This place has been on my list for a while. I finally got to visit here while in Miami to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had a deal from Travelzoo, so we booked our reservations. We were charged an additional service fee once we arrived($ 13). We waited in line for our cold gear(boots, fur coat, gloves). We prepared ourselves and made it to the Ice Bar. I was surprised how small is was, I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely was expecting it to be that small. It’s the size of my living room. Despite the small size, it was still cool. We redeemed our drink tickets. The drink menu is very limited, unless you have the premium package, but it’s so cold that you’ll take anything. There were various ice sculptors and of course we had to take lots of pics. There was another group Inside and we all began temporary besties:). After a while, we went to Fire Bar. The warmth was definitely welcome. We ordered a drink and caught up on life and went about our day. Overall, this was a great experience. It’s more for the photos, but isn’t that why you go most places anyway? Lol… Would I return? Probably not, but I think everyone should try it at least once.

Hands down 5 Stars!!! Sooo lemme tell you why. To start, I went on Saturday May 21 to bring in my birthday that was on that Sunday. I’ve heard about this place and I thought it would be something cool and different to experience. Plus I prefer cold weather myself so hey why not! Before I go anywhere I checked out the reviews. They mostly were good and there were some really bad ones as well. But I was like eff it I still want to check it out^_^ Groupon had a special so me and my friends went with that. And I called Drinkhouse before hand to set a reservation and let them know that we went through with the Groupon deal(entrance to Ice bar and fur, gloves and shoes). The girl I talked to one phone further informed me that we would be changed a service fee and _________(sorry I forgot) but I was totally fine with that. I had to make a reservation online which was easy to navigate thru and make. My reservation was for 8, didn’t get there till like a little after 9(lol don’t judge me). But we got there and they were more than happy to have us there. The girl at the table to pay for your ice bar deal or whatever was super awesome. She told us about the drink deals they had and we bought them. Chloe(if I remember correctly) was the woman at the desk and she was the ^_^ So awesome and so sweet. Everyone got their furs and stuff and I was eyeing this black one. It was my birthday so they let me have it. So I was the different one. We entered and it was so cool(literally! Lol) Of course from what I heard from the reviews it was pretty small. But that didn’t stop me and my friends from turning up! We took shoots and chilled(hehe) on the ice couches and took plenty of pics. The bartender(sorry forgot his name) was excellent with the recommendation of drinks. It wasnt packed at all and talking to others was a breeze. I had such an awesome time. I do plan on going again with other friends that weren’t able to make it the first time around ^_^

Cool experience to try once and not as overly touristy as expected. Reservations are required(check for groupon deals) but then you pay around $ 60 or $ 100 for a package for 2 to enter the ice bar. The so called«fire bar» was just the main bar inside the club where people congregated before or after going into the ice bar(nothing special about it). Before entering the ice bar the staff assists you in getting heavy coats, gloves, and hats on. Once inside the 19 degree room(I lasted around 20 min). The room is filled with ice sculptures and a throne type chair(made of ice) that’s cool if your into that for pics. There is one small bar(yes, made from a slab of ice) and you are served vodka in a decent sized glass(also made of ice). It’s a good time overall and well worth trying, especially unique to have this in Miami Beach.

Went for a girlfriend’s birthday. We had a great time. The drinks were delicious, especially the one with pop rocks. There was a line to rent the gloves and coats for ice room entrance, but it moved fairly steadily. Inside the ice room there were a good number of photo ops(ice sculptures, signs, etc) and those ice cups with ice cold cocktails? were fire. overall I had a wonderful, chill, and unique experience.

The was a very first & unique experience for ME& the group of I was with. They provide you with coats, boots & gloves to enter the ice room. And trust ME it is truly an Ice Bar. Your drinks are served in a glass made totally of ice & just about everything in there is of ice including the benches that you can sit on. I actually had to step out of the freezer to warm up a bit before going back in. We didn’t get a chance to experience the fire bar but I’m sure it was just as intriguing as the ice bar. I couldn’t tell you how good the drinks were because I was too cold to taste or remember them. If you plan to visit Miami I would recommend checking this place out… at least for the experience.

