Interesting selection food. They are located about one block from the beach. If you know anything about South Beach you know that parking is a nightmare, but luckily there is a parking garage nearby. The staff is polite and really helpful. They took time to go over their various menus(they offer a vegan menu). I had the Dort X Jugofresh Winter bowl with two café free eggs over easy. It’s a mouthful, but s delicious one! The eggs are probably the best eggs I have ever had. The salad was filling but light. You could definitely tell they use only the best ingredients. I was impressed by their extensive menu. Everything was so appealing that I wish I could order it all. I loved the cold brew with almond milk, and wished I tried the Bulletproof coffee, but I will just have to go back!

Usd15 salad with nothing special. Really expensive for the presentation and what it has to offer

Just like the name, this review will be simple: SUPERB! Clean, delicious, and healthy food. I will admit I’ve only tried their avocado toast the two times I’ve been there, but it is incredible! The desserts are also note worthy. I particularly enjoyed the rice krispy treat!

In this farm-to-table restaurant you will find quality food with only the finest ingredients. I believe the reason they named it DIRT is because most of their menu items are plant based which essentially, comes from the DIRT! This concept is so refreshing. We needed a place like this in South Florida. This food is affordable, delicious, organic(huge plus), locally sourced, and fresh. This restaurant has a fast food fine dining type of vibe. You order and pay at the counter and they give you a number. When your food comes out it looks so good you don’t want to eat it. Luckily, when my friends and I went, there was no wait time and we waited about 10 – 15 minutes for our food. When I received my salad with fried fish I got such a happy feeling that I was eating such good quality ingredients. But when I tasted the salad it was just an explosion of flavor in my mouth. It was incredible to say the least. I was so blown away by this place. I also tried my best friends avocado toast and my goodness it was amazing. Its so crazy how something can taste so different when its organic, fresh, and local. I loved everything about this place. I have yet to try their coffee and I’m so excited to do so. Cant wait to go back

A great addition to the south of fifth neighborhood. A health food restaurant with tasteful design and food that fills you up! They could benefit from a few more hot plates or do it yourself grain/leaf + protein + veggies bowls since I find I always eat the same things there. It’s also the only place I know that serves bulletproof coffee(double barrel coffee), which is great, but lately it hasn’t been tasting fantastic. I think it’s the protein powder. Dave Asprey l(the inventor of bulletproof coffee), advises against adding protein powder since at high temperatures, protein powder becomes denatured. Wi-Fi never works for me some reason otherwise I would go there to work once a week at least. Overall, great job DIRTTEAM!

Great place to get clean, healthy food in a quick service atmosphere. Loved my linen napkin.

On vacation in Miami, we decided to go on a little health kick. The space is clean and modern, and elicits feelings of maybe a chain, but it’s not one. You basically go to the front to order and then they give you your food at your table. Easy enough. Both times we went, we arrived before the lunch menu kicked in, so we were only able to try mostly breakfast items. We had the chimayo chili bowl, acai bowl, pitaya(dragon fruit) bowl, defense smoothie, iced coffee, and the tea spring salad. Everything was really good — nothing much I can fault them on except wishing the portion on the salad and chimayo bowl was just a little bigger. Great flavor though including the iced coffee(which I rarely drink). Both the acai and dragon fruit bowls were good, though we preferred the dragon fruit bowl to the acai. If you are looking for good, local and fairly healthy food in the area that is not terribly expensive then I recommend coming here.

What an overpriced ordinary lunch. Everything about this place is «meh». Won’t go back for sure.

Good quality food with a variety of healthy options and specialized menus(vegan, paleo). I live in the neighborhood and frequent DIRT so often that the morning staff greet me by name. My personal favorites include all of the toasts(except the hummus one), the bakery items which vary day-to-day, the cauliflower curry bowl, clean bowl, and the dirt sandwich(a must). Staff is very friendly. I often use speedetab to avoid waiting in line(which can be long around noon). Dogs are allowed in the outside seating area.

