This was our go-to restaurant for years. We loved it. We went recently and found the food really mediocre. It just wasn’t as fresh or consistent as it was t also took really long time to get the entrees. It will be a long time before we go back again.

Excellent food and service. We had the sea bass and hog snapper. Both were outstanding and the service was very attentive.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the heat seafood places in Miami. As a local I have become accustomed to seafood but they have found a way to stand out. The flavor of the food is so rich and the service was great. 10 stars.

First time and not my last time; will return the next time I visit Miami. We Ordered catch of the day(Snapper), Mix Ceviche, and Calamari. Great service and definitely a hidden gem in Miami!!!

Overpriced and overrated. We sat inside next to a couple who looked miserable and didn’t say a word to each other. They didn’t even touch their food! Lol not that it matters but I wanted to share that being out feeling that miserable us contagious. Stay at home and don’t dampen the mood for others! We spent $ 175 on 3 soups, 1 ceviche and a fried snapper. WTF?! The ceviche was weird. Super Limey and salty. Not sure what fish they used but it was more like a fish tartar. $ 20 for a tiny portion! The soups– the scallops were overcooked, so was the lobster. The soup had good flavor but I just didn’t think there was anything special about it. My fish, was a little salty, but was tastey. Came with side of veggies, two zucchinis, two asparagus a lot of mushrooms. If you ask me, for $ 35 I think the sides can be more generous not to mention pair well. Overall it was overpriced, salty, and needs a complete revamp. Ps: they treated us to a complementary flan. I know they care but I think the menu needs help.

I had a really pleasant experience at fifis with my family and I. We all ordered from the lunch special menu and it didn’t disappoint. Fish ceviche is amazing!!! The fish is cut into big cubes rather than thin slices, making the dish take on a whole new character My girlfriend had the tuna salad app with was fresh and had the perfect balance of Soy and sesame oil. For an entrée I had the fried fish fillet with beans and rice, and my girlfriend had the fried rice. My fish was light, flaky and delicious. The rice was also great. Servers are nice and food comes at a relaxed pace. Don’t expect a quick lunch! Great seafood at fifis.

We stopped here after reading the reviews and it was a great choice. Lunch ends at 4:30 so we got there at 3:00 and got fish ceviche for an appetizer, a steak with vegetables, and a Fifi’s filet with potatoes. Both meals came with bread and a nice little side salad with what tasted like a soy ginger dressing. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

An unexpected meal in a «commercial» south beach joint! Great lobster raviolis and new york strip and homemade potatoe chips, great ending to a sunday evening!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Fifi’s. We had the shrimp tempura & calamari as apps, both were very good. The white sangria was very tasty. As our meals we had the stone crabs, they ran out of large ones, so we ordered the medium size ones. Like most places in Miami Beach area that sell these crabs, they were great! Service wasn’t as great as I hoped, but definitely not bad. Our waiter was a bit forgetful. I recommend Fifi’s for a nice seafood dinner out!

Fifi’s is still delivering the best fresh seafood around. Their langonistos are delish as well as lobster. Lobster and prawns spaghetti is great.

Everything was excellent from the food to the service. Sat outside in the nice breeze with a heat lamp to keep warm. Oysters, lobster bisque(real deal with big lobster chunks in it) and Spicy Shrimp Tempura were so fresh and delicious! I will be back very soon!

Best tuna tacos! All their food is delicious. A little pricy though. Friends took us there a couple of years ago and we have returned so many times. We take our friends from abroad there and we never had a bad meal. They are consistent. The service is good too. The décor a little dated…

Fifi’s is one of my go to places when vacationing in Miami. The hog snapper is my favorite dish. It is always fresh and you can even pick out your own fish. I always get it grilled but you can get it steamed, baked, or a mixture of grilled and steamed. The salads are also great, my personal favorite is a Caesar salad. The stone crab is very fresh as well. My favorite drink is the lemonade. It’s the best lemonade around in my opinion. All in all Fifi’s is an excellent restutant that will not dissapoint if you love seafood.

Excellent place, excellent service, excellent food. One of the best in this area. My server Anna was so nice and attentive. She spent time with me, talking about the food, recommended and explore the menu. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the service at the highest level!

