I had bought a coupon from and thought I would check this place out. When I tried to use it, the owner told me that he told the website that he didn’t want to honor the coupons anymore and proceeded to tell me that he would only honor mine if I bought more food. I left at that point. I understand that running business in South Beach isn’t easy, but next time, don’t sign a contract with if you won’t honor the coupon for your full offer period. Based on others’ reviews, I probably would have been disappointed in the food anyway.

Wow I haven’t eaten here in over 2 years. I use to eat there all the time when I worked on the beach. Today I go there and looks like they sold the place everything is made different now. I ate a chicken pita. Omg it was terrible. I mean I got home and it wasn’t fresh. I was so disappointed with the food. I use to eat this place all the time. Then the place was so dirty, the guy doesn’t clean. I told him it was nasty and laughed at what I was saying. I told him the health department would close the place. Down. Nasty. Do not eat there. !!!

The absolute best Mediterranean restaurant we’ve eaten at in such a long time. We had the chicken rice and salad. The hummus is killer and the baba ganoush is incredible. One of the only reasonably priced places in Miami that offers great quality. The staff is really nice too. The meat isn’t dry and the food is very fresh. Highly highly recommended!

Stopped by here one evening when there wasn’t much going on. I personally had a good food experience, but I will say that part of that is because some of the friends I was with were local gogo dancers and were dressed up really pretty. I was dressed up too, but my body doesn’t really –look– like I do any sort of acrobatics or ability to stand in 5 inch heels for hours on end, so yeah… The atmosphere is like any typical family food place– a.k.a. not exactly a place I would sit in if it was a regular day or if I wasn’t with friends. In-shop isn’t really the best, a bit cramped and stuff– so we ended up sitting outside with the owner & his buddy as they were smoking hookah. They actually gave us hookah for free(again, a perk thanks to dancer friends looking hot). I personally don’t smoke so I wasn’t messing with it, but the others did and said it was pretty good. The owner was also giving us(my friends) drinks for free and stuff and they engaged in conversation with us about their country and whatnot. I remember I had gotten a beef and chicken combo off of their menu– there was an error in my order but probably was my fault– instead of getting it as a gyro/wrap like I wanted, I actually ended up getting the full plate which was almost twice as much. I’m pretty sure it was my error in not verbalizing the wrap one, plus I was really hungry anyways. The food took a while to make, but when we got it we could tell it was really fresh and nicely seasoned(another perk? xD it was near closing time too). In fact I couldn’t finish the plate at all, I only made it through maybe half of it and then had the rest for lunch the next day. It had a good portion of meat, greens, and grain. Overall the owner +1 were nice, and they were friendly for the most part(even though their attention were leaning over more to my friends) and the food was really good. If anything, I would probably just get it as takeout though, and enjoy it at the beach or something.

Gross, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered the 2 skewers platter with rice and salad. They started by microwaving my rice and the guy stuck his finger –without a glove in the rice to check the temperature. They then proceed to only give me one skewer, when I asked«why there was only 1?» the guy told me «we changed our menu it only comes with 1 now» I showed him all of the menus specifically said«2 skewers» he told me «the new menus aren’t here yet» l. I shit you not. By the time I got my food I only had 15 mins left for my lunch break and was hungry so I took it. When I cut into my poorly seasoned chicken it was pink inside and not cooked through all the way! Disgusting. Worst $ 15 bux I’ve ever spent. As a local Im always looking for new places to eat but you couldn’t pay me to come back to this nasty place.

I was desperate for halal food so I gave this a try. It’s a terrible insult to Middle Eastern food. If this restaurant was anywhere else, it would have been out of business already, but the competition for this type of food is minimal in Miami. Rice was old and spent some time in the microwave before it came to me. Salad was soaked in oil. Fries were raw on the inside and soggy. There’s just no effort put into either the food or in keeping the restaurant presentable. Around the corner on 11th St is Miami Mediterranean Diner, which trumps this place on all fronts, except for maybe hookah, which I don’t have any desire to try anyway.

A little disappointed. The«computer was down». So, I had to pay with cash. This means I am going home with only a falafal wrap. No greek salad. And no yogurt drink. … so sad!

Excellent food and prices. Small family owned place. Food made with love, although the inside is very simple and not very air conditioned. The Arabian Salad is huge, and a meal all by itself. The lamb chops are big and tender. Well-worth the trip.