Let me quickly explain my 3 stars… 1 star because in the end the concept/theory of the place makes sense. The other 2 stars is because in the end we had to laugh how ripped off we got and instead of complaining we just went with it and had fun. Got a Groupon deal for this. So the entrance, coats and gloves were paid for. When we got there we had to pay a service fee of $ 6, which is fine but wasn’t stated. They offer drink packages. So we got the $ 27 per person package which included premium vodka to choose from(a bit pricey, but hey its the experience). They charge you the package, the tax, plus the $ 6 – 7 on the groupon deal, a 18% service charge and recommend that you pay 20% tip. So after all this you’re ready to get your coat. So at this point you are beyond excited. Headed to the freezer door and then it is opened my jaw dropped! It’s the size of my master bedroom. I expected more! Like a full long bar with more things. It had 4 benches and small bar(I’ve seen people have bigger bars at home than this) and a little chandelier table décor thing. Ok so as if that wasn’t enough. The bartender comes in and we are served the worst over priced drinks in ice cups. Like it was pure, no mixing. Nothing. We made of the most of it. We also came early and it was empty because if this was full I would of been pissed and claustrophobic. I definitely don’t think this place is worth the hype or the money. But if you wanna hang in a meat locker with strangers, then check it out.

Interesting concept and memorable experience! For $ 17pp you can walk into a small, cool 23° room made of ice – sculptures, seats, walls, tabletops and the bar are all crystal clear. Even the drink«glasses» are made of ice! Reservations are recommended, but if you go early enough you can probably just walk right in. Furry coats and gloves are provided, including socks and furry boots for ladies. Drinks are separate and must be purchased in advance of going inside the ice bar. I’d rather just pay to go in the ice bar to soak in the experience and take pics, and then enjoy drinks and thaw out at the fire bar. Pricey, but somebody’s gotta pay that SOBE rent!

This was quite an experience. It was my first time hanging out in a freezer bar. We did have to make reservations before our visit here. When you arrive you start off lining up at the entry on the designated time you set your reservation. They hand you a white hooded fur coat, gloves, socks, and boots(if you’re a female without any on already). They also give each person to drink coins. Each coin is worth a complimentary drink within the ice bar. Then, we were able to get in once we were suited up. Once you’re in the ice bar, there are other folks in there mingling around who also share the same reservation. There is LED lighting and music to set the atmosphere also. This room is basically a giant freezer. They made sure they had enough ice cultures for you to take pictures with. Of course, you have to remove your gloves in order to work your camera/camera phone. Alternating exposed hands is a must. Believe me when I say, it was freezing! There is a full bar in the back corner where there is a for a coat toting bartender waiting for you. The bartender rotates out for another person every several minutes or so. This is to ensure that no one person is in the ice bar for too long. There was a menu of a few ice bar signature drinks to choose from. It was good times and worth visiting at least once. Once we had enough of this room, we left for the fire bar just outside. The fire bar just outside, but still within the building features a full bar and seating. It is a lot more dimly-litted with LED lighting with music playing in the background. The atmosphere is much different than the ice bar. We enjoyed this area also. I believe the visit here was worth going to at least once just for the experience.

What a fun idea! I got a travelzoo deal so my friend and I went to check this place out. If you’re looking to get into something totally random but enjoyable, this is it. The drinks inside of the ice bar are very basic, which is understandable but there’s a full bar in the Fire Lounge. Yes, you need tokens to drink in the ice bar but I think that’s fine since I didn’t want to have to take my gloves off to pull out cash each time I wanted a drink. The only downside with the travelzoo deal was that you’ll still be charged tax and automatic gratuity once you arrive at Drinkhouse. Other than that, the staff was REALLY friendly and helpful. The rule about re-entering the Ice Bar isn’t set in stone. I left to switch coats and everyone was really cool about it since the place wasn’t too crowded. I totally understand them sticking to it if it’s going to cause confusion when there is a crowd. I recommend this as a fun activity for anyone of any age. I believe that it turns into a 21 and over club around 10pm so if you want to bring kids, bring them early. Also, they don’t serve food so expect to eat before or after you get there.

