I have been going to South Beach on vacation for the past four years, and during this time this property definitely ranks towards the top of the places of which I stayed. The location is prime, right on Ocean Drive and across the street from an excellent part of the beach and extremely close to the bars and restaurants on the strip. The apartment itself is clean and cozy, definitely big enough where you feel like you’re not sleeping on each other (I went with three of my buddies and we had no problem). In addition staying in this apartment allowed us to have access to the rooftop pool which has a great view of the beach and allowed us to pick up beach towels which I thought were nice perks that wouldn’t be available in many other places. All in all I would definitely recommend to my friends should they need a place to stay. If I come back to stay in South Beach in the future I will most likely be looking at this condo hotel again.

So I’m booking a hotel since I’m in Miami from February 11 – 12 and then out for a cruise from the 12^th through the 15.

and I saw a vacation home for $ 150 per night which is not bad considering it’s in South Beach. Cost was shown as $ 150 per night + 14% tax ($ 21) + $ 12 resort fee per person. But hey I was only staying one night so I would expect the cost to be $ 183. WRONG! They charged me $ 219 when I explicitly told them that I was the only person staying there. Then yesterday I saw they charged me an additional $ 50 for cleaning fee for people who are staying 7 nights or less (this is cleverly hidden in their fine print so you don’t notice it at first glance). So now a $ 219 one night stay is now a $ 269 one night stay and not sure why they decided to charge me over a month in advance of the stay.
So I cancelled the reservation and was charged a $ 30 cancellation fee and now I have to contest the $ 269 charge since they processed the charge over a month in advance of the actual reservation.
Avoid booking with these people as they will charge you with as many hidden fees as possible.
