We waited almost an hour, but the manager brought us champagne while we waited and was thankful for our patience so we were far from minding the wait. Plus you get to watch the pasta dude in the window and I could watch that all day(esp while I’m sipping free champagne:)) Onto the most important part– the food. So. Freaking. Good. One of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had and def the best I’ve had in Miami. We had the caesar salad to start– the taste was spot on. Sometimes restaurants make caesar salad too salty or too tart. This was perfect, even had a little crumbled bacon. Mmm. We had the pasta bolognese and the risotto with lobster bisque shrimp and zucchini. It was out of this world. My only regret was that I didn’t have enough room to eat another round of everything. I cannot wait to go back when I’m back in Miami.

This is one of the best pasta joints I have experienced, no question, its SUPERB! I was surprised to find food this thoughtful and delicious in South Beach. Do not hesitate, enjoy the glory of this superior place. Update– Round Two Pane & Vino is really off the chart delicious. I have been to Tuscany, Rome, NY and many other city’s with delish Italian restaurants, this is my favorite. If your ever in Miami Beach, go for it.

Very good! Pasta was fresh and you could certainly tell! Wait staff was helpful and courteous. We got there a bit early for our reservation but we will seated promptly. Dessert was excellent. I would recommend!

Best italian in Miami! Our 2 pasta dishes were so good and make sure to save room for desert! Lamb ragu and bollognese hit the mark, can’t say which one was the winner as both were so good. Service is spot on and they really try to make your meal a positive experience. Tiramisu was like none I ever had prior and it’s worth getting! Every part of it was fresh and so yummy. Bread was okay not exceptional but not bad.

I ate here recently and had a great experience. Guide to a great meal: The bread was great. Order the salmon for your appetizer. It was the best salmon I have ever tasted. I also ordered the eggplant parm(which was good too) but the salmon was just better.(I usually like eggplant parm more and I am not a huge fan of fish so me saying this is worth a lot) Order the Gnocchi. It melts in your mouth, it was a magical experience. I also tried the lasagna. It was ok, I probably wouldn’t get it again. The gnocchi was the best. Get those two with and some wine and you’re golden. Staff was friendly and attentive. Make sure to make a reservation. Parties 6 or less seem to fit comfortably.

Home style, freshly made Italian cuisine. One of the chefs makes fresh pasta and ravioli right in the front window. The friturra mista was excellent and the pasta was really tasty. While we did not have room for desert, they looked very nice. The only downside was they seemed to have forgotten our appetizers as they took an hour to come out and many other tables received theirs much faster. Overall I’d recommend this place.

Came here alone although I had reservations for 3. They were kind enough to still sit me. I got the fried calamari and shrimp app along with the Pasta Bolognese. The meal starts with warm, buttery, crispy fragrant rosemary infused bread. This may have been my favorite restaurant bread I’ve ever had. Think like Red Lobster cheese biscuits but with authentic ingredients. The crumb was incredible doughy and just filled the palate with buttery rosemary joy. The crust was perfectly crispy and had it’s own nice absorption of the rosemary flavor. So good. The app was great. The portion was a lot. The calamari were nicely seasoned and cooked to tender. The shrimp popped on the bite with a thalassic juiciness. The Fettuccine Bolognese was incredible. The pasta itself is freshly made. So its chewy, fresh, and knocks the dried stuff out of the water. Because it’s fresh it so nicely soaked up the sauce. This sauce was an outstanding rendition of Bolognese. It combined the unctuous oiliness of ground meats with the fresh acidic cut of tomatoes. It was meaty perfection. Together with the pasta this dish was incredible. Pane e Vino is clearly a standout in the low-fine dining scene in South Beach. I definitely would tell all my friends to check it out.

The food here is delicious. We started with the octopus carpaccio which was both a unique presentation, and well executed. Following this we devoured some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Both the gnocchi and risotto were great dishes. Make sure to try the deconstructed tiramisu for dessert. Although, I’m not normally a fan of tiramisu I have to say that the version at Pane & Vino is great and well executed. A few nitpicks: * The shrimp & black gnocchi dish was a great thought, but the shrimp were way too salty. Next time I would try another version. * My second time having the tiramisu the mascarpone cream was overcooked(kind of curdled, and gritty), and resembled more of a pudding as opposed to the first time when it was smooth and creamy. Tips: * Pane & Vino offer a corkage fee of $ 25 for those of you with select bottles of wine. * The place is somewhat small, and in an high traffic area so the wait could be a bit long. Call to get a reservation, or just walk and see the sights… either way it’s worth the wait.

