As a senior dermatology resident, we have the privilege of rotating with Dr. Zaiac and learning from him. Dr. Zaiac is one of the best in South Florida for Mohs surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and general dermatology. He is well loved by all of his patients which include numerous celebrities, business leaders, and local officials who come to him for their dermatologic care. He practices ethical medicine and is well respected by academic and private physicians alike. His patients receive excellent care and follow-up and his Mohs and cosmetic results are outstanding. Some previous reviews have mentioned the long wait time but that is only on very, very busy days because so many patients want to see him. Time with the doctor varies depending on the condition being treated but rest assured he will offer you the best treatment. Recommended.

Quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a health care provider of any kind. Bad«bedside manner» saw the doctor for about 5 minutes and the whole time he seemed like he was in a hurry to do something more important. I guess it was my mistake for assuming that as a patient I was important to a doctor… In addition, I was given a treatment not covered by my insurance. Instead of being told I would have to pay out pocket at the time I was in the office I merely received a letter in the mail with a charge for the treatment. I’m sort of reluctant to write this review but I hope it helps anyone else thinking of visiting this business. At the end of the day, a health care provider functions a lot like any other business. And in the long run, those that provide a bad service to their customers(or patients) tend to not stay in business for long.

This the worst dermatologist by far they literally destroyed my face with a cream that they gave me to apply during the night ! I had only few mark from acne and I wanted to get rid of it so I went to this place called GREATERMIAMISKINANDLASER to ask for a treatment and then my nightmare begin ! They gave me a cream to apply during the night and this cream peeled my face and left it with more burns and marks and also my skin looked older ! I went to see them after and they said the doctor is not here so a nurse came to see me and of corse with no answers for my case or any solution and the worst part is that they charge even this consultation !!! The doctor never contacted me ! And I tried to call them again but their answer was always the doctor is busy !!! Don’t know what to do anymore :(

I’ve been going here for two years. You always have to wait 1 plus hour to see the doctor. I have been patient but I find it very rude. You might get 3 minutes max with the doctor if your lucky. It’s time to find another office/dr who cares more about their patients.

Terrible experience. The staff is extremely rude, especially the office staff. They were u empathetic to my needs and the PA denied giving telling me I would need blood work at my initial visit. They were slow at processing insurance paperwork for approved biopsy and getting a follow up appointment took a long time. I do not recommend this place!

This place is terrible. Here’s why: Address given was incorrect. I was told to go to 4300 Alton Road(the hospital), but they’re actually located in the suite building. Now that I checked their website, I see they have the building address correct, however the receptionist confirmed the address was 4300. This made me late to my appointment… I arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment. I waited ANENTIREHOUR. The wait room was freezing. I realize doctors’ offices are kept cool for sterile reasons, but it was uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn, I was taken to a small exam room. The doctor arrived shortly after and took one look at my skin and wrote me an RX for a sonogram. WTF!!! Also told me I don’t need to wash my face. His bedside manor is terrible and he was very rude when I was simply asking questions, accusing me of «having all the answers» or being some weird hippie with crazy skin ideas. If I had all the answers, I wouldn’t have made the appointment — I should be allowed to ask questions. After explaining to me that I need a sonogram, to check for cists on my ovaries(yup, this is what a certified dermatologist said to me!) so the acne can be treated from the inside out(instead of topically with a good facewash or something), he then said he would inject cortisone into the couple of blemishes on my face. I’m less than 30 years old with very mild acne and this«doctor» is suggesting to inject my face!!! But I shouldn’t worry because he’s treating it from the«inside, out». Riiiiiiiight. The doctor also told me that facials are bad and useless. My understanding of his reasoning behind this is the extractions are usually done poorly and picking the face is bad anyway(this was the only«advice» I got from him that made sense. I have also heard this before many times because I actually was NOT just born yesterday!). The cleansers used are also not necessary, according to Dr. Zaias. However, it should be noted that his office offers several different varieties of facials. Don’t go here this doc is a quack.

This place actually ripped me off. I went for a skin check. The doctor was in my exam room for less than two minutes, and half of that time he was standing with the exam room open. He then billed me for a 45 minute visit and two biopsies. When I asked to get a copy of my patient file to verify the charge, I was told to fax in a request. I faxed it and got a confirmation but never received my file. All I got was a past due notice. I’m now challenging the claim through my insurance. Don’t go here. These doctors couldn’t care less and don’t provide good care.

Very thorough doctors that teach other doctors from all over the world and both Medical schools in Miami. Getting an appointment can be hard because these doctors are so in demand. However if you are going for cosmetic treatment, there is a separate spa area fully staffed by a licensed esthetician and physician where appointments are fast. I have gone to other dermatologists for my dermatology needs but I trust Dr. Zaiac and Dr. Zaias Your wife will love the spa anti-aging treatments and a laser face lift or anti-wrinkle treatment or Botox makes a nice gift and will make you points at home.

Because I have sensitive skin, I like to check with a dermatologist before I go about slathering new things on my skin. Dr. Marty is my go-to guy. He’s helped me through makeup-induced hives and blemishes. Dr. Marty Zaiac also offers every skin procedure you can think of, from microdermabrasion to peels, etc. And I’d much rather get a facial from a dermatologist who knows my skin’s history than some Joe at a spa who is forced to use the products the salon is hocking that will probably cause me to get hives – which would just lead me back to Dr. Marty’s office for a cure. Dr. Marty is also upfront about keeping you skin sun safe, and since we live in Florida, you should get checked and keep your skin covered.
