We ate in when we visited. The restaurant doesn’t look good but it seemed clean. We ordered shrimp pad Thai and chicken pad see ew. The food lacked sauce and flavor. Some of the veggies were not fresh. The meat had no flavor or seasoning. The portions were large so we took some for leftovers. The next day, the leftovers smelled spoiled. We also ordered Thai iced tea. They were overly sweet and didn’t taste authentic. Atleast the workers were nice.

Been here about 5 times because my barbershop is next door. The first few times i didn’t have too much opinions about it I was sort of indifferent. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. Then the last two times I been there I get my thai ice tea(their my favorite I always order them at any thai place) and the grounds of the tea go up my straw and into my throat and give me the nastiest taste in my throat. How do you make that mistake twice tho!!! Then I order a chicken curry and a chicken pad thai and the chicken had this distinct very chickeny and gamey smell, which is not good and was not appetizing at all. I really tried to like you guys, but I just can’t. Especially when I complained and you guys just looked at me and said«nothing could be done and that’s just the way Thai tea is.»

I’ve been a regular here for about 3 years. This place has the best Thai food in Miami and they are super accommodating! I prefer pad Thai with the thick noodles(even though that’s not how it’s meant to be prepared) and they always make it how I request it, despite hesitations since it is an odd request. Love this place couldn’t recommend it more!

Ordered a California roll. No words, I’ll let the picture speak for itself. Also ordered tomyum soup, asked for mild but it was so spicy I couldn’t even eat it. The volcano chicken was grilled chicken with steamed vegetables and sweet and sour sauce. A very disappointing meal.

I’ve been here many times and enjoyed it every time. On 04÷18÷16 around 6:30pm I went here and ordered a few things including a Pad Thai dish. It did not taste right after a few bites I decided not to finish it. Paid over $ 50 dollars for the whole meal. By 10:00pm my stomach was in pain, and 2 days later I’m still nursing myself back form both diarrhea and vomitting. I don’t know what’s going on here with Miami restaurants that over charge and serve mediocre food. This was one place I enjoyed until now. BE Cautious!

Even though this is my first review here in Unilocal about Satwadee. Im a regular here over the past two years. The Lunch Menu is fantastic and the prices are unbeatable for Miami. I tried almost everything on the Menu and i never had a negative experience so far!

I love this place! Its small and cozy! Service is sharp and the food is awesome! Its BYOB and there is a public parking right by the entrance! Since it is small and very popular in the area very often there is wait to sit! Never a long wait though! And always worth the time! When I am not in the mood to leave the house I always ask for delivery and its super fast! I am only giving 4 starts because more then 3 times our delivery curry orders came without the rice!

Some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. The Massaman Curry, Pad See Ew, Tom Kha Kai are all incredibly fragrant yet balanced. The ambiance is comforting and the music soothing and casual. Soulful.

The spice gods heard my wishes. After moving from New York, I feel that Miami is seriously lacking in the asian cuisine. After trying many different places, and even trying to become a regular only to be told that things are sold out or lack in consistency we finally bit the bullet and paid the ridiculous fee for postmates to deliver from here and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Red curry with chicken, Chicken with basil, Pad See maw with tofu. The portions were huge, we have left overs we can eat for another two days. The shrimp/pork shumai was so delicious and filled with a lot of meat, and salted perfectly. The red curry was delicious and authentic, with tons of white meat chicken. The Drunken noodles were excellent The food was SOOOOOOOOOOOOHOT! This was the first time since we moved to miami, that we actually had to wipe our faces, and gulped down my thai ice tea and my hubby even got himself a glass of milk. It was so spicy we didn’t even eat as much as we normally do, but it was MUCHNEEDED since we had missed spice for months! Will definitely order here regularly, but next time will say Thai Medium Hot. YAY.

I come here regularly ’cause it’s one of the best restaurants in North Beach. The space is small, quaint, and cozy. The lunch specials are economical and tasty with an accompaniment of a soup or salad and an egg roll. I like that they ask me what level of spicy I want. Also, they don’t serve alcohol but that’s fine because you can bring your own.

Really good food, small place but quite comfy. Needs more lighting or ventilation cause it’s smells a bit like humidity. Service was just ok, but fast. They don’t serve alcoholic beverages but u r welcome to bring your own. Prices are reasonable. Been there twice and love me Some Thai food.

This place is a great spot for quick and easy Thai food. Their menu is not as extensive as Panya Thai(North Miami Beach), but they have the classics that most will associate with Thai cuisine. The noodle dishes(Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Rad Na) were solid, the green curry was good, and the soups were delicious. On my first visit, hubby got green curry with chicken. The curry was excellent, but the chicken was rubbery and overcooked. On our second visit, we went for lunch and opted for tofu as the«meat» in all of our dishes. The lunch special is a steal. Starting at $ 7.95 you get a choice of soup or salad with your main dish. Bonus: This place is B.Y.O.B. and NOCORKAGEFEE!!! This restaurant is small, so be prepared to wait a little while for a table on Saturday nights.

Amazing place to have a intimate dinner for two when it isn’t crowded. When we visited the place was closing in a hour or two so there weren’t that many people there but it is a tight quarters place and I can only imagine how crowded it can get with a full house. The food on the other hand is the best Thai food I’ve had since I’ve been in Miami. I used to hate on sushi BAD but the owner gave me and my boyfriend a few recommendations and we fell in love. I am now a lover of sushi(never thought I’d ever type those words, lol).