I didn’t keep the time of how long we waited but it was about an hour and a half. It is worth the wait but I highly recommend making reservations. While we waited, we started with the valpolicella Ripasso red wine from Italy. It is a very smooth red wine with a very fruity taste. It was so good we ordered a second bottle. This place was beyond packed in a small space. We had fun waiting outside talking to other people and watching the pasta being made. The hostess and managers really try to make the wait shorter but it is hard when you’re a group of 5 or more. This is a great spot for couples. My parents both ordered the caesar salad and highly recommend it. For me personally, it was a little too creamy and I wanted more zest. If they added some lemon juice, it would be perfect. Now for the pasta, it was incredible. My dad and boyfriend ordered the special. Pasta with steak. I ordered the buttered pasta with ricotta cheese. My mom’s was the best. She ordered the spaghetti. It is a must order. They make it at the table! They bring out the giant cheese wheel and scrape it, pour the sauce, and then the pasta to mix it all together. It was the best spaghetti we’ve ever had. Finally, save room for dessert! Their tiramisu is a must. It is mouth watering. They also make it at the table for you and I’ve never had it like that before. It is perfect. Oh one more thing, they sell a panettone sweet bread dessert imported from italy. We brought it home and it was all gone in a couple of days. It is light, fluffy, and just enough sweetness.

Pane & Vino! I cannot remember the name of the dishes I ordered because everything was just divine! I luv this city because it is the lifestyle I left behind on a tiny island that I miss so much. The fellah in the window making fresh pastas is so fun too watch from outside. It’s enticing! It will make you want to satisfy your curiosity by stepping inside to taste his creations. Pane&Vino is a divine little restaurant on Miami Beach. Some friends recommended it highly and boy they were so right. It’s very small and you feel like you’re in the heart of Italy. The service is impeccable and so is the food I had salmon and my company had a seafood pasta. for desert we had tiramisu. They don’t have a full bar but have a grand wine selection. I consider this to be a treasure of a find. I can’t wait for my next visit. They make their own pasta and do so in the window for all to see. A visit to the ladies room is a must and another charming experience! .

Walking passed the restaurant you may notice a chef standing on the other side of the glass — making the pasta by hand! Right there! For all to see and only the wise to taste. The place is small but the charm is overwhelming. Decorated very shabby chic romantic: think wood, lace, dried lavender florals — it’s very cute and cozy. Maybe a little too cozy… tables are kind of tight inside, but once you’re sitting you don’t really mind and the servers don’t make their squeezing through very obvious. Even the bathroom is worth mentioning because it makes you feel at home! It has wallpaper with picture frames of classic Italian family looking folk and a clothes rack with actual clothing items hanging, very thoughtful! We started with a bruschetta… yum. The bread on its own was delicious, crispy but still soft, and they used cherry tomatoes that would burst at the bite! Perfect amount of garlic and olive oil — no complaints. I then ordered Fiocchetti al Pere with parmesan cream. This pasta dish has become my go to, I’m a huge fan of sweet and salty and creamy and they nailed it. Soyka still takes the prize for best Fiocchetti al Pere but Pane e Vino is a very close second. Don’t quite recall what my boyfriend ordered but he didn’t talk much and closed his eyes every bite so i think he really enjoyed himself haha. Paired with wine, dinner was amazing. Definitely looking forward to eating here again!

I had high expectations for this place given the ratings but was not impressed. My pasta was served to me cold. The Lemon chicken dish was boiled and rubbery. The red wine I ordered was chilled… Everything just seemed to be off. Also, in the shrimp and calamari appetizer — the shrimp have shells so you have to pull that off which pulls off the breading and defeats the purpose. Dessert was better than dinner and I won’t go back.

