Great place to snack after the beach. My husband and I have been here twice and was pleased each time. This is nothing fancy but the food is good and prices reasonable. The lady behind the counter greeted us with a warm smile and even the cooks were cordial. Food didn’t take long, ingredients fresh and outside sitting very convenient if u have bikes like we do. Just a nice place for a quick bite after the beach.

Poor sevice! I ask for a delivery and the lady sent my order incomplete. Who eat sushi without soy sauce? When I called back the lady asking about the soy sauce that obviously she forgot, she told me that I need to pay again another delivery charge for the sauce and it will be in my place in ONEHOUR. She doesn’t know nothing about customer service and also her behavior was horrible. If she forgot to put the sauce in the delivery, why I need to pay for her mistake? I asked to talk with the manager and she said that wasn’t manager in charge. Ohhhh lord! POORSERVICE

I live across from this place, ordered a California Roll and Fried rice, both were not that great the fried rice was dry. Won’t be back here again

Per the owner’s request I gave them another chance. The sushi was good and it was delivered on time. Just what one would expect. Updated my star rating to reflect a positive transaction.

This place delivery is fast as hell. The dragon taste really good like I mean the mix between the flavors are so intriguing that it blows your mind.

Food was priced really great. Cheaper than the regular places I go to in Jersey. My husband was very happy with his rolls. However, my chicken teriyaki bowl was inedible! Chicken was dried and tasted like it had been cooked days ago and recooked now. Awful. My avocado cucumber roll made it evident why it was so cheap. One little stick of cucumber and a slither of avocado. All I tasted was the rice. Place isn’t horrible. Just have to find the right thing to order :/

We had landed really late at night and on our way to Bal Harbor, were seeking some food, any food, just V/GF. Thankfully this place was open late and had vegetarian maki roll options!

Great prices and good food. We ordered the combo #3 and #6(bbq eel) and both came with salad. We also ordered edamame and the #17(spicy tuna). We wanted iced tea without sugar and what they had was green tea in a can and it was very refreshing. Total was about $ 38, which was a great value. Food was prepared and served quickly.

This place is great for the price. I have been ordering from here a lot lately. The steamed gyoza with ponzu sauce is spectacular. The JB rolls always taste great and fresh and today I ordered a new roll called Tropical, and it was great. The tropical roll had spicey tuna and it went spectacular with the spicey mayo drizzle on top. I also ordered a Volcano Jr. role and a teriyaki chicken bowl which was great also. I absolutely love the prices and it is a big reason as to why I order from here so much. Now if you want a quick meal then maybe this won’t be the place for you. They always say the order will take 45 minutes to an hour but it’s more like an hour to an hour and 15 minutes or so. If you are ok with the wait time then go on ahead and order. I’m giving iron sushi 4 stars because the food has always been great when I order from here, and I always order spicey mayo and eel sauce and one time they forgot my eel sauce. I won’t give it 5 stars just because of the wait time, to be honest.

I don’t give this place 0 stars because you have to pick– this is the worse place ever to order food I ordered my food at 7:15 and its 9:35 and it just arrived — after speaking to the staff over 3 times over the phone and everytime they said 15 min … The delivery guy wanted to come into my house to take the food because I didn’t want to pay for it — disrespectful, unprofessional and complete BULLSHIT … Don’t order from this place!!!

Delicious and SO cheap! Seriously never found sushi this cheap AND good before. Generally, cheap sushi means small pieces but this place had huge rolls too. I don’t know what everyone else is talking about, the quality seemed great to me. I got 16 pieces of sushi for less than 9 bucks — that is pretty unbeatable.

The only reason why I’m giving this place one star is because I have to. I called multiple times to place an order and was rudely told to «Hold on», then hung up on. This happened every time I called.

I have been a client for more than 10 years. I never had an issue with this local Sushi place, but a few weeks ago I had a horrible experience where they forgot half of my order on top of having to wait for over 2 hours for the food to arrive. When the order got home the delivery person did not have change to break a $ 20 bill. When I called to complained, to my surprise, I was not only shut off by the lady over the phone, never received the missing items, never received an apology, but when I emailed management about this incident, I was completely ignored. This was my last order to this place.

One word– nasty. Just threw away an order from this place. The avocado was brown, mushy & rotten. They tried to tell me it changed bc of Miami heat… Ummm. What? I’ve got an avocado tree in my yard, fresh from the tree, warm from the sun avocados are not brown and mushy. I asked if they didn’t mind losing a regular customer over a $ 7 order and she said that«was fine».

