Adorei o Toni‘s. Comida boa, sushi fresquinho e ótimo atendimento. Pra quem for acompanhado, sugiro o Toni‘s choice para 2.

This a South Beach GEM. Food is amazing !! Everything we ordered was perfect. The duck breast appetizer, was the best duck I have ever eaten. Sushi is fresh and delicious, every time we go here. Service is Impeccable!!! Prices are good, especially for the quality of the food. One of the best restaurants in south beach. Always consistently great dining !!

3.5 stars for the food but the service was great. We went to this place following the Unilocal advices and did not want to spend too many $$. We ended up with 90 $ for 2 incl. for 1 udon soup, 1 Moriawase for 2(18 sushis + 1 roll) and 1 dessert. The sushis were good, but I guess with the amazing Sushis we are used to in NYC, we were slightly disappointed.

So food was amazing but the owner who’s 4ft tall is sooo rude! She’s only for her regulars who are willing to spend. We witnessed turn down service due to no reservation without any sympathy! Several people at the bar agreed with the way she treats her costumers. This turned us away no matter how good your food is! Horrible!

First of all, excellent sushi… I usually go to the sushi bar, main sushi chef is at the left of the bar, he cuts the sushi and sashimi pieces and usually passes them on to the guy to his right who seems competent enough even though hes(usually) not japanese and was prob trained in the USA… rice has good temperature and fish is always fresh. they have a very good and diverse selection of fish… uni usually from santa barbara… dont see much chu-toro but always has o-toro and daily specials change day to day as they should house salad and ginger dressing is so good, not the usual salad included in many japanese places they def put the work into the ginger dressing udon soup is nice if youre in the mood and tempura is good but could be better(a little heavy but not bad) lava cake for dessert is good service is very good one of my fav sushi places in miami

We had a pretty underwhelming experience here. We ordered fried gyoza, which was overdone. The sushi was amateur at best: the rolls were unmemorable, and they were made/cut inconsistently. A few pieces were served already open and fallen apart. The food didn’t taste bad, and the service was good. But, for what we paid(and based on the reviews here!), we were expecting much more and left feeling disappointed.

So surprised by the amount of positive reviews!!! Have had sushi all over the world in the most upscale and«hole in the wall» type of places… This was the worst!!! Delivery sushi came literally warm! It was absolutely inedible! When I called the restaurant, the manager said«well… If u want cold, come to the restaurant. Delivery will bring it warm!» What kind of a response is that? It’s not the first time I order a sushi delivery! Never again! Bad service, fishy warm raw fish and for what u get, it’s very pricey!!! 5 pieces of eel sashimi was $ 22. Zuma doesn’t charge that much!!!

On a street filled with tourist traps, who knew Toni’s would exist on Washington Ave? Toni’s is busy for a reason. Sushi is fresh. Quality is great. It doesn’t cost $$$$. And I believe most of the sushi chefs are Japanese. Not that it should matter, but I’ve seen people complain about this before. It’s probably not the best, but it’s still good. When I say it’s not the best, I mean in comparison to Nobu, Makoto, NAOE, which is obviously tough competition. But if you don’t want to break the bank, this is the answer to your prayers. Skip Moshi Moshi.(Unless it’s late).

Stopped in last night around 10:00 pm because I heard they were good and open late. Sat at the Sushi Bar and ordered a couple of rolls. The workers were nice and I was happy with the food until the sushi chefs started throwing buckets of water on the ground behind the Sushi Bar and under the Sushi Chefs feet as they continued to prepare food for customers. This went on for about 15 minutes and I assume the buckets contained cleaning supplies in an effort to clean the floors before closing. I asked the chefs if they were closing and they replied not for another hour. This cleanup effort continuing while food was being Preparred and served not only was disgusting but probably violated every food safety handling law and restaurant training procedure ever established. The possible food contamination issues are too numerous to site and they should be shut down and the staff should be retrained before someone gets seriously ill.

Probably the best sushi in Miami. It’s always fresh, not overpriced and the service is on point. The rolls and sashimi are equally delicious and we’ve tried a lot of the hot plates and noodles as well and those always are freshly prepared, tasty and well plated. This place never disappoints.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. I have been going to Toni’s over 10 years — I believe it is the best Japanese restaurant in South Beach. Every single dish I’ve ordered has never disappointed. I used to go to Pubbelly a lot for their Big Eye Tuna sushi, which is raw tuna on crispy rice but I just noticed Toni’s had it in their menu and it is delicious! So I haven’t been back to Pubbelly since. Here are my favorite dishes: –crunchy sushi –salmon tartare –rainbow roll & all their rolls actually –rock shrimp –my bf loves the duck(I don’t eat duck) –Thai donuts –salmon carpaccio The fish is very fresh and the texture of the rice is perfect.