My boyfriend and I dined here on our final night in Miami following a recommendation by Will S. We are so, so happy to have followed this recommendation – it was one of the best meals of our trip! I called the a day or so before to make a reservation and they were very open with availability, which came as quite a shock considering the size of the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a major street shut down in front of our hotel that caused traffic to back up all around us. We ended up being 30 minutes late for our reservation, and the restaurant was packed, so they gave away our reservation. Thankfully, the gentleman at the front promised to pull something together for us in 10 minutes and we only waited a short while before being seated. We decided to order a bottle of white wine for our meal: Sauvignon Blanc Albachiara 2014(Chile). This wine choice was light, fruity, and refreshing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! For our meal, we decided to skip an appetizer and instead order two mains and two desserts. I love an authentic panna cotta so I couldn’t pass on that, and after reading all the reviews of their fantastic Tiramisu, I knew I had to try it as well! We ordered the following: Tagliatelle alla Bolognese: Handmade fettuccini served with a traditional Bolognese sauce. Tortellini di Nonna Maria: Homemade Tortellini stuffed with Parma ham, Pork loin, Italian Mortadella and Parmesan cheese, served with butter and Sage sauce. Tiramisu: Fresh Mascarpone cream with Italian cookies chocolate power and hot espresso coffee. Panna Cotta alla Menta: A fresh and classic Mint Pannacotta with chocolate sauce. Here’s what I love about this place: as we waited for our table, we stood outside and in the window, the pasta chef expertly rolls, folds, and sections the pasta piece by piece with such precision and care. Once a portion is finished, he weighs and then carries the pasta to the kitchen and I assume it’s immediately cooked. The pasta he was making during our wait was tagliatelle, so I was particularly swayed to order a like dish. My meal was incredible! The pasta was light and cooked perfectly, the portion was just right, and the sauce was well seasoned and had a good portion of meat. I am totally in love with this dish and wish I could have it again and again. I also tried my boyfriend’s Tortellini di Nonna Maria, and that was delectable as well. The tortellini was again very fresh and the flavors mixed well together without being too heavly. I loved both desserts. The panna cotta is light with mint undertones – very delectable. The tiramisu is made table side and also very delicious, although it is a bit strong for the novice coffee drinker. Service here is FANTASTIC! Everyone is incredibly friendly, funny, and amicable. Our server even cracked jokes with us towards the end of the meal. The ambiance here is also perfect for a date night – it’s super romantic! I noticed the tables around us received complimentary shots and desserts, another plus for their service, and although we didn’t receive any complimentary treats, I’m still happy with the meal and loved the service. This will be one of the top places I return to on my next trip to Miami!

My girlfriends and I came here a while back during our trip to Miami. We were here with our bachelorette and it was our first night in Miami. We walked around the beach area to explore and soak in all of Miami’s greatness. We are girls who love to eat. As a matter of fact, we’ve stated countless times that, «if you don’t like food, you can’t be our friend». Eating and lots of it, is what we do best. We came across Pane & Vino, as we quickly exited it’s neighboring Sushi restaurant that we had also randomly stumbled upon. I was a little irked at the choice of an Italian restaurant as they often specialize in the diet untouchables — pasta, cheese, bread and delicious desserts. We start with delicious, freshly made, warm bread. I never waste calories on bad bread! When it comes to ordering, I want the sea bass and they tell me that they are all sold out. Of course I was a brat about it because I had prepared my palette for a delicious, juicy, and tender piece of sea bass — my favorite type of fish. He insisted on the salmon and I replied with a rather feisty remark, «I’m not ordering the salmon. I never order it. Everyone knows that the salmon is always dry.» He assured me that his fish is NEVER dry. I reluctantly order it as I still wanted to eat a healthy meal. Our plates come out and there lies a beautifully plated Zucchini crusted salmon with mixed greens. I examine it. It looked so appetizing, but of course I was skeptical. One bite and I literally ate my words. It was the BEST salmon I have ever tasted(well, cooked salmon). It was so juicy and prepared PERFECTLY. The zucchini crust complimented the fish well. Who would have thought? Paired with the mixed greens and lemon dressing, absolute perfection! Of course I couldn’t help myself and I try my girlfriend’s risotto and pastas. Here, they make all their pastas by hand and you can definitely notice a difference. All the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We ended our meal with a complimentary Tiramisu dessert which was prepared right in front of our eyes at our table. This was also the BEST tiramisu I have ever eaten. My girlfriend’s favorite dessert is tiramisu and she also concluded that it was also the best she has ever eaten! The food is incredibly delicious and the service was outstanding. By far, this was the best restaurant we had eaten at during our whole Miami trip. This is coming from girls who are a bunch of foodies and who did A LOT of eating on the trip! I wish they were in California. If I am ever in Miami again, I will definitely be paying them a visit!

