This store is filthy, unsanitary, disorganized, products are stored on the floor (which is a violation), employees are extremely rude and unprofessional, when I observe a lady in front of me saying she wanted to return the purchase, the assistant say «no, I already charge it» and said NEXT
I asked for help regarding price of water, the guy didn’t understand English. This is America and yes we speak English!
Food is a mess on the shelves, perishables expired. Where is Food and Safety Division of the city of Miami? They may be due for an unannounced inspection department? Do this store have a license? And fire department inspection?

terrible i bought a box of pasta and there was bugs in them it was just bad dont biy anything here. everything is expired. i know this i live on the building its disrespectful knowing they have old food.

Employees are not nice! I asked one woman where I could find bottled water, after a long pause, she attempted to give me directions. I felt like I was bothering. I went to the register that was in use when I walked to get my items rung up. The woman saw me standing there and attempted to do something else. The only reason she came back was because another man stopped her in her tracks to ring him up for a calling card. She didn’t look at me the entire time. When I asked her the price of an item placed by the register, she grabbed it, rung it in, and pointed to the screen. There’s no excuse for bad service when people come into your establishment to willingly spend there money!

Convenient yes but… rude, attitude, overcrowded isles, overpriced, unpleasant employees. Can afford to do that Now, but wait, the neighborhood is improving, then your only customers left will be the drunks, prostitutes, and homeless. Good luck with that.

Well, while their groceries may not be as cheap as at Publix (or heck, Wal-​Mart, Presidente, or whatever discount store you prefer), their hot meal selections are pretty economical, and hefty. Perhaps they aren’t the healthiest (after all, Cuban food is not exactly healthy, considering all their carb-​laden dishes), but if you’re looking for quick, economical home-​style meals and don’t feel like dealing with restaurant dining, slow waiters, tipping, etc., then this is a good option. You can get 2 styrofoam containers full of rice and beans, yucca, and a chicken quarter in each container for about $ 12. You can easily make 2 meals out of that and have 2 meals for 2 people for $ 12. Not bad at all, especially now that pink slime burgers and fries at McDonald’s are retailing for about $ 7 each and won’t last you for 2 meals (nor are they as tasty as home-​styled Cuban food, in my opinion!).

This place is ok if you’re just buying non perishable items only. I have lived upstairs in Triton tower apartments for 6 years now, and usually confine my purchases to those items. Today I bought some bread which turned out to stale, it had a code on the package but no expiration date that was easily deciphered, tried to return it and of course they refused to take it back. I have seen them have on display for years frozen items that are horribly freezer burned, rotting vegetables on any given day, cheeses that have obviously been left out melted into a lump and re chilled, as well as items past the expiration date, any way buyer beware. I am actually going to contact the health department as they are so rude. I’ve never eaten at their lunch counter as I do not trust their sanitary practices.

Love this place. I come on vacation a lot to Miami beach and always come in here. They have everything you can imagine. If I forget something I know they will have it. Their prices are ver reasonable for Miami beach. Cheaper than other stores in the same area. They have everything like a big supermarket yet they also have souvenirs which I bought yesterday. The have beach stuff, makeup, cute pet stuff, they even have memorabilia from their sports teams. I found marlins and heat items way cheaper than other places. Had to get those. Their food is real good. I have breakfast for 3.50. Full breakfast. Really good. Their lunch is amazing. It’s usually between 5.00 — 7.00 for a complete meal. They do special orders too. Yesterday I had steak Parmesan. I only buy snacks for the hotel bc I always eat here. It’s cheaper than me making things and tastes great. They have fruit salad bowls and deli sand too. You can’t go wrong with triton. The people are real friendly too. They know me already. It’s cool

We were staying in this neighborhood without a car, so this little grocery store seemed a great, convenient option. In hindsight, we would have been better off paying the cab fare to go to the Publix a mile away.
I think they can offer things at such low prices because they are buying older stock. Check dates carefully! I bought sunscreen for my baby that I discovered later had expired 6 months prior. The spaghetti we bought, though dated in the future, was infested with bugs. The produce in the store looked old, as well.
I give it two stars, instead of one, because the hot food they serve at lunch tastes good and it can be a convenient place to buy alcohol and non-​food items like flip flops and beach toys.

This local supermarket is a great one stop shop for anything you may need without the hassle of driving to a bigger supermarket. Prices are fair and sometimes you may even find brand names for less. I love coming here. It is quick, efficient, and convenient. They also have a cafeteria which sells food by the pound and sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed!
