An amazing store with amazing gifts. I’ve never seen anything like it.

The worst customer service.
I’ve heard horror stories about customer service in Miami. And last night I had the bad fortune to experience it for myself. I’d read so much about ETC in various publications and media outlets. I was excited when I spotted the shop across the street and wanted to go see it for myself.
I was unpleasantly surprised with a dose of Arctic cold customer service. There was no greeting, no offer of help, no conversation, no interest in making someone feel welcomed.
I understand everyone has bad days but then maybe if the sales person is having a bad night that prevents him or her from having common courtesy and providing minimal assistance then call it a night and close early.
For what it’s worth the shop is lovely. The vintage watches are very nice. The home accents and décor are charming. I can see why so many editors have rewarded the shop with high praise. There is obviously time and thought put into the space.
If only that much effort was put into customer service…