Truth be told, I hate the cold and am one of those people that would rather be hot than cold. At Fire and Ice though they prepare you well and supply you the essentials(Boats-Socks-Fur Coat) that will attempt to help keep you thawed! When you have decided to bare the cold they make it very easy to simply go to their website and«Book the Ice Bar». This is making your reservation and showing you the different Ice Bar Packages they offer. Each package is explained and ranges from $ 17 to Enter the Ice Bar to different Drink Packages you can purchase. We went for the Premium Ice which includes your choice of Liquor blended with their pre made mixes. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and asked if we had made a reservation. I advised that we had but she could not find our reservation. I quickly showed her my confirmation email and we proceeded. You pay once you are actually there and they advise a 15 minute early arrival to get ready. They have all sorts of different colored Fur Coats and you get all snugged up before entering the Ice Room. I say Ice Room because I was a bit disappointed by the size and overall vibe inside. I pictured a lot different space being a bit bigger and more grand. Either way they have multiple Photo Ops for you to have fun with and EVERYTHINGISMADEOFICE!!! That was pretty awesome! Be Careful Setting Your Ice Glass Down! Our bartender came in and explained how our Drink Tokens work. You get to pick whatever package you settled on then choose from their Menu. This menu consist of all sweet drinks in my opinion– a let down. I did not realize that you couldn’t just pick any drink you wanted to have. White Grapefruit caught my eye and I was hoping for more of a tart than sweet flavor. This however was not the case. My second drink decision was the Orange-Mango. This one was not as sweet and better but nothing I would want again. At the time we were there our bartender told us it was a cool 18 degrees! It was definitely cold but not bone chilling. The Fur Coat really kept me warm! Make sure you get one that actually zips not clasps together! This was an issue with the guys as they were given ones that only clasps which still leaves you exposed. Ladies get Socks and Boats that are pretty cute! My toes were still freezing but the excitement and picture taking keeps your mind warm! After 30 minutes we emerged from the Freezer to a rush of warmth! Love that SoFL Air! Overall, it was a fun and a difference experience just not as I imagined it. Don’t get me wrong I think it is worth it for a first timer experience, special occasion, or group event but like everyone else says. One visit is all it takes. And really the Fire Lounge is just a long bar with a couple of couches in the back– nothing out of the ordinary about it.

Service = 4 Stars Drinks = 4 Stars Venue in itself = 4 stars Service: I was impressed at to how accommodating, and attentive the ladies at the check in counter were. We had purchased four Groupons, good for a group of four each. Alas! We all arrived at different times, and we had to enter in groups other than we had registered for. Kudos to the lady at then counter because, she cold have told us to take a hike, but she was patient enough to organize us, and let us in, and still match the groups so her books wouldn’t be messed up… you don’t see that kind of service in Miami. Drinks: I never judge drinks by their flavor, but by their alcohol content — they have to have that kick at the end — the one drink that I tasted, it did. I wish I could give a more thorough review about their drinks, but our package included champagne, which was not bad considering that it was not top shelf, but good enough to open the palate and move on to other drinks, or order another bottle. Venue: I had a blast because I was in a group. I don’t recommend this place for a date, as in a two person date — it will get boring fast. What made this experience fun were the crazy antics and crazy pictures taken in a group of 12. Overall rating 3.5. I’ll definitely go back with a group.

A group of my friends and I decided to check out this place one Saturday night. I had seen pictures online and how cool(quite literally) this place was so I couldn’t pass up the offer to join them! It takes a lot to get me into Miami no less SoBe but to get pictures in this«Ice Bar» was totally worth the trip. We purchased a package that included the jackets, gloves, a drink inside the Ice Bar and a bottle of champagne out in the fire side bar. After a bit of a traffic mess heading into Miami we arrived. A bit late but luckily for us it didn’t mess up our reservation. We got all bundled up in our awesome fuzzy white coats and gloves and headed into the ice bar. First impression aside from wow this place is freezing lol is «THISISSOAWESOME»!! Everything is ICE and I mean everything! The seats, the tables, the art work on the walls, even the glasses at the bar they serve the drinks in are all made completely out of ICE! You honestly cannot spend more than the 40min they give you inside this place because it is so cold! I will say the inside of this bar was some sort of Disney Magical kind of place because every picture we took came out amazing! No joke! I don’t know if it’s the cool fuzzy white jackets with the crazy lighting and the ice all mixed together or what but we took some of the BEST pictures inside this bar! Once we were finished we headed into the fire side of the bar to enjoy our champagne and warm up a bit. It was a pretty large group of us. We were still able to all pile in together and have some fun and share all of the thousands of pictures we took lol! I also had an old fashioned at the fire bar before we went in earlier and it was nicely made and nice and strong not watered down at all. I would definitely do this again especially for a special occasion or maybe when someone visits from out of town. It’s really a unique thing to do and when you live here in Florida it’s probably the only time you get to really enjoy a cold environment, even for just a brief period of time lol!

When I first heard about this place I just had to go. Waiting in line just to pay for the entry and drink specials took a little bit long for a Saturday, mind you it was only one person at the register. It’s $ 17 for entry which includes the fur coats and gloves, also they give women slippers with socks if you’re wearing high heels(the floors are slippery). Then it’s another $ 17 if you want to do the drink special that includes two drinks. When I went into the room I honestly thought it’ll be bigger but it was still awesome! Would I come back with more friends, absolutely yes!

