My husband and I absolutely love this place. It can get crowded sometimes but the wait for a table outside is worth it. Oliver’s serves variety of foods from breakfast to salads, seafood, tacos, meat and veggie dishes. We absolutely loved everything so far. The food is always nice and fresh and a hidden gem in South Beach.

Great, relaxing ambience. I love that there’s music playing in the background and it’s like 60s, 70s… Van Morrison, Sinatra, etc Breakfast was very good, last time I was here was over 10 yrs ago for lunch. Smoked salmon eggs Benedict was very good, love the hollandaise sauce & the home fries were cooked perfectly. I ordered the fresh squeezed OJ and it was so sweet and so good! Also, perfect place to come with your dog

Hadn’t been here since it first opened nearly 20 years ago and I was so happy I went back to try it. This is a great neighborhood place that could easily become my go-to spot when I am too lazy to make dinner. It’s got a huge and varied menu with something to satisfy everyone. Food was flavorful and fresh. I got the Greek salad with grilled calamari which was excellent. Dining companions got the curried shrimp, roast chicken and chicken tacos and everybody cleaned their plates. I will definitely be back.

I ordered twice here«To Go» for the same items because the food was just that GOOD! The beef tacos with the special sauce and the fried shrimp tempura with the spicy sauce was YUMMY!!! Service was quick and all entrees were fresh. Con — The reason for 4 stars is the price. I think it’s pricey. $ 15 for only 3 Beef Tacos. :-(

WOW! You mean I get to have brunch at the beach on a Sunday and I don’t have to wait the obligatory hour and a half to get seated? Whaaaaaaaaaaat??? This is the advantage of eating at a place that is not in the touristy side of town — where only locals come to enjoy the grub while everyone else starves on Ocean Drive. I came here with a party of 5 — no reservations — and were were quickly seated. Love it! The food is sooooooooooooooooooo good and reasonably priced. Aside form being good, it is freaking huge. The portions are enormous. It’s like they’re challenging you — «come on, we dare you, just try and eat it all.» Well, challenge accepted and completed! If you are in the neighborhood, this is where you need to go for good food, a chill crowd, and great service.

So I came here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Overall the food was very good and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was pretty good. Service was great and attentive. For dinner I ordered the shrimp with mango curry. It was really good! Couldn’t stop eating it. They have the same dish with chicken but I was more in the mood for shrimp. This place is highly recommended.

The fresh squeeze orange juice is really good and probably the only thing at this place worth coming back for. The server did not know what was the seasonal fruit that comes with the waffles and did not bothered in asking anyone rather making up that it was melons. Service was horrible and the place was dirty. Our table was all sticky and when asked for someone to clean it, management was rude and offended. They changed us to another table that was also sticky with what looked like syrup. The food was average, the salmon in the Benedictine eggs of the worse quality, salty and dry, probably old. In one sentence, not worth coming back.

The food was pretty good and the coffee was delicious. I would definitely have the omelette and banana French toast again. Thanks Jeff!

The place came up as one of the top brunch spots in Miami, so we had to try it. To be honest, the pictures sold us! Although the place is small and very busy, we only had to wait 15 minutes. There was great energy and vibes both inside and outside on the patio. I’m going to break this review up in 2 parts– the food and the service because both were opposite ends of the spectrum. First off, the brunch menu is phenomenal. Must haves: the Oliver popper, banana walnut pancakes(If you are trying to decide between the blueberry or the banana ones. Just go with the banana– trust me, we tried both), the Apple pancake and the French toast– both so delicious. The service was terrible– had to ask for our server after being seated for 7 minutes, always had to ask for water refills and we felt like we were an inconvenience for her. Pretty typical for service at restaurants in Miami, so didn’t let it bother us. Very affordable and definitely a must try!

I was very excited about trying the food here after reading the reviews. I ordered the popover with easy cheese and when I received my food although it looked beautiful the flavor was not at all pleasing. The bread was bland and burnt. They did not prepare my meal with easy cheese like I asked and when I brought it up to the waitress she was of no help. I would honestly not come back.

