I was thoroughly disappointed by this experience. First off, they are not gluten free. When we arrived, I was all giddy and excited about the prospect of a gluten free pizza only to be told they had just struck it from the menu. So in my bummed out state I ordered the baked potato, pizza style. The potato arrived and wasn’t even cooked through. The wait staff were terrible, ignoring our table and empty glasses, not to mention sitting for 20 minutes with untouched plates with no bussing. Don’t bother going, you will only be disappointed.

MOLDONFRIEDEGGPLANTONTOPOFPIZZA. A very quiet Sunday afternoon at 3:00, the place was empty except for six servers. It took a long time to place our order. 2 of the 3 orders were served and we had to get up to get our own silverware and napkins after having asked for them. The pizza came out 10 minutes later and remained at the counter. We went to pick it up ourselves because the servers were too busy doing nothing. Moldy!!! The meals went untouched, the bill was swiftly delivered to our table(the only service we had). They kindly removed the pizza from the bill but charged us for everything else.

Live up the street and have been a few times. Extensive menu. Salads are nice and good, but this last time we ordered a Skinny Spinach pizza with a gluten-free crust for an extra $ 5 and what arrived was absolutely pitiful. The pizza was small and had a tiny bit of chopped spinach and a few pine nuts on top of a white rice crust. It was so miserable-looking(and tasting), I should have taken a photo. Service is also pretty dismal. A «thank you» or even a smile is very hard to come by.

I ate here on a Saturday night, and the food was terrible. I ordered a Chinese Chicken Salad. There is more people employeed in Beyond by Shemtov’s then there were people in the restaurant. This place is disgusting, the food is stale. It’s not clean.

Food just ok. The best thing on the menu is the falafel sandwich. Service is great considering they deal with a very difficult demographic.

Service was prompt. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Ordered the Caprese Sandwich; cheese fries and cheeseburger. Side of fries came out before our mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks didn’t have much flavor. My husband was disappointed when he learned that his«cheese burger» was really a veggie burger. One piece of my sandwich bread was burned. Eyeing the pizza the table next to us ordered… should have ordered that!

Décor is awful Had the cheeseburger which was very good. Wife had salad which was nothing special. I would give them another chance

This is my favorite place to order food from in Miami! I order paninis pizza and salads to the beach and it’s phenomenal! My favorite is the grilled portobello sandwich

One of the best service experiences out of any other kosher restaurant in the area. The waiters are very attentive and the place is well staffed. My husband and I absolutely loved the crispy«chicken» Caesar wrap, French onion soup, chili tacos, and macaroni and cheese fritters. Nothing was a disappointment! This is a great place to come with family or on a date.

If you keep kosher, this restaurant will seem wonderful. The menu has a wide selection of items– which, if you keep kosher, you will enjoy. If you don’t keep kosher, and have had non kosher cheese, real Mexican food, or a good pizza once in your life, you will not enjoy this dining experience. From what we tried, the mozzarella sticks, nachos, tacos, pizza, falafel salad, and ice cream, it was all pretty mediocre. The menu is just too big. The chefs aught to stick to a few items and do them well, instead of offering many mediocre dishes. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and the staff is professional and attentive… the food is just disappointing.

Food is good. My wife like it better than I did. Got nachos for appetizer looks awesome but only has cheddar cheese no mazzerella. The Miami Heat is super spicy. Nice ambience Great staff

Great tasting and affordable breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials with large portions. Their carrot muffins are to die for and their mac and cheese lunch special is a good size. Also recommend the olive pizza and all the paninis, but not the fettucini alfredo because it was too thick and not creamy.

Beyond Shem Tov is hit or miss. Someday the food is delicious and others not. The soups are good but tend to be on the salty side. The need to have waiter service to have pizza is outrageous. We go elsewhere for pizza

We were in Miami for a short 4 day trip. In those 4 days, my husband and I went back to Beyond for 5 meals(6 if you count the sandwich I got for the plane). The staff was always nice, friendly and fast and the food was always delicious! I’m not sure what people are complaining about when they say they were never seated… it’s a seat yourself establishment. We were always told to take a seat anywhere and that a waiter would be with us and we were always greeted with a smile. The prices were lower than the other kosher dairy restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the portobello panini, greek pizza, and definitely the portobello ravioli. If you’re in Miami Beach, you should DEF check this place out!!!

Waiter beyond rude, took over 40 minutes for everyone to get there food. I get they are open for Passover which must be hard for them but get yourself together! I still can not get over how rude and unfriendly the waiter was. Tip is included in the price so there is no reason for the wait stuff to be nice to you.

This is a very nice and friendly restaurant/café all the staff are so friendly and take care of all your needs the food is delicious they even have a froyo inside the store! They have all differant kinds of varieties of food and drinks I would for sure recommend it to anyone near here or anyone who wants good food Ps. you’ll be lucky if you met the manager one of the most kindest friendliest and most understanding people you would meet

My parents and I have a habit of eating Israeli food and pizza in every city that we visit(long story), and at Shemtov’s, we were able to have both in one sitting! I have mostly had the pizzas here, which feature a creative mixture of ingredients and a substantial, but not too thick, of a crust. Every time my parents are visiting Miami, we go and get the Greek pizza, which has a tangy mix of feta, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers and caramelized onions and the house salad(it’s enough for 4 – 5 people and worth the price). The 10′ pizzas are large enough to split between two people or to have leftovers for lunch the next day. I like to try different pizzas here and have enjoyed the Mexican pizza, a very cheesy and tangy pizza with lime sour cream and the Broccoli Garlic Cheddar pizza. Shemtov’s is a bit pricey, which is expected at a Kosher restaurant. Service is generally on point here, not overly friendly but usually competent, with the food coming out fast from the kitchen. I recommend Shemtov’s for a casual but unique dinner with family or friends.

Kosher. That being said, the food is not unreasonably priced and fairly tasty. There are great breakfast, lunch, at dinner specials at $ 4.95, $ 6.95 and $ 7.95 respectively. They recently re-did the restaurant, expanded it, and added a froyo bar. Now for the downsides. 1-you can never call ahead and place an order(or you can, but no one will bother to answer the phone) 2-the service is inconsistent(if you’re lucky you get David, but usually you just get a disgruntled waiter that tosses you a menu and some napkins and never offers to refill your drink) 3-the 15% included for ALL sparrows gratuity/service charge is a large turn off 4-on Friday afternoons, the business claims to close at four but what I have learned is the manager decides to close and any hour before then at their discretion . Tonight I had the falafel salad(two thumbs up!!!) and will be back for more.