I believe Iron Sushi is the only sushi spot in North Beach and that’s why they don’t care about anything cause they know there’s no other place competing with them. Iron sushi is a chain of sushi restaurants and I have visited their downtown location and the service was better. first off, customer service is horrible. you call for delivery any given night and they’ll tell you that estimated delivery time is 1hr 45mins! Mind you I live just a few blocks away! I was really craving some veggie rolls and didn’t want to wait so I placed an order for pickup. when I got there it hadn’t been made. hellooooo that’s the whole point of me calling 30 minutes ago for a take out order. Okay, so after waiting 15 minutes, my veggie rolls are finally done and I go to pay. I usually carry a prepaid card with me because of all the recent identy thefts and I never have a problem because it’s just a regular AMex card. the girl tells me that she can’t accept my card because it doesn’t have a name on it. i keep stressing to her that it’s not a problem because those cards work anywhere credit cards are accepted. since I was hungry and aggravated I gave in and went to an ATM to take out money and pay. it was just unnecessary. and just to top it off the rolls weren’t even that good. Oh and the place is really dirty and they keep the rice in a dirty ass bucket. the only good thing is that they have lotsa magazines and books for you to read so you can’t distract yourself from the unpleasant surroundings lol. You’re better off going to the Publix closeby and ordering sushi there!

I have eaten at all the iron sushi places There’s only one that stands out this one on north beach is the bomb it don’t look like much but man it’s so good, same owners you would think the food was the same, not a chance this is the only iron sushi to come to. We live in north Miami and travel to the beach location its that much better

Dependable sushi and great prices for Miami beach. Innovative combos but taste can be a little bland. They don’t make their sushi rice quite right. Many healthy choices here which is always appreciated and the awesome Japanese beers as well as saki. All in all great for the price very no frills place not the best sushi but you can sit in the sidewalk in Collins feel the ocean breeZe and people watch. Good stuff

Not bad for the price! However, there are other similar restaurants with better quality and taste! I got the Salmon Sushi, the pieces of Salmon where almost transparent, because of how thin they were. The ratio of fish to rice is not to your advantage at all. We also got a bowl of ramen noodles, next time I will just buy 6 bags for $ 2 at the supermarket and make a better tasting bowl of soup. The flavors on this bowl were very confusing and dis not mix well together. The best part of out meal was the Tofu Steak with a BBQ sauce. That was good!!! If you are in the area an want An inexpensive food alternative that is not a burger or a taco, this is a good place to go. Make sure you dont go too late, they will scrub the floor with soap and water in front of you as they get ready to close… The smell of Pinesol was just what we needed to compliment this very weird meal!

Wow. Seriously, fellow Unilocalers? You’re expecting stellar quality for sushi that costs about $ 8 and is the quality of the sushi found at Publix? That’s like expecting filet mignon in your McDonald’s Big Mac, or Chilean sea bass in your Burger King fish sandwich and bellyaching when you don’t receive that. Unrealistic and unreasonable. If you want grade-A quality sushi, then be prepared to pay for it. This is basically the equivalent of fast food sushi and everyone knows that, as this is a local chain. To reiterate, this is the fast food equivalent of sushi, so although the sushi is fresh, don’t expect to find grade«A» blue fin tuna being used here, and don’t expect to get what would otherwise cost over $ 25 in an upscale restaurant for $ 8 at this takeout joint. You get what you pay for. For those craving late-night sushi(we’re talking up until midnight 7 days a week, a rarity in almost any other sushi joint), and on a budget, this place will do just fine. Ditto if you’re feeling lazy and not wanting to leave the house, or you just realized Publix is closed. A-Ok! I used to live in this area and ordered here for many years(at least 2 – 3 years, and on a weekly basis, too!). The sushi was never warm, never had a foul odor to it, and never did I get ill from consuming it. If you live on Biscayne, Go-To Sushi is your best option for economical, yet fresh sushi.

Als take away perfekt!

FAIL! HORRIBLE, UTTER, FAIL! Attempted to order from here on Sunday night. The Mr. and I had spent the entire day on the roof, doing a repair. We were tired and hungry. I went online to see what restaurants would deliver, knowing full well that wherever I ordered from would take a long time. The Mr. got the martinis going while I found that Iron Sushi has online ordering. SCORE! I was really too exhausted to deal with attempting to order over the phone. I placed my order, got my confirmation email and settled down to wait. We waited. And waited. After 70 minutes, I felt a call was in order. I was told that online ordering doesn’t work, even though NOTHING on the website said, «hey, this doesn’t work!!» AND I got a nice confirmation email. We were fuming mad! The 3 martinis that had been consumed in the interim didn’t help either. We cancelled the order and the manager took down my credit card info so it wouldn’t be charged… EXCEPTTHATITWAS!!! I am still trying to get them to reverse the charges. NEVER, EVER again!!!
