block over from Alton Road and not in a busy business area. We always find street parking on the cross streets(West is only Residential) but they have valet. The décor is excellent and the garden is beautiful and the place to sit if the weather is good. Now for the food… The best thing is how the dished are presented. Here are the highlights from our experience. Someone needs to get the specialty drink with the smoke and the chocolate monkey– we got the Sabrinatini. Did not taste so good it was worth $ 20 but worth the fun. We just got one as these add up $$. For apps we had– Bucket of bones– low point of the meal, too much sauce and not much meat. Laughing Bird Shrimp– excellent presentation in the popcorn machine– must have especially with kids. Dinner– NY Strip was done excellent and the huge silverware was a hit!(price hint: 2 people can easily share this) Samurai Tun– excellent and better than most other tunas I have had with the seasoning they put on it. Sword was a big hit(price hint: again, good for 2 people) Chopped Salad– excellent and this is probably the lightest thing and something we would get again even with no nice run presentation. Kids had dishes they loved with great presentations– Slider appetizer– baseball theme Mac and Cheese– mouse trap Deserts are the fun so you should share entrees and have deserts– Cotton Candy/Eat Cake– must have presentation with the 3 foot cotton candy and cake! Picture time Carnival Fun Cakes– although the kids barely ate this they loved the presentation and the game and still talk about it. Reminded me of the old county fair desert. Overall– my experience keeps getting better as we know what not to order and not break the bank(hopefully my review helps you for the first trip there). Great to get the kids excited and make it a fun night out for everyone so enjoy the atmosphere and make it more of an event and not a foodie night out.

Food is just ok and certainly not worth the money. I read a couple of reviews that compared the food to Cheesecake Factory and I agree — CF has better food. This place is all about presentation and even the service is not stellar for the money you spend. My drink ran out twice and we had to call the waiter to get a new one. On the second time he took the order then completely forgot to bring the drink. When we called him he said«it was on the house». Bill also took long to come and we had to wave the guy to do it. Now this is where it gets interesting: When the waiter came to introduce himself he told us about the specials, one of which consisted of a steak with some truffles. I was ordering the Sea Bass so I asked if we could try the truffles with the fish. He checked with the chef and told I that he recommended getting the Mac & Cheese with the truffles and that it would be a better combination(guess truffles are not a fish thing). So we ordered that and it was ok, not impressive(like the rest of the food). The bill comes: $ 400, $ 100FORTHETRUFFLES alone and $ 300 for the actual meals. At first I thought it was a mistake but then we discussed among the people and the table and decided not to complain. I had never been to this place and just thought people wouldn’t care because they know this is a $$$$ restaurant. We paid the bill and left. I talked to a couple in the industry of people about this and all of them said it is unacceptable to casually throw in a $ 100 item without at least mentioning the price. So to summarize, this is a cool place to take someone visiting the Beach but certainly not as impressive and they are perceived to be. Plus watch your bill.

Overall it gives impression of high end and hot spot in the city. It has some of that, but surprisingly it was also a very kids friendly. More than half of the tables were with kids. Food is hardly average. But the presentation is incredible, with just about every plate coming with a unique presentation. Starters are not a wow. But main courses are much better and more interesting. Our server forgot to bring one of our starters, forgot to bring a salad… We never got them. Overall this place looks and feels as a much more higher end than its good quality and s revive.

This is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food was incredible. There was a wide variety of choices between steak, seafood, and an large selection of fun dishes. I’ve gone here twice, once with a date, which was wildly successful. My date was astonished by the fun things that came out with the apps, meals, and deserts. I also came once with my family and they loved it. Another great thing about the restaurant is they have big statues like in the pictures provided which inspire conversation, between the people you are with and with other tables. Even if you’re awkward you can’t mess up a date here!

