I signed up for Unilocal just to leave a review for this place. Where should I start? We were seated and greeted promptly but that’s about the only right thing about our experience.
To start, our waiter informed us that he had a special for the day — half a roasted chicken. Several people in our party ordered the «special» and what came out was one and half dry chicken breasts. When we informed our waiter that we thought we were getting a half roasted chicken; he told us that we got «a better deal». I replied that nonetheless that’s not what we ordered and he went on to say that they ran out of the roasted chicken — at noon! Why in the world would you say that was a special when you had none and why not inform your customers that you «ran out» before you put in the order!
Then they bring out the wrong order for my bother — a fish filet on a bed of greens — which was supposed to be a blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. He takes back the fish filet which was CLEARLY not Mahi Mahi and says he’ll bring out the right order. Then they bring out a sandwich with the same fish filet. When my brother calls him out on it, he’s clearly flustered and has no response.
At this point, he sees that we’re clearly not pleased with the service and offers us 20% off of the entire check. Fine, that was a good gesture on his part. THEN, he brings out the check after a ridiculous wait without the discount. Again, we call his attention to it. He then says to just take it out of the already added 18% gratuity! After requesting the manager, which apparently he was, he corrects the check after complaining about how long it’s going to take him.
At the end, the waiter was apologetic but it wasn’t the mediocre food or even the bad service but the complete deception that we couldn’t tolerate.

Food was not good at all. Silverware was dirty. And they automatically add your tip in. service was good though.

Great place for breakfast and cheaper than most hotels, come here if you don’t want to pay $ 25 for breakfast. Coffee is pretty fresh too and comes with most meals. The place received only 3 stars from me because of the service. There was a language barrier between the waiter and our table, I think he had a hard time understanding us. My order came out wrong, but they got it fixed right away. This place has great bacon. I ordered egg whites, bacon, side of potatoes and toast. It was really good. The only seating area is outside, so hopefully it isn’t raining!
