We’re from L. A. and it aint L. A. — what a great outdoor spot — breezy with a whole aviary of birds singing — Sangria is great on a warm summer night. People watching and waiting for the AIA convention to start. Am. Institute of Architects that is.

I am at 920 Lincoln right now. This is no longer Eno wine bar, but a steak place called 920 Grille. We are seated outside awaiting service. So far the staff is nice :)

I met some family from out of town here this afternoon for lunch.(I obviously did not pick the place). This place has something for everyone. They have a little bit of everything. The food is mediocre. The service, slow but it’s Lincoln Road so enjoy the people watching. If you have kids, this is a great place — they have big spacious tables/chairs… a very eclectic menu

Great intimate little spot. Be warned, if you’re not looking for it, you WILL miss it. You can try fabulous wines for a great price. You give your CC to get a Dave & Buster’s type playcard, and taste away! 1, 3, or 5 Oz glasses of sexyness. Enjoy!

Waste of time, waste of money, waste of calories. The food tastes old and has a funny smell, like the spinach on my pizza tastes a few weeks past their due date. My dinner companions also felt the same with their salad and pizza. Service is snail pace and confused, and they don’t give change if you want to pay cash. Really? How is this business still running? There are plenty of cool, decent places to drink and eat on Lincoln Road, I suggest you visit those other places instead.

Two words: keep walking! Enjoying a nice outdoor dinner with friends seemed like a great idea, until everything that could go wrong, went wrong. My friend and pursued the enticing menu options, and finally decided on the chicken BLTA sandwich. The waiter returned 10 – 15 minutes later informing us that they didn’t have ANY chicken. Really? No chicken? Bewildered, we found a few pizza choices that looked appetizing and quickly changed our order. When our food finally arrived, we were extremely underwhelmed. My prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, and arugula pizza was served lukewarm, the ingredients were not fresh, and the tomatoes had a soapy, artificial taste. My friends found the spinach in the salad and on the pizza to taste slightly old. The service was also disappointing. As we were figuring out how to split the check, we asked our waiter if they had change for a $ 20 and he proceeded to tell us they didn’t have any change. Accommodating the restaurant’s lack of change, we split our bill via credit cards, writing down the amount we wanted charged on each card. After another prolonged wait, the waiter returned to our table to let us know that he was not able to put arbitrary charges on each card. I understand that splitting the check can be a hassle, but I haven’t dined at a restaurant that wasn’t able to fulfill this request. We were finally able to receive separate bills, and by that time, we were ready to peace out. Maybe we dined at Eno on an off night, but we had a very poor dining experience. The atmosphere has potential, but the service and food were sub-par at best.

I like Eno’s and my roommate and I go here pretty regularly. The food is very decent and they have a good wine selection, and you get a little plate of complimentary tapas when you order wine. I haven’t had any of the entrees but all of the tapas are good and fresh– I wouldn’t hesitate to order the carpaccios or other raw items. I would probably give it four stars if the service was better! We have been known to sit there and literally have to flag down a server to get their attention or they just keep walking by you and ignoring you. Luckily the place is small so it’s not that hard to get someone’s attention. Also they aren’t too helpful if you have a question about which wine to order. But we still go here frequently, the food is decent and it’s close to where we live. So if you are on Lincoln and looking for a cute wine bar with tapas and appetizers I do recommend!

A few coworkers and I visited Enos with a gift certificate. We figured the gift certificate and the $ 4 house wine deal were a perfect way to treat ourselves after a long day to some inexpensive apps and drinks on a Tuesday night. The hummus and white fish spread were delicious. The mixed platter was tasty as well but very overpriced – as was the wine sampling bar that one member of our crew splurged on. There was one flighty waitress who seemed overwhelmed and not able to successfully serve the entire bar and outdoor seating area. Overall a nothing-more-than average experience… until we received the bill. We had been charged $ 9 per glass for the house wine that was advertised at $ 4 per glass. We flagged down the waitress and asked if there was an error in the prices for the house wine. The waitress explained that the $ 4 pricing was for the«SPECIAL house wine» and we had only asked for the«house wine.» Um, seriously? We had mentioned the amazingly low per glass price when ordering and weren’t informed that we needed to use the word«special» when ordering the house wine. After much complaining, the owner gave us 10% off our bill(which didn’t even cover the cost of one of the $ 9 glasses of wine). Nice gesture, but not sufficient. There are plenty of places to enjoy good(and overpriced) wine on SoBe and Enos will be last on my list to visit after getting fooled by their false advertising!