Great spot after being out all night and having to be up at a reasonable time for morning business. A number of us camped out here after a couple of business meetings and had sangria. Helped take the edge off for sure. We then moved on to the calamari appetizer which was unbelievably good! The sauce that they’ve created for this is a must. Service was exceptional. After the fifth pitcher we did destroy their ability to serve sangria to any other parties for the day as they ran out of wine.

My friends used Unilocal to find this restaurant for brunch. It is a nice but small restaurant, especially during peak hours, it was difficult to move around. The service was attentive, friendly, and fast. While you wait for your food, you are offered Cuban bread with a really addicting garlic butter. I ordered the day’s special, which was chicken and waffles. The waffle was light and fluffy, and served with a very tasty fruit butter. It was sweet and went well with the syrup and strawberries. The chicken was a boneless tender, which made it easy to eat without getting my hands dirty. Overall, a really tasty dish. My friends and I shared the Dutch Apple pancake. The portion size is GIGANTIC! I do recommend sharing. The pancake wasn’t the best, though. The bottom was very soggy, like it wasn’t cooked all the way at the bottom. It did have huge chunks of fresh apple, which I liked to pick out. But overall, it had some strange artificial Apple taste to it, which overpowered the rest of the flavors. Their drinks looked really tasty, but I was stuffed with the food alone. They offer large portions, so it’s a good idea to share with a friend, that way you can taste more of the menu! Beware when there is rainy weather. Like every other place on South Beach, the outdoor area gets flooded with ankle-deep water, which is what we had to walk through as we left. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, but the weather is something to be wary of if you wanted to eat outside.

I ordered a burger with applewood bacon and got it with regular bacon. I thought, «this is not a big deal. Maybe they ran out of the applewood. I get that things happen». I still wanted to mention it to Melina, our waitress, to bring it to her attention. I did so nicely and she snapped at me, «you don’t want it?!» I was taken aback by her response and I asked that she simply mention it to her manager. 20 minutes passed and the manager did not come to our table. I finally flagged him down. He admitted that it was not applewood bacon and then he proceeded to stare at me blankly with this awkward unapologetic look on his face. He did not care that she was being rude and inattentive or that they were falsely advertising foods in the menu. This place is slipping.

Quick Background about me: 9 years in the hospitality industry(from dishwasher, server, manager, you name it!). Have worked as a personal chef. Traveled extensively through Europe, lived in Africa and South America, Now the U.S. I find myself a foodie and pretty decent at wine… Review: Ordered eggs Benedict. Good but forgetful, I do believe there are so many places you can try with better options. Service was okay, had to flag someone down to have my water filled twice. My biggest pet peeve. Need to work on: is there a manager at this place? I asked for one and this guy awkwardly was like«yeah I kind of am». So are you? Or not? I wasn’t sure if he was a host or they were so busy that he was the manager but didn’t want to talk to me. Bathrooms. Only two. No biggie… But I waited for a few minutes for the ladies room. The men’s room was open, should I go in? No, innapropriate. About 6 minutes later, the ladies door opens. A short Latino man trying to zip up his pants hurriedly with his apron still on, comes out. Well, that is pretty disturbing. Did you just come from the kitchen? Still wearing your apron? Ahhhhh… No. If this happened at any restaurant I have worked in, I would be mortified!

This place was incredible. Went on a Sunday around 1 pm. When I got there it was pretty full but no wait time. I was asked to sit myself so my boyfriend and I chose to sit inside. Someone came immediately to greet us and hand us a menu. The food is not pricey at all! My steak and eggs was $ 15.95 and it was honestly perfect. I’ve never eaten scrambled eggs at an American restaurant until I went here. The steak was not perfectly cooked I asked for well done and they brought out what looked like medium. I’m actually pretty grossed out by pink and blood but it wasn’t bad. It also came with potatoes and a grilled tomato. The potatoes were SOGOOD, however, I can’t say the same for the tomato it had a weird taste and I’m def a tomato person.(My boyfriend had the same food as me) We had crème brûlée for dessert and it was delicious ! My boyfriend doesn’t usually eat different things and he loved it. 4 stars because I had a Coke($ 2.75) and my server seemed to disappear so I couldn’t get refills. I was seriously about to choke on the steak at one point lol. The crowd is different it ranges from older people to younger ones, everyone seemed happy. I will definitely come back.