Love/Hate relationship with this place. It’s a hole in the wall Thai/Sushi spot that’s in the North Shore neighborhood. What sets this place apart, and keeps me along with many other friends coming back is the quality food. Their sushi tastes fresh and made very well. I’ll admit, I’m a boring sushi orderer(California, spicy tuna, and Boston roll usually do it for me). I’ve also tried their Pad Thai on occasion, and it’s also very good. I haven’t dined here, just pickup. It’s kinda tiny, and I get claustrophobic easily in this place, even when I’m just waiting to pickup my order! However, they do have a BYOB policy which is pretty cool and not so common. What I don’t love(aside from the tiny space), is bad parking, and they don’t have their EAT24 delivery working correctly! They offer delivery, but apparently have EAT24 set to a 1 block radius! Anyhow, I certainly recommend Sawaddee as a solid option for good food in the North Shore area.

Please try this place, not once but many times! There was a time when my boyfriend and I would go here everyday for lunch. Prices are low, and food is amazing! Only complaint is some days food tastes better than others(always delicious) and the older Thai server seems to not be very polite towards women. However, I would suck it up and try this place out anyways! Absolute hidden gem

Service and food was good but it’s called a Sushi and Thai restaurant and when we tried to order sushi which shouldn’t of be that much of an ask, we were told that they weren’t serving sushi(very abruptly). Maybe a sign, an explanation or just take the sushi options off the menu. Just a thought.

This is my little spot. I have brought here all my family and friends from Peru, and they all LOVE it! We have being coming here since 2009, and is our favorite little date place. The owner is so funny and pleasant. We love her and always come back because of her food and service. Keep this amazing place so alive. Ps. The baby is coming soon

Really affordable and delicious Thai food in Miami beach, which is a rare combination. It’s a hole in the wall kind of place but don’t let that keep you away! Excellent sushi, very fresh and well constructed. Pad Thai is good too and also try the dumplings as an appetizer! Service is quick, we got our food to-go and waited only 10 – 15 mins

Not much from the outside but don’t let that fool you– atmosphere is very warm. A great escape from the overpriced mediocrity of Miami. A little salty and you really have to convince them you want it spicy– service is a bit disorganized.

Saw reviews, made me wanted to try. Went there yesterday for dinner. Worse of the worse !!! Tom yum soup was bad. Tom kha soup taste like nothing in the broth. Papaya salad was too sours! Curry was blah. Very disappointed. Wonder how do they get many stars. I won’t go back and not recommended to others. !!

This place is delicious! Both for carry out and dine in. They have a large menu, and the owners are from Thailand which makes it even more authentic. I’ve tried a few things on their menu and I would say their prok Gyoza, Pad Thai, Curry, and their sushi are all delightful. Looking forward to going back and trying other menu items. Also, it’s BYOB, amazing, as Miami lacks this!

Sometimes I’m stubborn. Sawaddee was recommended to me by a friend over a year ago, but it took until today to get my butt over there for lunch. I’m glad I did. It’s charming, reasonable and the food was great! I’ll review again when I have a chance to get more dishes at dinner.

I read about this restaurant on Unilocal and decided to try it out. The reviews were on point! Everything was delicious! Small restaurant but has a very romantic and chic look inside. We ordered the papaya salad with the hot flavor, Garlic chicken, JB roll and the spider roll. Everything was great! My favorite was the Papaya salad. The prices were also very reasonable. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the server wasn’t the most pleasant women. She didn’t seem happy to be there and seemed like she just wanted us in and out. If it wasn’t for her this restaurant would most definitely be a 5 star. Also make sure that if you are bringing drinks that it’s not hard liquor. They only allow customers to bring beer, wine, champagne or sake.

Unilocalers, you guys let me down here. 4.5 stars? Really??? Very average experience here. I tried three things and all tasted ok to too salty(Pad Thai, Volcano Chicken and one of their soups.) The place is kind of a hole in the wall and the service is not good. The only saving grace are the prices which are ok. For excellent Thai food, go to Oishi Thai.

Best lunch Thai deal on north beach. Best tasting Thai food on north beach. Best fucking sushi as well. Place is small it fits like 10 people inside but who cares, the food that comes out of this place is 1000% authentic you order Thai from here consider it your first of many victories of the day. Every time I eat here my day has been spectacular… I’m talking insane proposals from clients, threesomes, my girl not being pregnant type of days. check the menu and order takeout asap. Or come for a quick cheap lunch and proceed to win for the rest of the day. Yes, I just ordered food from this place & wrote this afterwards. Thinking about ordering again tomorrow.

Love this hole-in-the-wall! One of the first orders of business when we moved to the neighborhood was to find a good Thai place(among our favorite cuisines) to replace the one we frequented in our old stomping grounds. We actually stumbled upon it while walking to dinner elsewhere! Whether eating in, takeout or delivery, the food is always served fresh, quick and full of flavor. We tend to go for chicken pad Thai, a roll and iced Thai tea(a guilty pleasure). It’s very small to dine inside but always friendly service, and especially perfect for weeknight takeout.