Barton G has a very special place in my heart, and I have been going for years! I do have to admit the past couple of years I have abandoned my favorite restaurant because of everything going in the Miami food culture, but boy am I glad I went back to taste dishes off of their new menu. Over the past year Chef Raul Del Pazo-Castro, of Cuban-American decent may I add, has done a complete rehaul of the menu, and continues to bush the Barton G envelope with each and every dish. The Barton G. experience focuses on «The Art of Being Social», with over-the-top, whimsical dishes showcasing food as theatre. His main goal with his new menu to go back to the basics, with locally grown ingredients that people know and understand, but shown in a completely different and avant garde presentation. To be honest, it’s an exhilarating experience from start to finish. To start off your meal at Barton G you must order a below zero nitrogen cocktail. My personal favorite right now is the Buddhalicious, which is a pear infused vodka, lychee and cranberry juice cocktail that is served with a nitrogenized pop of pear vodka for an extra kick. As far as appetizers there are so many that you should try. I suggest you order a few and share with the table. The Holy Smokes plate is a really fun dish to start off the night. The best part is that they prepare this plate right at your table. As they mix the popcorn with Parmesan and fresh herbs they throw in a white truffle nitro mix so that the second you place it in your mouth you blow out smoke! It’s pretty awesome. Besides that, I recommend you order the Champagne Oysters & Caviar. This is a dish that required a ton of research to get it just right. Barton asked the chef and his team to create a dish with a bubble in it, and he did just that with this enchanting dish. Pure delight. Then, of course, you have The Devli’s Egg, which they dye red to really give you that spooky feeling. The mix of chive, bacon and white and black truffles is out of this world. And, the Octopus Terrarium Salad is absolutely delicious and so fresh. It has been constructed to symbolize a coral reef. For your entrée if you don’t order the Polynesian Fish Fry then you are truly missing out on a orgasmic experience. I wouldn’t normally order a whole fried fish, but the meat is to tender, and the side of coconut jasmine rice is just perfect. Lastly, for your dessert, if you like chocolate nougat then you will love Brain Freeze. And, if that’s not your thing, then you are ordering the Lolli Pop Garden.

Cool Experience! This place is definitely creative and FUN! All of the food is served in an extraordinary inspired creative presentation. I will generalize regarding the food. It was ok, not great, but ok. The food quality, flavor and portion size clearly comes second to the presentation. They literally use smoke and mirrors to give the guest a unique dining experience. The server was extremely helpful and friendly and very good at selling the food experience. The bar drinks to desserts everything comes out as a show with its own unique jaw dropping presentation. They use molecular gastronomy to blow the guests mind with the food. It’s expensive but worth it, especially with a large group on a special occasion so you can see an array of plate presentations.

Great experience, I would recommend Going there for any special occasion. Let’s start off by saying the service there is very good. They had an error with wait time for my main entrée and without me saying or expressing any dissatisfaction, they offered me a complimentary drink an dessert. They didn’t have to do that but they did notice the wait time was too long and rectified the issue immediately. In regards to the food/presentations, all very good and extravagant. Food was the 4 star part of this review, it wasn’t amazing by any means and could of had improvement but pretty good. Presentation was very cool and different. Avoid: seafood tower(waste of money), instead get the popcorn Must have: Nitro drink + 7 Deadly Sins Dessert!

Unbelievable experience that everyone must try! This restaurant is so unique, elegant and food is absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we order the seafood tower, it was good, but I would’ve been fine with out it. It was roughly about $ 70 and very small. My main dish was the Lamb chop which was absolutely amazing, with the sauce. I recommended! And my side the the lobster Mac and cheese which was MINDBLOWING!!! It was so freaking good and you MUST get it!!! For our dessert, we had the 7 deadly sins, you get a variety of desserts which I like, it came with tres Leches, a cheese cake, caramel cake roll,(this 3 were my ultimate favorite) you also had(my least favorite) tiramisu, flan, and sweet buñuelo cheese balls. This dessert however is too much for 2 people lol we couldn’t even finish 3 but we did tried all of them! What I love the most about this restaurant is the way they present the dishes, it’s outrageous and fun! And you may see some bad reviews about this restaurant but don’t pay mind to it, if you haven’t been here ever, you must give it a chance, it’s really really good! Service is excellent, the waiters and waitresses go beyond to make your experience a good one! Oh and ask for sitting outside, you’d feel as if you were in a jungle! Amazing!