A little overrated. I came here based on Unilocal reviews which is what I do for most places. I’m not from Miami but I came for brunch on a Saturday with 8 other people. It wasn’t busy so that was a plus. I like the atmosphere and the décor is really cute. They have these cute round white ball looking lights hanging from the ceiling. Also, the price is really fair for the portion sizes. French toast with bananas: It looked really pretty but it wasn’t amazing. The bread was fluffy and soft which was great but all in all, it’s a little overrated. The bananas were so ugly and clearly bad but for some reason, I was still served these bananas on top. Honestly if I worked in a restaurant, I wouldn’t serve someone rotten bananas. It was clearly bad as they were cutting it. Anyways I wouldn’t come back here again.

This place was popping when we came here for breakfast. We opted for patio seating like idiots because it was«nice weather» and we started sweating bullets in 10 seconds flat. It was nice though. Interesting mix of crowds. We’ve got the stick skinny fashion models, the sugar daddy and their flavors of the week, the has-been beauty queens with one too many nose and boob jobs, and then the ones who don’t fit into any category, aka us. No complaints about their eggs Benedict! But I put in an order for their Dutch apple pancake to share and we almost died. I don’t understand how anyone could eat that as their meal. It’s definitely a dessert option, the way it was so sickeningly sweet. We put our forks down after a few bites because it was too much.

I arrived on a Saturday around 1 pm and it was not packed at all. There was no wait and we were sat immediately. Inside & outside seating available. Very friendly staff. I ordered the steak & eggs and my girlfriend ordered the eggs Benedict. Food took no more than 10 – 15 minutes. No complaints at all about the food. Extremely delicious. The taste exceeded our expectation. The waiter was very attentive and we did not need to wait for anything we needed. Overall, great experience & no complaints. There is public parking garage located above the restaurant. Not expensive at all. Entrance is from 10 street. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I don’t have any complaints about this place. It’s been on my radar for quite some time and I’m very pleased customer! Arriving at Oliver’s at 1pm on a Saturday, I expected a huge wait time but we were seated immediately upon arrival. After a quick skim through the menu my boyfriend and I were ready to order: he had the steak and eggs and I tried the eggs benedict and of course a mimosa and bellini;our server was very attendant and helpful while taking our order. Eggs Benedict: ammmazing. It’s not often where I find a place that really knows how to poach their eggs, cook their Canadian bacon just right and know just how to season up their hollandaise sauce. The eggs came with homestyle potatoes which were super delicious and a grilled tomato. 10 out of 10 on this meal. Steak and eggs: this was superb. The steak was cooked just the way he asked, medium well, it was very juicy and not chewy at all. The eggs were ordered over-medium and just like the eggs benedict, it was cooked perfectly ! The dish came with homestyle potatoes and a grilled tomato. Also 10 out of 10 on this meal. Overall, the environment, staff and food definitely exceeded my expectations and I will be back soon to try those Dutch Apple pancakes !

I came here for the brunch and the sausage egg popover on Labor Day weekend, but warning they won’t serve that on a weekend. It was the main reason why I came here so was disappointed. The Eggs Benedict was classic and good. I didn’t like onions in the potatoes that came with it. The gnocchi with vodka sauce was mediocre. The vodka sauce was disappointing — tasted more like half/half sauce instead of vodka sauce — but gnocchi was okay. Patio looks into a building under construction so not a great view. However, the service was good.

Great breakfast spot near Mondrian. Café con leche was delicious as hell. Had the 3 egg omelette and it was also very tasty from their brunch menu. My friends and I were on 4 hours sleep with booze in the blood so didn’t really feel like partaking in the mimosas but I’m sure they are delicious.

Stopped by for brunch Ordered a sangria at the bar Hadn’t even looked at the menu(because she didn’t offer me one) I’ve had the sangria here before and loved it This one tasted absolutely disgusting. It had obviously spoiled. I informed the bartender that there was something wrong with it She apologized I asked her to make me a new one She said«sorry it’s premixed and I would have to make a new batch for you. Guess what lady: THATSYOURJOBASBARTENDER Needless to say I’m not hanging around to order food and I doubt I will come back for that kind shitty ass services
