They’re not Allowed to give tap water… Or atleast the bartenders don’t want to give it to you.

I couldn’t give this place 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1. I hate that you can smoke inside 2. The bartenders were really inconsistent Aside from those thing this place was great. The crowd was a mixed bag but overall young and attractive. While the whole«secret entrance» thing isn’t that exciting anymore the place itself is worth a visit. The drinks were mostly strong and the music was great. The DJ was playing bangers the entire time we were there. It was a great place to start our night, we were definitely feeling nice when we left. I’d definitely go back when I’m in Miami again, I can’t say what the spot was like late night, but at around 10⁄11 its a great place to start out.

We had a blast. The DJ did an amazing job. The bartenders are so smoking hot but also very hard working. Great Job ladies! Super mixed crowed. It was a great time.

Friends and I were literally on a roll with hitting up the«secret bars» in Miami(as explained by Thrillist). This was the last one on our stop, and we were super excited about the entrance(we were poached from Drunken Dragon by a waiter who told us he could take us straight to Foxhole). We followed him down a strangely morbid alleyway until we were in Foxhole(it was all a little blurry to be honest) but I remember the entrance feeling cool and mysterious. The actual bar, though, was kind of a letdown. It is two stories tall, so we definitely checked out both and realized the top(though super empty and quiet) brought a different kind of feel to the place with its cool view looking down into the bar area. The space didn’t look as interesting as I hoped it would look, overall. Drinks were good, but not excellent. Bartenders were not so on their game either(took them a while to make our drinks and it wasn’t too crowded at this point). Another —(negative) was the music was super loud. It was hard to have conversations. Overall, I think there are wayyyy cooler bars in Miami;(the Drunken Dragon secret bar, for one). This shouldn’t be at the top of your list.

Pretty cool looking place. Great music and good people watching from upstairs. Drinks can be pricy.

What is up with the rude, angry bartender?! Maybe treating paying customers poorly is supposed to be «cool» but I’d think that not being rude or annoyed by people ordering drinks would make customers feel welcome and they’d stay longer and consume more. Maybe the pretty, blonde bartender was having a bad night but it is never acceptable to be unprofessional to customers. Very disappointed this time around. At least the security guys were professional and courteous though.

Very shady place. Promoter promised girls drink free and we ended up getting charged 18 per drink.

I LOVE love love this place! They play all the best 80′ &90’s music! Prices for the drinks are more than usual but overall ambiance is great!

No sign, no real door, entrance next to garbage bins in an alley? Yup, you have made it to Foxhole. It was dark inside; but I liked the two story, middle-showcase bar layout of the place. It has a modern sophisticated feel to it. Good for people watching from the top, and had plenty of space to breathe and not knock into strangers, always a good thing. Music was up and down for me personally, but as the night went on, it did get better. The waitresses here were really good and timely at bringing out drinks and getting orders right. I did like that it’s not the type of place to get overly crowded. The people come and go, it’s a very chill lounge. Overall thought: me gusta.

If you like a chill and low-key lounge this is the spot for you. It’s off the path of South Beach.

Used to be a good place when it first opened. 1 star goes to the look and feel for the bar. 0 stars goes to the angry bartender Robert. Horrible service. Horrible drinks. 0 stars goes to the crowd. There was nobody there and it was Saturday night. A lookalike 2 Chainz took over the jukebox and we were forced to listen to HIS music all night with his posse. Lost 20 bucks trying to play some songs. Bartender had it blocked for FH2C(foxhole 2 chainz). Place was just overall depressing. Bodega did these guys in and they hate it. Least they can do is be polite to paying customers. Its just a bad empty place now with angry staff and overpriced drinks. Buyer beware.

Fun place for a night in Miami. There are tons of options in South Beach but if you are in the mood for a lounge vibe this is a great spot to go. Finding it was a bit of a challenge as there is no sign and it is in a dark alley but once you are in the fun starts. Reasonable drink menu and bonus for memorable pictures in front of there case of weapons! A strange thing to see in a bar but kinda cool novelty item.

I visited this bar for the first time for an event. The entrance, as mentioned by many, is in the back alley(no signs). Pretty impressive once you walk in. They have a pool table and a few arcade games towards the entrance and then a large bar. They also have an upstairs bar which is where I attended the event. Overall, it’s a pretty cool spot to hang out and have a few drinks. But there is a smell about it. The smell of rotten ice behind the bar kinda smell. I’d stick to the beer here and stray away from cocktails that include ice.

Great local bar with hip hop music, interesting décor, Tv’s playing different movies at the booths, a pool table and hot bartenders! The bartenders are very attentive and professional. Especially Christina! She is always making sure my glass is full and remembers my drink orders. That’s what I call VIP service! The drinks run about $ 16 each but what place on south beach has cheap drinks that isn’t a total dive? Foxhole is hidden as there’s only a simple red light above a blank door. They did this with their restaurant, drunken dragon as well. There’s an upstairs area with a table by their gun display and a pool table and darts up front by the entrance. Mostly locals come here and it’s a nice place to unwind.

Great music and a different scene. First of all, it’s hidden… which I find appealing. No charge to get in, pool table at the entrance which lets you know you’re not walking into an overly sadity spot in south beach. The drinks are high for what you get($ 11 for Jack Daniels) l, but it is south beach. The DJ was great when I went, all late 90s music… Total, SWV, Biggie, etc. Not too crowded, mixed crowd, and attentive bar staff. I’ll be back!(Especially since the line at Bodega is complete BS)

Great please for locals or tourists on Monday nights. Good drinks. Good music. Cheap drinks. Fun atmosphere. Excellent time if you’re looking for a more low key«underground» bar/club. Not your stereotypical south beach night club.

We came here because my friend, a Miami local, recommended it to us. This place is very well hidden and I don’t think we would have gone down a dark ally if a group of people weren’t standing there. This gave us the cue that we found the right alley. The inside was nice, we didn’t go upstairs but the people we meet at the bar were friendly. Skip to the good part: So being tourists we didn’t know we had to specify that we wanted cheap alcohol since we thought this was a dive bar. Anyways our 3 drinks were amazing. Our bill was $ 50+tip so we weren’t that happy naturally. As soon as we stepped out side one of my friends pulls out the Moscow mule cup! They didn’t ask us for an ID like they do in Sacramento so he just stole it cuz he thought our bill was too high!

A small hidden gem away from the tourist on south beach. The barmaids are super nice and friendly. The entrance is in a back alley with a red light which adds to the charm. If you are in south beach and want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to start out the night.

Ive had múltiple friends tell me to check out foxhole. So I grabbed a few girlfriends on a Saturday night. We initially sat at the main bar downstairs for a drink. We ordered a crown and ciroc and the total for both drinks was $ 32. Definitely pricier than other similiar places. We ended up going upstairs and found a nice corner where we danced our booties off. The music was amazing and the crowd was fun. Smoker friendly is a bonus for me! Awesome place for a girls night out.

Terrible attitude. Bar staff didn’t understand gin and tonic. Generally pretty snooty. Still, there is a pool table and TV if you like those kind of things.