Although A) it’s not the most glamorous, B) my price seems to always be different even though I’ve gotten the same meal for 3 years, and C) it takes a while for your meal— the food is SO good and it’s great to have Arabic food here on the beach.

Stopped in for lunch today after not eating here in years. The front of the restaurant is clean and inviting. We ordered grape leaves, a side of hummus and a shawarma with fries and a drink. The food was ready quickly enough and we took it in the back room to eat. Very dingy dining area, the floor was really dirty(although the bathrooms were spotless). The grape leaves had an off taste and the hummus was flavorless. The fries were nice and crispy but also tasted like the fry oil hadn’t been changed in a while. The shawarma had a tasty white sauce on it and the pita was very good — fluffy and soft. For the food alone, I would have given this place 3 stars, but when we paid, we were surprised to see we had been charged $ 4 for the drink that we thought came with shawarma combo. The woman behind the counter had told Larry S. to just take any drink from the refrigerated case. As it turns out, what he took was not part of the combo deal. However, he does not work there, so how would he know that?! Instead of apologizing for the mistake, she argued with us about why the drink we picked wasn’t included, said she«had to» charge us for it and that she couldn’t go back and take it off the bill. Eventually, she took the $ 4 off, but the whole transaction really ruined what was an average meal to begin with.

I assumed this place had the same owners as a few yrs back and I went without looking at the reviews first. It was by far the most bland food ever, not even salt or spicy Harissa helped. I will never come back or recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Most bland Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. The hummus was like a flavorless paste, the falafel was bland. I had to ask the server for salt. SALT. I do not recommended this place to anyone. It’s not very expensive, but you’re probably better off eating sand. That would have more flavor.

We had a couple of chicken shawarma and brought back home item#E2(boneless chicken kebabs). The shawarma was really good. Loved how the chicken tasted and the sauces. The service was very quick too even though I could clearly see they had a decent number of folks lined up. I would think the food was slightly on the higher side of my price range, for a couple of shawarma and boneless chicken kebab platter but since the quality seemed good, I am good. Would come again InshAllah.

Wow, really? Went back today because of how tasty it was last time and What A Difference. The hummus was bland, zero taste despite the ½ cup of olive oil it was drenched in. The chicken schwarma was so greasy! Just dripping with fat, which is NOT why I eat chicken. And the meat was all fatty and and chewy and just gross. I took one bite and threw the rest in the trash. I would have been better off eating the $ 14 I spent here. What happened to this place? The search for decent Mediterranean food continues… God help me.

BADFOOD — AVERAGEPRICES. I love Arab food, but this place uses bagged bread that makes everything more like feed than food.

This is the second time I’ve been here. I got the falafel sandwich. The good, it’s cheap, quick and fills you up. It’s a healthier option then hitting up McDonald’s. The first time I came here I had a better experience then this time the pita didn’t seem fresh and the tahini sauce was too watery and didn’t have much flavor.

This place totally reminds me of the itty-bitty sidewalk cafes of Egypt where the locals eat and smoke hookah afterwards.(I don’t think the owners are Egyptians but from some other Arab country) If you are in this part of Miami near the busy party scene and beach crowd, this is a good quick option for so authentic Middle Eastern food. I loved their chicken kabob wrap. They have some good platter options as well. The cooks make the food right infront of you in their open grill style kitchen. They have a separate sitting place towards the back of the restaurant past the open kitchen area. The ambiance and romance lighting is not visible so I will not suggest this place as a romantic date, however, I will suggest it as a casual lunch or dinner to satisfy your middle eastern food cravings. I like the fact they are open until 2 am most nights of the week and they are conveniently located right on Washington ave. Parking is alittle tricky however you can find street parking or there are some garages in a short walking distance. If you are craving kabobs, falafel, hummus etc this place is worth a try!

If you want authentic falafel and shawarma in Miami Beach, this is the place to go. They have the shawarma on one of those slow rotating heaters with a big hairy Arabic guy deep frying falafel and preparing the pita sandwiches. The falafel was a reasonable price at $ 6 and tasty with Tzatziki sauce and vegetables wrapped in pita. I got my food quickly but ended up waiting 5 minutes at the cash register as the cook chatted in his native tongue with some other customers. Good food and worth a stop by if you’re looking for a quick bite. Also, they have hookah.
