Express

I ordered a large # of items for a trip I’m taking in less than a week, but my order was in April and one of the more foolish things I’ve ever done (very unlike my Virgo anal self) is that I threw away the receipt. I wanted to return some items and made sure it was OK with the 1 – 800 # on my credit card; without the receipt they said I could only make returns for something of greater or equal value, no cash back — OK, I understand. But when I went to the snobby little emporium on Lincoln Road where I was treated like trash I was also told that I could only return ONE item — so I felt chastened and left disgusted. There are better fun fashionable clothing outlets — ditch this one as I know I will be once my card is paid off. Rude f**kers…

I propose that as a nation, we standardize which side of clothing stores is designated as the male section and which is the female section, to eliminate having some people *cough*me*cough* look like an idiot when they walk in and start perusing the clothes, only to find out that the section they are in is for the opposite sex! C’mon ‘Murica, we need this. Let’s just make the right side, men’s and left women’s. So when I walk in and go «wow! this is a cool style for this pair of jeans, let me find my size!» I don’t have to count up to size 32 from size ‘0’ (BTW, size 0?! really? Marketing really needs to stroke that ego?) and be hit with the reality that this is the sans-​pen1s section!
Alright… I digressed again. What was I reviewing? Oh yeah, Express. Express is trendy, chic and is my go-​to-​place for that classic look with the modern touch. They have a great selection of styles and colors, and everything from the casual of jeans and t-​shirts to slim-​fit suits, ties and vests. In my opinion, if you have to wear dress shirts, the Express’ MX line is second to none; the right material, colors, hem-​lines and just enough stretch in the material to fit perfectly without hanging over and making you look like a slob. Andy Warhol said that fashion is a term for something so ugly that it needs to be changed every 3 months… For that reason, Express’ focus on classic colors and styles with modern cuts is appreciated. Think more Justin Timberlake and less Justin Bieber; more class, less [jack] ass!
And the staff at this location tends to give good advice and service, which is always appreciated if you are curious whether that polka-​dot tie goes with the plaid jacket (pro-​tip — it doesn’t). Oh, and if you’re a dude, forget any jean with the word ‘skinny’ in them. Trust me. You don’t look good in it, so put it back. Yes, even you. I SAID NO!
They say clothes make a man, which is why naked people rarely have much influence in our society. So whether you like to shop or not, since you have to cover your body anyway, may as well hit up Express and find something that fits, will be in style longer than a few weeks and looks good without breaking the budget. Now, remember that here, the men’s section is on the right (this week, at least!)

Thank goodness for Express on Lincoln Road though their store is slightly… again slightly smaller than a large Express store. It has a good variety of clothes in stock for men. But if you like a bigger selection of men’s clothes then go to Dolphin Mall or Aventura Mall. The staff is professional and friendly! I love Express!

The guys working in the dressing room are very helpful in finding you the correct size if you need it. The store is also very clean and has a great clearance/​sale rack!

I really liked this Express. The staff is super nice and helpful, great selection of clothes casual and dress. Awesome accessory selection too. Got a clutch on clearance for $ 8!

God, I love this store. I hadn’t stopped into this location, so on the way home from happy hour, I dove right in — and of course spent much more than I intended. :)
Staff was super friendly and helpful. They got me a fitting room ASAP and were very attentive. They have an amazing sale section in the back (probably where I should have stayed), and tons of cute merchandise in general.
My favorite chain, by far. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m on the beach.

Right now express has a 5-​day sell. Back home I always liked getting a few clothing articles here and there so my boyfriend and I walked into the store after seeing «Just go wit it» at the movie theater not too far from the store. It opened a few months ago and the location is great. I recommend this express to anyone of small sizes. By boyfriend is a tall guy and it was hard finding his size in this store. Walked out with nothing. We asked for help finding his size. The people were very helpful looking in the back to see if there were more of the jeans and button ups he liked. We only saw one pair of jeans that would fit him… but we came in the store for a particular shade of color and they didn’t have it. The people said the bigger sizes are no longer sold in that store … any plus sizes would have to be bought online. But that is such an inconvenience plus having to wait days and pay for shipping when there is a store right down the street from our house.

This is a fairly large store, with super sweet sales people. They have a lot of cute tops for reasonable prices. Unfortunately for me, the clothes from Express just don’t fit me right. I can go to the changing room with 50 items and I’m lucky if I leave purchasing one item. The store is fairly well organized and they have a large sale section in the back. The only other thing that weirds me out a bit is that sometimes the price of a shirt in one color is more expensive than the same shirt in a different color. Totally strange, so look carefully if you are a conscientious shopper. The sales people were great, that’s why I’m giving them 4 stars even though I never have much luck here.

Woah, yes finally an Express on Lincoln Rd. what a great addition. Good size, with end of season box sale going on right now. If you have patience digging through all the boxes you can find some really good deals. This new store was a little messy but probably due to end of holiday so we can overlook it. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful.
As we looked around we found a couple of items on sale which made our shopping trip a good one. I do really like the quality of their clothes and for the most part they do a great job with all the latest trends. Now some seasons are better than others, depending on your style.
I also noticed their accessories keep improving over time. They had some really cute handbags and jewelry. The men’s department had some nice looking clothing for a thin man. I find most of their styles are cut for slender men so sad I can not find items for my hubby here because they have some nice colors and styles.
Very happy this new store is here and I will continue to shop at this location.