This was my second time at Barton G but I remember my first experience being a lot better. For a theme lover such as myself this is just as exciting as opening Christmas presents. Every single thing that comes to your table comes with an over the top themed presentation. The price is a little high but honestly it isn’t too bad. Presentation here is outstanding and basically the reason for my three stars. My service was ok, she was very sweet and nice(for the times I saw her) I started off with the bucket of ribs appetizer warning, it’s extremely messy. The barbecue sauce was great but it was literally two ribs, two small chicken drums and a piece of lamp. With a side of potato skin fries. The drinks have nitrogen so they come smoking. The drink was ok. My ny strip wasn’t of great quality, also I asked for it medium well and it arrived Burnt. It also comes with no side and sides are very pricey(I got macaroni for $ 21 dollars) My boyfriend got the chicken. Oh the chicken, what was supposed to be half a chicken looked more like half a pigeon with 4 potato balls. Extremely small portion, But hey it was delicious. Overall Barton g is a great place to enjoy once a year for the presentation but no so much for the quality of the food.

Came here for my birthday dinner. It was fantastic. The service is great. The food is elaborate and fun. Each plate is a piece of art. Deliciously crafted. It is pricey but totally worth it. It’s a place for special occasions and quite impressive. We had the buddha martini. Absolutely delicious. We shared the selection of fries as an appetizer and I had he lobster mac and cheese and the filet mignon. Wow is all I can say. For dessert we had the sundae and I have to say I was underwhelmed by this one. We had an incident where a server dropped the ketchup and it flung towards our party hitting one of the guests in the face and the management team came over to us right away with clean napkins. Their entrees were complementary and they offered to pay for the dry cleaning. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely be back.

You kinda know what you’re getting into when you come here, which is why I had quite low expectations going in when a friend suggested it. I saw a lot of couples, tourists, families — and in that aspect, there’s really something for everyone because of the whole whimsical spectacle of it all. My friend and I had been eating all day so we weren’t very hungry so we opted to just have a drink and a few appetizers. Prices are on the higher side but the portion sizes generally scale larger to go along with that. Our cocktails(Fresh Cucumber Nitro-Tini and Diamonds are Forever) were on the sweet side but each one probably amounted to two average cocktails. It was a bit fun seeing the nitrogen lollipop and the smoke that comes from dipping it in. I don’t know if it really added much flavor-wise or to keep it much colder though. For food, we split three appetizers, all of which we could not finish: — Lobster Trap Truffle Mac & Cheese — served in a hot skillet next to a lobster trap — Laughing Bird Popcorn Shrimp — comes literally in a popcorn machine — Bucket of Bones — no special presentation, just a small bucket filled with the meat The highlight was the Lobster Mac. It’s always one of those things that sounds good in theory but usually never lives up to your craving because there’s not enough lobster, or it’s unbalanced but Barton G’s is the best iteration I have ever had, and it’s worth coming here just to have this. There’s so much lobster. Without even trying, every forkful I got had a big chunk of lobster. The pasta was also perfectly aldente. The truffle flavor was subtle, complimentary, and not overpowering. And the cheese sauce was rich without feeling too heavy, probably due to the solid lobster flavor throughout the cheese base. The Popcorn Shrimp and the Bucket of Bones did not fare as well. There wasn’t anything special about the shrimp other than the presentation. The shrimp wasn’t well battered or seasoned and the accompanying sauce was way too sweet to want to use. The popcorn itself was quite good though. I wasn’t expecting all the meat to be slathered in a sweet BBQ sauce. I was expecting more of a dry or tangy preparation but with all the meat coming together in the same overpowering and sweet sauce, I couldn’t distinguish any one animal from another other than texture. The rib meat was also a bit tough and very hard to eat without getting extremely messy. You will definitely need wet naps for this and probably not a good option for a first date. The dish also comes served with pickles(weren’t well flavored or pickled long enough) and kettle chips with honey gorgonzola dipping sauce(quite enjoyable). We didn’t have room for dessert but the ones that I saw other diners order looked very fun and beautiful — especially the Marie Antoinette head with cotton candy hair. But that portion is definitely too much for just two people unless that’s the only thing you’re getting. Overall, I can see the charm of this place. I think it’s worth coming for an experience, especially for a larger party so it’s easier to share in the food and the experience. And although hit and miss, this place isn’t without good food — definitely get the Lobster Mac.

First of all, parking is charged $ 15 and when you leave the restaurant you discover that your car was parked on the street. I ordered pasta and it was cold and it wasn’t flavorful. Dessert was good but 1 of them can be more than enough for 3 girls. I was with 2 more friends and we spent a lot of money for not special, just fun pictures.