I feel bad giving a place a low rating, especially if I had a nice time with friends while I was there and the staff was friendly. However, this time I feel I must. Eno’s was my Friday evening stop with a couple of friends to start my weekend. I mean, nothing like wine right? I had gone previously and enjoyed their variety(though as Paul said, smaller compared to Cava’s) of wines. Well, for starters, they took out one of the walls of sampling machines and replaced it with a full service bar and added cocktails, along with bar bites. I was in the mood for wine, so I stuck to ordering a glass of chardonnay. Still, it did take a while to order said glass. With my friends(3 people) being the largest group in a pretty empty space, you’d think I wouldn’t have to work too hard right? Still, the wine was nicely chilled and crisp, and the young lady chatting with me was good looking. This would have made for just docking one star, right? Since I had gone to the gym today, I was going to be healthy and order just the caprese salad. Simple dish — slices of mozarella, tomato and a basil sprinkle, balsamic vinegar to taste. Yes, it did taste good, the ingredients were fresh. But, even though I don’t know how to cook, think I can make said dish in a little less than 30 minutes unless I was going to Immokalee to pick up the tomatoes. That, and I had to ask for bread that supposedly was served with the wine. My friends were getting ready to leave while I was still waiting for said salad. Oh, and in case you were wondering, they did have the dreaded automatic tip(16%) added to the bill. I’m a fan of wine and hope that tonight was just an off night with these guys. However, reading the other reviews I’m not top sure. Do hope they improve though!

All you need to know is HALFOFFMONDAYSANDTUESDAYS. So that half pour of your favorite French you thought was $ 8 is actually $ 4! There aren’t many wine bars on South Beach so I was happy this one opened up on Lincoln Road. They get a good crowd on the weekends and all serve pretty decent tapas. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I also just heard that they are doing wine tasting classes that are selling out!

The décor and Lincoln Rd. setting are about the only good pros to this locale. My friend and I strolled in one afternoon to give it a shot. Tasting a variety of wines and sitting outside was nice, overpriced, but such is life for these kinds of small luxuries. I agree with Lourdes W’s review that the commodity wears off real quickly when the ounces are overpriced. The real kicker was when the Waiter confused our tabs! His English was very limited and we basically had to sign that there was a confusion in tabs. Then he proceeded to void them and re issue us our corresponding tabs. We thought all was done and felt sorry for the poor soul. He was trying his best. We could see the manager chewing off his head for making the mistake. We checked our billing statement and to our surprise WEWEREBOTHCHARGEDFORBOTHTABS! Not only was the first tab not voided but they charged us twice! What a mix-up! My friend and I are paying double and ENOS came out like a bandit! We are really upset and are in the process of contacting our credit cards to dispute the issue. Mistakes happen but get it together… seriously!

I thought this a attractive little wine bar was cool and innovative. I had never seen wine vending machines before and the décor inside was really nice. I sat outside with a group of friends for a light meal, wine and chat. I didn’t do the tasting at the machines. I just order a glass of Cabernet, and a tomato mozzarella salad which was tasteless(no luck with the food in SoBe). I would recommend it as a place to sit outside and people watch on the busy Lincoln Road stretch. Perhaps on my next visit I would do the tasting.

If it wasn’t for Eno’s ability to accommodate my friend’s birthday party outside under the lights of Lincoln Road, I would hardly say the service was good. I understand the concept behind these wine bars: get a card, push it in, and voilà…out comes an ounce or more of wine. I like it because you get to sample a variety. Cavas did this for me on my last Birthday. However, the commodity of such a concept wears off when the ounces are over-priced. As a result, I ended up ordering two bottles which were reasonably priced for sparkling wine. Knowing that it was a big group, I decided to go inside to place the order. This process took 20 minutes when my friend and I were the only ones at the bar. Why, you ask? Because the server was fighting with her boyfriend, ringing up one person while serving another and was literally all over the place when there was no need for her to be. Rarely, do I ever feel rudely treated, but this was one of the exceptions. Regardless, I tipped her extra, expecting to get my bottle delivered to the table within a few minutes. Nope. This took another 20 minutes. I was over it and refused to buy anything else from here. I just walked 3 doors down to Polar Bar and proceeded to order drinks from there. It’s such a shame that Eno’s didn’t deliver considering its Lincoln Road locale. Luckily, I was in the midst of good company and it really didn’t matter.

Someone suggested this place after they read my review for Cavas in Sunset place. I went to their website and as I pursued their wine selection my eyes stopped dead on Bianchi Cabernet Sauvignon. Seeing as how that is my last name I was excited and just had to come. Upon entering I was immediately disappointed. This wasn’t a traditional wine bar like I had initially thought, rather, this place had to same set up as Cavas’ where you insert a card and have your wine dispensed from a machine automatically. I shrugged off that frown and looked at their bottles on display. I didn’t find the Bianchi so I went to the counter and asked where it was. At first they had no idea what I was talking about until I told them it was listed on their website. A gentleman sitting at the bar then told me that they try to rotate their selection on a regular basis and that they probably had it at one point but not anymore. He also went on by saying that their website was a bit outdated and needed to be revamped. Overall, what’s not to like? You have a good selection of wines that you can sample. You can grab a new glass hanging off the wall every time you try a new wine and just leave the dirty one on the table. Once you’ve chosen your wine, you can go sit outside and people watch as you sip. The best part about Enos? You’re on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach! Enjoy the sights and sounds and drink up.