My friends and I decided to check out this new place that promised a unique experience with their cold bar! Located at Collins Ave. is this venue that looked small at first look, as you come in you check in and get your fur jacket, socks and warm shoes to adventure inside their bar at a -9 °F room! Matias, our bartender was supercool getting our drinks, they have a set selection of drinks served in ice glasses! Don’t forget to wear your gloves you will not be able to hold your glass! The cold room has different ice sculptures for you to play around, take pics, be silly! Because I was with my best crew no need to say we were having a blast! We danced, danced, and danced! They had us scheduled to stay in until a certain time and we thought that they were going to ask us to leave, but they didn’t! It never got crowded the room, busy yes, but not unpleasant. After a while you want to change air and feel the heat again, and we moved to the fire side where we cheered friendship, the new year with champagne laughing and dancing! Their music selection really got me going! Will I come back? Oh yes, but I suggest you go with a good friend so you can enjoy the experience at its most! Don’t forget the pictures! They will look great and you’ll have great memories to share!

Only in Miami can you pay money to freeze your butt off. Drinkhouse is the kind of you probably only go once; you may go more than that for big group outings or when you have a friend in town who wants to try something different, but it’s not a place you go to every Saturday night and that’s quite alright. It’s a simple concept: You set up your reservation. In true Miami fashion they make it a big deal if you’re late, yet, being late caused us no issues. We were told we had until 8:40 to be in the freezer but once we got inside we stayed as long as we wanted. I’m assuming everyone does have a set time limit but more than likely everyone else was running late too so there was no issue. When you check in they give you a coat, gloves, and ladies if you’re wearing heels you get some slippers to wear. Fellas if you have heels you’ll have to do this too. You must, must, must, buy your drinks before heading in. Once you buy them you’ll be given tokens which you’ll redeem inside the freezer. The only cash inside is used as tips for the bartender. I keep saying freezer because that’s what it is. You walk in and instantly feel the cold. Supposedly it’s nine degrees inside and I believe it. Ice everywhere. I felt like an ice cream sandwich. It’s a neat place. I don’t want to call it, «cool» for obvious terrible pun reasons but it really is. It’s much smaller than you’d expect but you still can have a great time in there. A few fun places for photo ops and the music was great. Note: you cannot set your drink down. Your drink is made of ice, cup and all, so if you set it down, it’ll slide off the ice table. Ice, ice baby. Before you know it you can’t feel your fingers and your nose won’t stop running and it’s time to sit at the fire lounge. The fire side is nice too. Lots of geo rocks and cozy. The service is great too. Very loungy and relaxed. Obviously you come here for the ice and spend less time at the fire side. You spend your time freezing and hang out at the second bar until you’re warm– then you move on to your next bar. Do it at least once. You’ll have a great time, great pictures and an experience you won’t forget.

Ok, duh, this place is totally gimmicky and you probably don’t need to come here more than once(although after your friends see your pictures they will all beg you to take them) but really, the pictures are totally worth 5 stars and well worth the money(we had a groupon so it was really affordable!). HOWITWORKS — Fire and Ice is just that, 2 bars in one, one ICE room kept below freezing that you enter first, and one FIRE room which was still a bit cold for me lol, but allows you to enjoy a cocktail afterwards while you warm up. They do allow walk-ins but really you want to make a reservation to come here. They checked our names outside before even letting us in to the building. After checking in you will be given your drink tokens for whatever drink package you choose(again we had a groupon which worked out to about $ 25 pp which got us 4 entry fees, 4 drink tokens and a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy in the Fire Bar), and given coats, socks, gloves and booties. Will note here that most of the booties are a bit grandma like, but somehow I got the cute sexy ones and everyone was jealous lol. The ICE Bar is essentially a giant freezer, quite small, but they do limit the amount of people inside at once. They seem to want to keep people on a ~40minute time allowance which keeps the flow of people just right. We stayed the full 40 minutes but 30 is probably more ideal, my poor toes were frozen! The room itself consists of some ice sculptures, some ice benches, the ice bar and some gimmicky ice shot luges(yes we did the ice boob luge lol). Drink options were mostly vodka based mixed drinks but luckily the bartender had some coconut rum and I was able to get that! And yes, the cups are made of ice! Back to the shot situation, we showed the bartender our Free Shot Unilocal Check In offer, which kind of sounded like we would only be able to redeem it at the Fire Bar, but the bartender was happy to oblige and thus we ended up drinking some more coconut rum from ice boobs lol… yes we had a lot of fun here! Soon after we headed outside to the Fire Bar to redeem our bottle of Prosecco. They showed us to a large couch area that ended up fitting our entire group of 13. The bottle girls brought our bottle over and served us, so really this was high class ballin’ on a budget lol and we all felt a little bit fancy: P Overall, it was a great night! Every staff member I came into contact with was friendly and welcoming(not necessarily the norm for SoBe) and we all enjoyed ourselves. Not anywhere I need to rush back to, but a definite must for someone who hasn’t done an ICE bar before!

