Very friendly and supportive of the locals. Delicious, fresh Italian food. The owner is a chef and he’s very nice. Delicious pastas and sandwiches. Definitely one of my favorites in Miami Beach.

Can’t speak for their food but their service is non-existent. Husband and I sat here for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by a waiter. We got up and left.(There were maybe 15 people in there and most had already been given their food so I have no idea what the issue was)

Ordered delivery and decided to try out the vegetarian sandwich options. I was craving a hearty veggie sub and fries. Unfortunately what I received was soggy, cold fries and a sandwich with an OK flavor profile. Two sandwiches and fries cost over $ 40 for delivery so no cheap eat either. Overall super meh. Maybe just didn’t order what they’re known for but I wouldn’t seek it out again. Save your money and go somewhere else. I can’t speak on the actual café but the delivery girl was at least pleasant.

Cool place to have a nice meal, it stays up late, the owner is always around and he’s so nice. I recommend to try the Chocolate Salami for dessert!

I’m crazy about the four cheese sauce! I paired it with gnocchi and it was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. The ambience could still use a little work but overall very good. Edit: I originally gave this place 4 stars however after paying, I was disappointed in their deception. The waitress said one of the dishes came with a side but proceeded to charge for the side in the bill. She also did not disclose that she included the tip in the bill but displayed a screen for an added tip on top of the other one even though we were just a party of 4. Lastly, we were enticed by the deal of 25% off for the happy hour to go to this restaurant but when it came time to pay the bill they only gave us a 15% discount(not including the tip obviously).

This place is simply fantastic, brought my mother here for a Mother’s Day breakfast and have absolutely no complains! 5 stars just isn’t enough, amazing customer service, delicious food and great ambiance. Will definitely recommend to anyone in south beach.

Just came in for a drink and a small app. Great service we felt like it didn’t matter that we didn’t have a huge check as the staff still checked on us multiple times. We had the burrata aka caprese and it was so good. The cheese was probably one of the creamiest that I have ever had great job!

Great service, perfectly cooked pasta and inexpensive. Also nice that it’s a big space that does not feel claustrophobic, like many of the restaurants on Espinosa way. Recommended! And kid friendly too.

The best local Italian. Café Di Mauro is a great local spot in South Beach. The portions are generous and always delicious. My boyfriend and I hit this place up at least once a month. The fettuccine carbonara is hands down some of the best carbonara I’ve ever had. They’ve recently expanded and now have the entire space of their venue and have a full service sit down restaurant. The service was prompt and polite. A great spot for good hearth Italian food in Miami Beach.

Amazing food and service! The hostess and servers were very courteous and made us feel at home. We had the prosciutto and mozzarella platter, mushroom pasta(forgetting the exact name), as well as the five cheese pizza. Delish!

So… On vacation and decided to check this place out. It’s an Italian restaurant so what would one thing to try be? Any guesses… Pizza! You guessed it. Well… I asked for pizza at 1:10 and she told me I couldn’t get it because they forgot to «turn on the oven»… What in the hell? She said(Elena) «sorry, come back another day.» There was no «let me take a look and see» just said no. I asked when do they serve pizza, and she said«at 12, but we forgot to turn on the stove» I’m done with this place. The presidentes saved them. Service is horrible.

Great, healthy breakfast choice in walking distance from most hotels! I ordered an egg white, tomato and avocado scramble which was served with a multigrain baguette! Easy going and delicious in South Beach! And the décor is fun… books arranged by color!

I give it two stars because of the tiramisù. It is one of my favorite deserts and their version was quite dissapointing, and very far away from the italian version(lived there and tried many, so I know). I didn’t had anything else. 18% tip included just for a dessert… In a place like that… Really??? The place doesn’t have much ambient, and its usually empty… Service was just ok.

The pictures are very old, this place looks different now. It no longer is an Internet café(and sadly doesn’t have a pool table) anymore. BUT, the food is much better! I’ve spent the better half of 2015 traveling through Italy, and these guys definitely hold true to the Italian style food(and quality)! The Ceffé di Mauro salad is awesome, as well as the burger. Not huge but very good quality ingredients and delicious. And for the price, you can’t beat it! Especially for Miami standards. The pizza is also really great! Can’t got wrong. I also like the smoked salmon salad as well as the fresh squeezed carrot/orange juice. The service is also great! Most of the workers are Italian and extremely friendly and courteous.

The sandwiches we ordered were mediocre at best, and quite meager. Our server was very sweet and helpful. After finishing our sandwiches, My boyfriend was still hungry and said we should have gone to five guys. And he’s 100% Italian. When we went to the counter to pay, the most foul, unappetizing, distinct smell of sewage was coming out of the kitchen. When we mentioned it to the cashier woman, she said«that’s Miami beach». Sorry sweetie, that’s your kitchen not your. Seriously though, if your restaurant smells of human excrement, you’re doing it wrong. Do better.

Ordered this place late night. Ordered the margarita pizza and added pepperoni. Simply the most disgusting pizza I have seen in quite some time. Arrived on time, but cold and appeared as if it had been left out as a cheese pizza for hours. The size was smaller than expected. The pizza didn’t even contain the ingredients on a margarita pizza. No basil. Honestly pathetic!

NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. I told myself I would never write a bad review, but then I had lunch here a few days ago and that changed all that. I want to first say the positives of this café: –Internet –24 hour Okay. That is pretty much it. First off, this is the second time I eat here, the first time I had breakfast which was not so bad but I noticed the side salad was a little rotted. I came here again for lunch this week and not only did my sandwich have pieces of aluminium foil on the bread, but the side salad was completed rotted. It made me sick, are you going to pay my clinic bill? The only 2 pieces that I ate, which I thought were not rotted, were contaminated, boy was I wrong about choosing to eat because… god forbid I was hungry. On top of that I WASCHARGED for this tiny, rotted side salad $ 3.00 which was not told until I went to pay. I told the waitress this and you can clearly see the food left on the plate. She really did not care. I guess I also did not notice their Starbucks pricing as I was charged $ 4.00 for a «large»(which was more like a small) «fresh» orange juice that tasted like tang mixed with lemonade! The olive oil canister on the table had a dead fruit fly hanging on it. oh god. & the smell of that balsamic vinegar next to it made me feel like I was a homeless man drinking someone’s urine. Awful service. My waitress came by and said«Everything Good?» and left before I could even say«Yeah uh. okay». When I go to pay out my bill is $ 20.00 for a sandwich, miserable«side salad» and orange juice. Never again. If I wanted to feel like I needed to take 10 baths after having lunch I would eat here again. Ambiance is terrible, tables are not grounded and falling apart and a big hole in the wall where the sign screams RENOVATIONNEEDEDASAP.

Lazy cheapskates. Slow and small servings. Took over an hour to get delivery when it was 3am Sunday night and they shouldn’t be busy. When finally got food, it was a total joke. The grilled eggplant dish was no larger than my palm, and the lettuce in their salad barely covered the bottom of the cheap styrofoam containers(which had leaked everywhere). Oh and I ordered meatball marinara and paid for extra meatballs — when I got it, there were 4 small meatballs the circumference of a quarter! I assume their regular serving size of meatballs is just 2 the size of a quarter. Uploading photos.