Meh. I visited Cavas on Espanola Way a few times before it closed, and though Eno’s is a similar concept, it pales in comparison IMO. Where Cavas always had a small card above each bottle of wine which explained a bit about it, where it was from, a little about the taste and bouquet, etc. there were no labels or cards for any of the wines here at Eno’s. Basically the only information you could gather was by looking at the front label on the bottle(which tells you very little, if anything), and the price per pour. At no point during the 45 minutes that our party of 3 spent here sampling and comparing different wines did any of the staff approach us to simply ask if we needed any assistance, information or recommendations. When my friend selected a one ounce pour of a particular wine and only got several drops since the bottle had gone empty(which was bad form in itself), he informed the staff. The attendant opened a new bottle, installed it in the machine and walked away, but never bothered to thank my friend or offer him a fresh sample. They sell bottles of all of the wines they have available for tasting, but one wine that I was interested in had a very big markup here. I was quoted nearly $ 40/bottle, then later did a Google search and found the same bottle at several wine stores for about $ 17. One would expect that kind of markup at a restaurant, but not at this place. The tasting process itself was relatively simple — they hold your credit card and give you a charging card with a $ 200 limit in exchange — but when returning our cards and settling the bill once we were done tasting, the process took a while, certainly much longer than it should’ve. The gentleman who was cashing us out kept stopping in the middle of the checkout process to chat with one of the servers, then with the chef. There were 3 of us trying to settle our tabs and check out, and it took several minutes to get through that. As other reviewers have mentioned, the interior décor at Eno’s is well done and tasteful aside from the chandelier-looking light fixtures that are a bit tacky.

This is the first bar I’ve been to in Miami Beach that made me want to go back. It’s not just because they’ve successfully eliminated any fretting about slow or aggressive service, but also because they’ve created a fun, low-key space conducive to sampling lots of wine. You get a card from the counter which lets you buy wine from any of the several dozen auto-spigots, by the ounce, 3 ounces, or 5 ounces. I especially like the 1-oz size since it lets you taste a broad variety of things. Isn’t that one of the points of going to a wine bar with a broad selection of interesting stuff rather than snagging a bottle at the grocery store and popping it open on your porch?

After dinner decided to come here, always wanting to check it out. Well, must say I was dissappointed. I am giving it one star due to how cute it is, nice décor inside, cute little quaint tables outside. This is solely based on the wine experience. I thought it was to small, selection of wines were not impressive. When I was opening up a tab, I asked the guy where the Cabernet section was, and he said«oh we don’t have any» WT Heck, are you kidding me!!! What kind of wine bar does not have Cabernet??? So tried two different Pinot Noir’s 3 oz. pours. Way, way, way overpriced…$ 26 with 18% grat on my bill… For what, I did all the work… Can’t really comment on the service because all the guy did was charge me and hand me two glasses. Wow, the wine selection not impressive at all, and way overpriced for the kind of juice your drinking… Tourist trap for sure!!!

Monday night is Ladies Night — 2 for the price of 1. That means purchase $ 10 worth of wine on your card, but drink for $ 20. Salud, Cheers, and Prost to that! But seriously, don’t eat here. I ordered cheese for $ 10 and literally got 5 thin slices. What a disappointment. Stick to the wine, and go on monday nights to fill up your card.

If Kathy Griffin’s mother could design paradise, this would be it. An entire bar dedicated to vending wine machines. The vibe is very modern, chic and warm. You can try 1, 3, or 5 ounce samples of various wines that are lined around the room in airtight chambers. I suppose it’s like a buffet of wine, complete with a glass sneezeguard-like enclosure. We split a foie gras, which was highly disappointing, but the overall experience was fun. I’d go here for a cute first date because you’ll never have awkward moments of silence since there’s much to try, taste and explore.

The video game arcade of wine shops. Buy a $ 20 debit card, walk around all the wine displays — then pick one based on one of the below tried and true methods: — great score you read about in your latest copy of Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Fancy, Wine Ott — previous great experience with vineyard, varietal, region — great recommendation from friend, sommelier, fellow-customer or — pretty label(my choice, usually) no matter the technique, stick your card in, select 1, 3, or 5 oz portion, do that swirly thing in the glass, a little more swirl in the mouth, then spit it out except that last part — that takes it a little far. drink it kiddo — and be happy that if you accidentally took 1 oz of Reisling on a dare, you can move on to something with more body in 5 minutes flat (wow — sounds like a pick up line I used to use)
