The store has some nice items but the sales staff is one of the worse I have encountered in a very long time. They are snobby, rude, unhelpful and have no idea how to treat clients. I will never shop here again and will not hesitate to tell anyone to stay clear and not spend money at this store. They have a terrible return policy if you ever receive a gift purchased here, good luck making exchange. I was told I was not able to do anything with the gift as it was purchased on line. No return or exchange. Not helpful. Could not care less. And if you ever purchase shoes never leave store without the box for the shoes. My very expensive sandals were given to me in a pouch and when attempted to return they said no because they were not in a box. Well, I was never given a box or told they had to be in a box if you needed to make exchange or return. They are sneaky and just say do you want the box or is pouch okay ??? Beware they try to stick you if you don’t take the box !!! And then proceed to say they will view video tape of the day you purchased to see if sales person told you $ 750 shoes were Final sale without box. Are you kidding me, this is ridiculous. There is zero mention of this so called policy on store receipt or website. They know they are trapping you and will give you a hard time returning or exchanging if you need to. After I made a call to corporate in New York and speaking to a very understanding and helpful girl she advised me I could make return. When I arrived at store to make the return, the very rude and unhelpful staff including the manager in Bal Harbor allowed the return without a shoe box that was never given to me. This was after the second trip to bal Harbor to make the return !! Never Again will I shop here. There are so many other wonderful places to shop with gorgeous clothes and kind, helpful, service orientated sales associates. These girls need to go back to school for attitude adjustment and some new sales skills. If there was a negative star rating, they would get it !!!

Jacqui Pommier will make your shopping experience phenomenal at this south beach location on Collins ave. Definitely ask for her when you walk in. You wont miss her– Tall, thin and blonde. You can even call ahead and make an appointment with her. I don’t ever go in unless she is working, because it can be a bit uncomfortable walking in there. I have been shopping here for years and I def. recommend this store/location for essentials in your closet. My purchases have always been investments and the quality and timelessness of my staples carry me from season to season. From casual wear to night on the town, ladies can get dressed from head to toe at this store. Jeans, bikinis, hand bags, shoes, dresses, tops and accessories. You name it they have it. It can be a bit pricey but they cover a broad spectrum of prices. And if you don’t want to spend 1,000 $ on a herve leger dress you can also find a cocktail/party dress in the 200 $ range. They basically always have a sale rack too! and/or a promotion on full price items. I have lucked out and purchased J brand and rag and bone jeans for 100 – 120 $ which is great for those of you who are familiar they normally cost 188 – 220 $. Jeans are an investment because they will last for years. My last visit there, a few days ago(Aug 2013) i scored a parker sweet heart shape short, fit n flare dress for approx. 200 $, on sale and a full price helmut lang LBD for 300 $. just to give you an idea. You can also spend 500‑1200 $ on a dress, depending on material and designer. Some brands they carry– Rag-n Bone, parker, herve, Chelsea flower, giuseppe zanotti, torn, ALC and rebecca minkoff to name a few. Def. a good place to add some essential basics to your wardrobe, to vamp up, or to treat your self!

I looooooooove Intermix! It is honestly my favorite store in the entire world and I wish that I had a money tree as I would happily take my daily pickings RIGHT to intermix and blow it ALL. Intermix in 3 words: Trendy Sexy Cutting-edge Although I do prefer the bal harbour location(and NYC as they are a bit trendier) I can’t say anything but good things for this location as I went yesterday and found a pair of rag & bone jeans(for intermix) in my size… UMMONSALE! Originally $ 260 can you even take a guess at how much money actually came out of my pocket? A whopping $ 60!!! WHAAAAAAAT? I was in shock! Now, these are not just ANYJEANS. They are metallic blue/grey jeans with black zippers. ugh I can’t even stress enough how insanely unique this pair of pants is. I had to even make a night out of it and have a nice dinner out as I was ecstatic to add this pair of jeans to my collection ;) Okay I digress, intermix has a great selection of clothes and while they are pretty pricy they do sell unique items and have made quite a name for themselves. If you have some extra money to spend and want a UNIQUE one-of-a-kind outfit, then definitely do not pass up Intermix. Try the Bal Harbour location as well as they do carry different items. The one in south beach carries more neural colors(nude, beige, white) and is more beachy rather than sexy.

They had a great sale and found this amazing pair of Sergio Rossi pumps for $ 300! Can’t get any better than that! And I absolutely love most of the handpicked items they carry. Love, love, love!

I absolutely love intermix, we have one here in Chicago. The selection at the SOBE Intermix was disappointing, the store felt empty. They did have a good selection of accessories though, but the store felt bare. As soon as we stepped into the store, it smelled like a diaper, and then we found out why. One of the sales associates had her son(or maybe nephew) there with her in a stroller, who was parked at the dressing rooms, screaming and crying, no one attending to him at all. I thought maybe just that area of the store would smell like that and I could drown out the noise, but no. I was mortified, not a usual characteristic of Intermix or a boutique like Intermix.