Maybe I came here on an «off» night, but I ate here for the first time and was extremely disappointed. The service was very good but the food was incredibly sub-par. We were a table of four and not one of us enjoyed anything that was placed on the table. I’m not some sort of sushi«snob,» but there is definitely better sushi in SoBe.

Fantastic dining experience. The quality of the sushi(both rolls and sashimi) are excellent and is prefaced by the pride the sushi chefs possess. Cooked and raw fish was prepared perfectly and the service was very attentive yet transparent. Almost like they knew what we needed before we even realized it. Very easy pacing with excellent quality and quantity.

Great quality sushi and attentive staff! A bit pricey about $ 35/pp. shared a 1 person boat and a spicy tuna roll with added scallions. The jalapeño had an added heat on most of the pieces but a few of them had our mouths on fire!!! I would recommend this place for the fish. The flavor is amazing and fresh. It also helped that the staff was warm and welcoming.

Toni’s Sushi Bar is a Miami Beach institution. I’d walked or driven by countless times over the years, always curious, and would find the place packed. Well, now I know the simple answer — Toni’s is crowded because they do sushi right — simple, fresh, and very reasonably priced. Sure, Toni’s offers its fair share of appetizers(including the now-ubiquitous spicy tuna on crispy rice) and rolls, but the simple sashimi and nigiri options are where the place truly shines. Try the chef’s choice sushi & sashimi plate, or if you’re starving(and your dinner companions are too), one of the boats. Trust me, you will not walk away hungry. Service is quick and efficient. I’ve had friendly servers, and servers who are a bit more brusque, so be prepared. Your order will come out as quickly as possible, and Toni’s is quite small, so the tables turn pretty quickly. But the fish is fresh and the prices are incredibly wallet-friendly. Expect to walk out stuffed for around $ 30(a bit more if you imbibe some alcoholic beverages). I wish I’d began my Toni’s Sushi Bar adventures when I first moved to South Beach so many years ago. But I’m sure going to make up for lost time now! If you’re a sushi fan and haven’t made it to Toni’s, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

Wow the fish here is amazing! I didn’t expect to find fish this good this far away from Japan. In terms of quality, I’ve only had fish this good one other time, at Sushi Hanada in Port Hueneme, CA(and I’ve eaten at A LOT of sushi bars). The rolls were simple so as to show off the amazing fish. This place is REALLYGOOD. Go here. Let me say this though: If you like American sushi, with mediocre fish that’s combined in complicated rolls and smothered in sauce, Toni’s is not for you. If you appreciate fine fish prepared simply in the Japanese fashion, then you will enjoy Toni’s. It has just enough creativity to give rolls a little flare while still showcasing the flavor of the fish.

If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Japanese food created with sharp expertise, do not look any further, Toni’s sushi bar is definitely the place to go to! The two of us ordered«Toni’s choice for one» tonight, and there is hardly another word we can use other than AMAZING. FOOD: All the products were super fresh, The sushis were perfectly done, The size of the sashimis was very generous, exactly as it is in Japan. SERVICE: Professional Nothing too fancy, since the entire focus was on the quality of the food. ATMOSPHERE: Casual, yet intimate. We recommend sitting at the sushi bar. It was such a pleasure to watch the chef perform his«art» throughout our evening there. We definitely recommend this place and will love to come back!

Very friendly service. They were able to comfortably tend to my party of 12. I ordered the miso soup and the SoBe roll. Both were excellently executed. The SoBe roll is a good choice for someone who is torn between salmon skin and eel. The mixed seaweed plate was really good as well. I was impressed with the variety. i also noticed their wasabi tasted fresh compared to a lot of places. They are also pretty inventive with their sauces like their curry mayonnaise. The price overall is average. It’s hard to leave a restaurant in Miami without spending over $ 20 for a meal.

Amazing food, ambiance, and service! The Japanese & sushi food is inexpensive yet creative, and the restaurant setting is intimate and fun. There is a variety of dishes, and a nice spin on the typical rolls. They are able to accommodate and make special orders. I really enjoyed the floor seating, it’s different than regular seating because you feel like you’re on a «tatami» Japanese floor, but it is actually a regular seat because they elevate the seating area. Very comfortable for eating!

Sushi rolls were a bit lacking in the amount of ingredients inside the roll compared to the dozens of sushi restaurants we have been to. The food tasted good but nothing special. The service was a bit spotty. Had to ask double for many things that were ordered. Not bad not great.