Although the food is good the absurd prices leave a bad taste in my mouth. I’m all for this new movement in the food world. Organic, humane, fresh, local, vegetarian/vegan. I also understand that good, healthy food will cost more. I get it. I too, pay up for the organic products when buying groceries. But 9.50 $ for a slice of bread with avocado??? That’s where i draw the line. Even writing about it is irritating. So heres what happened. My partner and i stopped by for what we thought would be our new«go to» breakfast spot.(I agree with Jacqueline M., miami beach needs more places with this«clean concept»). I ordered the Jalisco bowl; choice of quinoa or farro, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes, red peppers scrambled eggs w salsa verde. It was full of flavor and i enjoyed it, $ 12.50 is a bit steep but in Sofi expect to pay a little more for location. My partner was feeling less adventurous and ordered the avocado toast with a side of eggs. With a straight face(15 minutes later) the waiter brings a standard white plate. On it one piece of ZTB toast with avocado smear.(look at the photo) At first, i thought they ran out of bread but when the waiter left without an explanation I was left appalled. And yes the toast is listed under small bites, but 9.50? For 9.50 $ i can make a couple dozen pieces of avocado toast. With a side of eggs for 4 $ we paid almost 14 $ for a piece of green toast and 2 eggs. Is this even legal!!! And although i heard great things about the chef, we haven’t returned. Which sucks because i really wanted to love this place. Others have posted pics with 2 pieces of avocado toast. Maybe they realized their insanity and doubled the quantity. If you know this to be true please let me know. Otherwise the hunt for the perfect breakfast spot continues.

Let me start out by saying, what a disappointment! south beach NEEDS more places to eat that are healthy but a resturant is more then just food. Especially at this price point, you want all of the components of of an enjoyable dining experience. Pros: The concept branding and name if this place are excellent. Always clean and menu has a decent variety. The taste of the food is average but clean and healthy and sourced locally. Cons: SERVICEISTERRIBLE, ABSOLUTELYNOCOMPANYCULTUREWHATSOEVER! the customer is treated like a number. The establishment has ZERO heart, it feels stale. The food is not that tasty. not bad but not amazing. Like I mentioned before, its clean and simple food, nothing to become addicted to and especially when service is such crap. example: I asked for almond milk in my smoothie and told them that I would be happy to pay for it, the manager a heavy set guy said NO flat out– «its not an additional item on the menu» umm… really? you could not have added a splash of milk in a smoothie to accommodate a customer? Im from new york city where these kinds of places are EVERYWHERE and the food is creative and delicious and service is just as important as the food if not even more. In nyc most places want to provide you with an experience. i love that. This place is not that– not at all. *****UPDATEDREVIEW***** After my review I was contacted by the owner which shows that he indeed cares about his buisness. He was both polite and professional. He explained that they are growing and learning what works for the buisness as with any buisness through trial and error. Making any changes or substitutions creates longer wait times and room for error in orders. My logical self can understand this, but I just think if the local competition can find a way to do it, why cant DIRT? He offered me to hive them another chance and I do appreciate his proactive and again professional approach. The pecan bar was very tasty and so was the burrata sandwich. Ultimately I think this place is going through growing pains and learning what works. The company culture still has to develop in my opinion and I believe that the owner does care and will get there. I do believe in eating healthy and clean and for that reason I want to see this place get it right. Famed«By Chloe» in NYC is similar in concept(healthy fast food) They have THESWEETEST&MOST welcoming staff OH&&&& substitutions are always allowed and although the line is literally outside and around the block and its like a club paaaaacked inside the resturant Ive never waited more then 15 min for my food. DIRT can do this! I have faith

I want to like this place mainly because it’s a sand wedge from my place south of 5th. When I’m in town usually once a month I come here to eat I think they are having logistical issues not real consistent with service. For example I’m getting ready to order and looking at thier menu and half of its not showing up. You have to make sure your menu is fully functional ONLINE!!! I placed a photo showing half the menu is missing!

Okay, they seriously need to bring a DIRT to New York — please, I’m begging! DIRT is a great place for people who are environmentally and health-conscious. It’s suitable food for everybody’s diet and completely seasonal and locally sourced, I believe. They have four menus for four different diets, and of course I had to try their vegan menu! If you’re not a fan of whole veggies and non-transformed food, then this may not be for you. I, on the other hand, love my veggies, especially winter squash, quinoa, zucchini, avocado, spinach, and dried cranberries, which was basically in the Dirt x Jugofresh bowl. It was super filling, as opposed to what many people think about eating veggies. Maybe it would have been nice to have some bread or something, but honestly, there was so much quinoa, it was awesome. They also have juices, teas, etc. And of course complimentary infused water! The whole place is super chic and clean as well.

I understand«organic» costs more but there is still a limit, especially with the lack of customer service/appreciation… It says organic on the menu many 6 – 7 times, am I too assume the rest is not organic? Over $ 16 for a 2 egg sandwich and shot of ginger and you want me to pay you $ 1.09 for a teaspoon of hot sauce? Typical Miami places that represents itself as «healthy» but is really just over priced/over dressed mediocre fare… Never again. Jugo Fresh kitchen please open!

DIRT was delicious. The fried fish sandwich on their own baguette was amazing, and the avocado toast was also really good. In four days in South Beach, DIRT’s espresso was the best I’ve had. There’s not a lot of space, and the food preparation isn’t very fast, but the staff was really friendly, and they make good use of the space they have. Prices aren’t great, but not out of the ordinary for the neighborhood, and I think their mix of local and organic ingredients are above average.