This place is located in Collins Ave and has several parking spaces just half a block down. The place is cozy, and has an average service. This could improve a notch… Food is quite good, my wife had the hogfish that was very nice, fresh and tasty… Well cooked and beautifully presented. It came with some vegetables even though not all were fresh… I had the Chilean sea bass which was good but missing some taste. They do come with a small house salad before the fish which was nice. As I said, service could improve, the place is clean and I will come back!

We went here for Miami Spice and it was excellent! I had some sort of Shrimp Appetizer, Lobster Ravioli and Chocolate Mousse. I think one of the things I like best about this place is they do not charge outrageous prices for sodas or drinks. It makes the meal more enjoyable when it doesn’t feel like you are being ripped off. Our waiter for excellent as well. Our 1st waitress didn’t really speak English, but when I told them I have food allergies and must speak with someone who knows English, they obliged. Also used the bathroom which was modern and very clean. Excellent! We were a little put off with the fish aroma when we 1st entered, but I’m glad I stayed because we had an excellent meal and the ambience was good too!!! Thanks!!!

First stop on the Miami Spice train brought me to Fifi’s Place for lunch. I was excited by their MS menu and philosophy of fresh food. I loved how they included the story about the owner and the diver on their website, which made the restaurant more personable. Walking in, my 2 guests and I were given an option of where we wanted to sit. We decided on the table next to the wine cabinet(to admire the view, of course) and the curtain room partition. The décor of the restaurant was exceptional; there was canvas hanging from the ceiling which resembled sails/waves, the partition was airy and looked like it belonged, the art on the walls added to the atmosphere and the dining area was comfortable. Now, the food. The waitress hadn’t given us 5 minutes to look over the menu before she wanted to know what our choices for all 3 courses of MS were. This made me feel incredibly rushed, as if this was an in-and-out diner dash deal. My meal began with the tuna tacos. Oh, I’m sorry, did I write the plural form of taco? Yeah you only get one with MS(usually 3 with the regular menu) and it’s about the size of my thumb. The flavors were actually amazing which makes me disappointed that I had so little of it. My fellow patrons saw how sad and hungry I still was after my 2 bite«taco» and offered me some of their apps: fried calamari(eh) and ceviche(good, but I’ve had better). The waiters offered a small house salad and bread which staved off our hunger. My main course was the lobster ravioli which was AMAZING! Perfect amount of meat inside the pasta and also served with a full lobster tail. It was creamy(tasted like ala vodka sauce) with a delicate sweetness from the lobster.(Fifi’s versus Prohibition’s Lobster Ravioli, Fifi’s wins without a doubt). However, the two other people with me ordered the catch of the day, the Hog Snapper. It was presented as a whole fried fish with the fillets on the side of the plate. Each of them got one of the two fillets which were laughably small, about 3 – 4 bites, and were served with bland rice and beans. This made me wonder if only one of them ordered the fish, would that person have gotten both fillets? The meal ended with dessert: flan(amazing but half the size of the normal portion), tiramisu(delicious, served in something the size of a shot glass) and passionfruit mousse(not my taste, also served in shot glass). Fifi’s Place doesn’t treat MS guests the same as regular patrons which has put me off to their restaurant. The too-quick service, smaller-than-normal portions, inconsistent quality of food, and my distance from north beach makes my return unlikely. If I was closer, I would probably come back for the lobster ravioli and homemade flan.

Came here for dinner with a small group, and I had slightly mixed feelings about the food. But the service was excellent, and overall we had a great experience. Recommended: –lobster bisque: delicious, but very rich. This is something I would share. –mango tuna roll: a must try –oysters: very fresh –flan: one of the best I’ve had Not recommended: –crab claws: overly salty, butter sauce was very overwhelming as well. –tuna tartare: sweet, not very appetizing

A great location in Miami somewhat near the ocean. Although the restaurant was not busy on this Wednesday evening, the party of three I was with waited over an hour for our entrées. During the one hour period we waited, we didn’t see our waiter once. I personally ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was unbelievably sub par. One of my friends ordered the Paradilla(squid) which not only was the wrong order but made him sick. He would have sent the food back and reordered but we didn’t have an hour longer to wait. My other friend with me ordered shrimp. Literally, no joke, there were 5 medium/small shrimp. This place is a waste of time and money. There are plenty of better options for fresh in Miami.