How can you resist the chance to get fun pictures in a freezer? In this era of social media, those pictures are everything! For Fire & Ice, go online and make a reservation. They have the ice bar and the fire bar. My friends and I booked both. This package includes 2 drinks in the ice bar, and 1 in the fire bar. The Ice bar is 23 degrees freezing! To prepare you, they supply coats, hats, gloves, socks and slippers. At first I was a little disappointed they made me use the socks(ruining my outfit) but after 2 minutes inside the ice bar I was so grateful. In fact I wanted to ask for another pair. The bar is small, hence why they take reservations(they do accept«walk-ins» as well), but is so much fun and has some cute and cool ice sculptures like chairs, and palm trees to get those great picture you’ll later post on your IG(I did!) ;p The bartenders are really nice and friendly, and ready to take as many pictures as you need — that way you don’t have to take the gloves off and freeze your pretty little fingers while trying to get that perfect shot. Talking about shots… the bar has several drinks on the menu(served in ice glasses), most of them too sweet for my taste but, the Dante’s Inferno was just perfect for me. It has jalapeño in it, giving it the oh-so needed kick to help you warm up, even if it’s just one degree. If you want to make some changes to the drinks on the menu they are happy to do so. Once you are done in there, you go back to the Fire Bar where they have a full bar and a warmer atmosphere for you to enjoy drinks and look at all the pics you took in the ice bar. Their drinks are strong and the bartender enjoys making them. I got the chance to see him make one with a broiled marshmallow that was very entertaining to watch. This is definitely a fun place to go with friends, and one I recommend to go(at least once). I’m already making plans to go again.

A 23 degree bar where the drink glasses are made of ICE?! Count me in! A couple friends invited us to try out a spot we had only heard of before in central Florida and then heard a location in south beach had opened; so naturally we were super excited to stretch our legs and walk a little once we found good, affordable parking by Lincoln Road Mall. Drink House Fire and Ice looks somewhat inconspicuous from the outside and even once you step in to the«Fire» bar area, which really is not«hot» to temperature at all, is well made up and super swanky in and of itself. Of course the big allure I am sure for many would be the«Ice» portion, where, once you bundle up with a white puffy coat, gloves, boots if you are not in good shoes, and a pullover hat, you enter into what looks and truly feels like a meat freezer. It is anything but that of course. It is as if stepping into a winter wonderland oasis, right in south beach! At 23 degrees, so they say, this is the«coolest» place on Miami Beach. I cannot imagine the cost to run that freezer 24⁄7! We had a cranberry/vodka type of drink with a fancy name they gave, and the five or six options they mix up all sounded good. I loved how the mixed drinks were served in a small round glass molded directly and only from H2O into ice! After about 10 – 15 minutes, we were all seriously cold and ready to get the heck out of the freezer though and so went to the«fire» side and enjoyed another drink while we chat and warmed up a bit. Another great night out and surely something very different! Great fun!

This is a one and done kind of place. We sat in the fire room for awhile. There is a tv screen with a fireplace displayed on it. Would have been neater if there was a real fireplace. It is a narrow bar area with couches in the back. The bar seats about 20 people. The bartenders are skilled in what they do and have the Tom Cruise Cocktail style show to present to you as they mix your drink. The old fashion was served in a smoked glass with the large square ice cube. Drinks are expensive which is common in South Beach, but at least they are creative and the bartenders perform a little as they mix the drink. $ 8 beer $ 14 glass of wine $ 15 – 26 mixed drink The ice room is $ 17 to enter and includes the coat, gloves, and hat. Drinks are extra. There are ice seats inside. We lasted about 10 minutes… enough for some pictures and then it was too cold. It is kept at 23 degrees. There is a bar inside the ice room, but no one was attending it since it was just the two of us in the ice bar at that time and we didn’t pay the extra for the two drinks. Overall, it was neat to checkout, but I won’t be returning. There is street parking nearby or a garage on Washington and 15th.