GREAT menu, delicious food, and friendly people. However the service is very slow, and the prices are honestly ridiculous. I’m glad I went to this place because the menu gave me ideas for things to make at home. The dragonfruit bowl was absolutely delicious. There are very few Paleo restaurants out there so it’s always nice to find one in a cool location. It’s worth checking out if you are a fan of the paleo diet and want some ideas for things to cook on that diet, however most things here are possible to make yourself and largely overpriced.

DIRT is a very welcome addition to the sobe dining scene. It fills a void you would think didn’t exist in south beach: healthy, casual, delicious food at reasonable prices. The space is modern and clean and the staff are all friendly and attentive. This is a counter service model, where you order at the register and your food comes to your table. The inside dining room is fairly small and on the chilly day when I visited, it was not sufficient to seat all of the guests. Luckily we secured a table. Grab your free cucumber mint flavored water from the bar or enjoy a nice juice, coffee, or bottled beverage while you wait for your meal. I opted for the butternut squash quinoa bowl and added an egg over easy. The meal was so good! Deliciously fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and a robust portion. I could eat this every day. I was equally impressed with my partner’s meal, specifically the crusted salmon. I’m not usually a fan of that fish, but they really cooked it perfectly and included the most amazing flavors. Two minor recommendations for improvements: quicken the wait time a bit for the food and eliminate the multiple menus(paleo, vegan, regular) in favor of one menu with asterisks or formatting tools to ensure clarity. Bottom line: best new spot in sobe for lunch or brunch!

Love the commitment to healthy food, always great to find places that have this ethos. Fits in perfectly with the healthy SOBE lifestyle. Conveniently located in the lower end of the beach near plenty of other eateries and mall type stores(not so nice). Being from nyc it’s nice to be able to sit outside although the view is terrible and it is a bit smelly. Crowd is dressed in all manner of workout gear on Sunday am. The food: I had a clean bowl: egg whites, delicious sautéed spinach and peppers, avo, sweet potatoes and turkey bacon with a fresh green salsa. Soooo good, fresh and tasty. Leon had the dirty breakfast. Scrambled Eggs, fresh made chicken sausage and baguette. Nothing to complain about. Ok, he didn’t like the sausage but I did. I would frequent this place if I lived locally.

The concept behind DIRT is exemplary: they care about the food, people and planet by giving back to SoFlo $ 1 per purchased meal. The setting is modern and clean with a small inside and outside sitting area. DIRT has become extremely popular for their natural, organic, local, seasonal, vegetarian, gluten-free fresh ingredients. For breakfast, it requires patrons to wait in line for 20 minutes to place an order and 20 minutes to get it on the table: this is not Panera. My favorite part of DIRT is that some of the menu items list the macro-nutrients; however, some items display inaccurate numbers or none at all. They definitely need to work on this. I had the savory DIRTy sandwich, which inaccurately reported to have 50g of protein. Their smoothies are 16oz and can also be supplemented with protein and seeds. However, when I asked the cashier about the grams of protein per supplement serving, she had no clue. Regardless, their defense smoothie with blueberries, pineapple, mango, acai, Thai coconut meat and coconut water was delightful. Overall, DIRT is one of the healthiest places I’ve been to. It’s overrated and needs work on the nutritional values for fitness crazies like me but highlights a unique concept worth giving a try!

I get very suspicious whenever a place have more than 10 reviews, all with 5 stars… Furthermore, when I read an article saying Dirt feature some vegan options. It was time to investigate… Dirt has a catchy name, no doubt about it. Especially for a Healthy Conscious Eatery. So, it’s Dirt, but you eat Clean? Okay… I arrived ready to digest the concept… I was lucky enough to have placed my order with Chef Nicole, and from the get go I asked her what vegan dish she would recommend. The Autumn Bowl($ 15) was her immediate response. It was simply remarkable. A bed of perfectly cooked quinoa, over roasted curried cauliflower, arugula, cucumber, pomegranate seeds, and a delicious butternut squash cashew cream, with a drizzle of olive oil. I took my time to enjoy every bite, an amazing explosion of different flavors in my mouth. They had a large selection of bottled juices. I opted for the«Nuts», since I’m always in the lookout for my source of protein: dark cocoa, cashews, vanilla bean, house-made almond & Brazil nut milk. It cost $ 11, but if you return the glass bottle, they give a $ 2 refund. Nice. Although my lunch at Dirt was over $ 30(they automatically added the tip), I felt it was totally worthy. The service its top notch and the place looks super chic… And if you come with your doggies, they immediately ask you if you want a bowl of water for them. I found that very sweet. Hopefully, Clean, I mean Dirt, will continue to be a healthy addition to SoBe.
