Please look at your receipt when the credit card bill comes. My credit card bill was higher than what the receipt was. I called the number on the receipt(and on line) and all I would get is an automated recording that said«the person you have dialing cannot take your call now, please leave a message». Needless to say that I left a message and no one has called me back. time”

We made the unfortunate decision to eat at Vanilla recently. This was the worst decision that we made in Miami. We ordered the salmon salad — which was a few slices of smoked salmon on a bed of mixed greens, doused in oil. The tuna salad: we ordered this thinking that it should be a delicious fresh sliced tuna on some tasty greens. This ended up being canned tuna with mayo on spinach, also with an excessive amount of oil. The sandwiches are served on a huge white hoagie roll with a small amount of food between the rolls(not a good cross section). And the side salad with those sandwiches is actually two slices of a green pepper. Each plate came out at least 5 minutes apart. This was very frustrating with a group of 8. To add insult to injury — before all of our food made it to the table the staff was insistent on getting a picture of us for their Facebook page. Very poor form! At the end of the meal we went through a half hour process of getting checks. We had to remind them what each of us ordered and actually had to do the math ourselves to finally get a check. If you want a pleasant dining experience with good food and good service stay away from Vanilla.

I can’t believe it took two hours to make a f*cking sandwich. Regret, is the word that comes to mind. Poor slow service, bland food.

One of the best cannoli I have ever tasted. The owners moved here from Rome and really do a great job. The coconut sorbet was very tasty also. Great service and very kind staff!
