No go! Overpriced due to location, kind of bland. they dont speak english very well and the menu is limited and confusing… The food is outright gross.

While on vacation in North Beach we wanted breakfast and although there is a Denny’s and Ihop we wanted to try something different. So happy to have found this place! It’s not big but it’s clean, the food is fresh and the staff was friendly. Food tastes home cooked too which I love. It was so good we went back for breakfast the next day!

Excellent service, but not a lot of healthy options. I ordered an egg white omelette with veggies. Since I’m starting a 12 week, fitness program. I had to be careful about what I eat also. My trainer suggested that I consume only egg whites with spinach for breakfast and a protein shake. Unfortunately, this eatery didn’t carry spinach. The lack of veggie choices was a bit of a bummer, but at least they offer egg whites for an additional dollar. When paying your bill, be sure to check it! They include the tip on the bill. Understandable since they get a lot of tourists in this area and tipping is not customary in their country.

A family member recently moved over by this restaurant so we stopped by to just look around. We ended up ordering some beef & chicken empanadas. They were absolutely delicious! Get there early though, they run out quick! I even bought some to bring back to Jersey with me so my husband can try them!

Palomilla Steak Was very good with light spice to bring out flavor. Friendly staff . Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews here 1 guy only got coffee. Look for the Orange awning !

Don’t eat here! I ordered a cheese burger with fries and my husband ordered chicken with rice and black beans. I thought the burger was going to be fresh but yet it tasted previous frozen and the cheese was not melted indicating that it was definitely imitation cheese. My husband chicken was tough and also tasted frozen, the waitress forgot to order the rice so when his food came out it was chicken and beans I had to remind her rice was ordered as well. The décor was very old dated and horrible I should’ve known better then to eat there. SMHNEVERAGAIN!

Do yourself a favor and keep walking. Best coffee… i don’t think so, walk a few steps more and go to Las Vegas. The service was slow and there was only one person taking orders and ringing up people at the register. Let’s talk about the delicious looking pastries, they might look good but they are old and stale. Never again.

Overall: for a bakery average on all fronts, good place if you can’t find a place or have a hard time parking, not my first pick but not my last. Ambience Trying to find something quick to eat we walked past it and saw a couple of people sitting outside and lots more inside. Looked good and could hear some music playing so we stopped in. Service Took a second for a table to empty, server cleaned it up fast. Only two servers taking care of the whole place so service was good but laid back. Since we were sitting in and ordering meals it took more time. If you want to stop in a grab some empanadas, a pastry and some coffee it would be a lot faster. Again average service, not snobby but not overtly friendly and helpful. For example, utensils weren’t given to us, also I was on the far side of the table and server refused to put the plate down in front of me and waited for me to reach over and grab it from her lol, idk I’m just not used to that lol Food Watch out! The hot sauce is Habanero NOT Tabasco! My fiancé almost gagged lol! My egg and bacon sandwich $ 6.99 was good, my brothers chocolate milkshake $ 5.00 was good if you like chocolate syrup taste. They actually sell burgers and milkshakes! As well as Cuban sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches. So definitely a good selection. Seating All in all a little snug for sure. Big families over 4 won’t be able to «push» their tables together if you know what I mean. 3 – 4 big tables, a couple of 2 seater tables, a bar seating area and outside 2 tables. Music Good feel, reggae and relaxed Spanish rock music mixed for an interesting feel. Suddenly I have a good idea for a new station on my Pandora. Hope this helped!

Expensive and tip and tax is included in check. Expect to ask for service over and over as staff forgets your order, your coffee etc.

Eating here is like being a guest in someone’s home. There is a full menu of all types of things, both Latin and American. My favorite is the specially-wrapped breakfast Burrito and omelettes. They also have some extremely well-made pastries at great prices.

Picture this: It’s Sunday, late morning. I awake, refreshed, after a long and deep sleep. I am hungry, due to the length of the sleep. I head into the kitchen, where I am greeted by the sad sight of an empty refrigerator. What to do? I set out walking down Collins, searching for sustenance. First stop — Denny’s. Line out the door, rumbling stomach screams, «NOTWORTHTHEWAIT, WOMAN!». Next stop, IHOP. Stomach senses the crowd and pleads with me to move on. It’s now well after 11 and I ponder a stop at Norman’s, but then I encounter… Sabrosos! Menu looks good, it’s not crowded, so in I go! The woman at the bakery counter(which was filled with mouth-watering treats) motioned for us to take a seat, so we did. We were promptly greeted by the server, who brought us waters. We perused the menu and decided on the pork chop and eggs(Larry S.) and the build your own omelete with mozzarella, mushrooms and green pepper(moi). Each item was $ 9.99 and came with choice of toast(white or whole wheat) and choice of home fries or french fries. While waiting for the food to arrive(it took a while, despite the relative emptiness of the place, hence the 4 stars versus 5), we looked at their lunch options… very solid, burgers, salads, sandwiches, all reasonably priced. When the food arrived, we dug in and ate every last bite! Delicious! Larry S. said the pork chop was a unique and delicious addition to brunch, while we both enjoyed the addition of onions to the home fries. While very little was left over on the plates, we left with full bellies and a full wallet! Great value and service with a smile!