Very intimate Italian restaurant Pasta is made in the window daily. I’ve Had the fresh burratina– with prosciutto and arugula for appetizer Then the ricotta cappelletti with shaved black truffle Delicious My last visit I had the pappardelle with lamb Ragu. All pasta items cooked to al dente perfection. This time I got the decomstructed tiramisu They construct it at the table with fresh brewed Italian espresso It was DIVINE. Good varied wine list and impeccable service Definitely a great date place or for small groups or, in my case, lone foodies who don’t like sharing lol

Such an adorable little spot for dinner. The pasta chef is hand making pasta in the window which is a great feature. The wait staff is very nice and very attentive. The bruschetta was delicious and the eggplant appetizer was to die for. The pappardelle with lamb ragu was perfect. The tiramisu is made right at your table and it’s crazy good… I’d get it even if you’re full. I highly recommend this place as a date spot or for a cozy dinner.

This is one of those perfect date night restaurants that despite being on Española Way and Washington Ave, you feel worlds away! Start off with the cozy interior with dim lights and foodie phrases, a wall-length wine cooler and an in-person preparation of the fresh pastas. You’re greeted by a friendly host /manager, and even greeted by a random wine glass(true story!) The music is down tempo EDM, including Kaskade. The space is real clean, and the staff super friendly, not rushing you with the bill at the end. Yes, the vibe is perfect. Not that the food slacks either. As I mentioned before, the pasta is house made so it is very much worth the premium. Though I missed the preparation since I was with someone who’s not a Unilocaler yet, we noticed after the fact they cook the noodles over a cheese ball. Add a very hearty ragout bolognese, or pear filled ravioli with a pepper sprinkle and you have a very well prepared Italian dinner. I would have gone for coffee and the Tiramisu I saw being made at another table(also made fresh, see) but the cannoli we shared was crunchy, sweet and with the added garnish of dried fruits.

This might have been one of the best meals in South Beach that I had. Bar far one of the better Italian meals I’ve ever experienced. What an amazing small authentic restaurant. Being able to watch them make the pasta is such a great experience. One that you will remember once you eat the pasta and taste all of its perfection. My gf had the Gnocchi Sorrentina which was to die for. The Gnocchi was so delicate and soft. So light and fluffy. Her dish was phenomenal. I ended up getting the Tortellini di Nonna Maria which was perfect as well. So flavorful and the pasta was once again executed so well. Please do not walk past this restaurant without taking a look at them preparing pasta through the window or without coming in and having an authentic meal. You won’t regret it! Btw– the service was good as well.

Fantastic experience! –freshly made pasta –nice atmosphere/cute décor –ok service –delicious tiramisu –good wine(per those who drank the white). We were a party of 8. Called ahead of time, good thing we did, as it filled up quickly after we arrived, despite tonight being a Wednesday(around 8pm). Many appetizers were ordered, we loved them all! I ordered the risotto(clams, shrimp, etc) it was fantastic! My daughter shared food with cousin(pasta with red sauce and meat), they both enjoyed it). Not one person in our party was dissatisfied. Both red/white wine were ordered. The Malbec was preferred, though too strong for my taste. For dessert, I strongly recommend the tiramisu. They make it on the spot. Fresh and delish! Needs improvement: –The bread served(comp) was nothing special — did not taste fresh – , don’t get full on that! Reserve space for the amazing food and dessert. –we requested check to be decided, it was not. –played took a while to be cleared, and check to a while to arrive. Note: if you have small children, know that there is not a kids menu. Also, there is a tight space between tables, not a lot of room for stroller to get though. Doable, though. —-tip was not included in bill — —
