Tint World

I went to this shop to have a hands-​free Bluetooth installed. I asked them if they could put the controller in place where it cannot be easily seen. The one in-​charge said it could be installed on the ashtray. That sounded like a good idea.
I thought they would have no problems with it, but they ended up having difficulties. They said it could be done in an hour, but two hours have passed and they were still not able to finish it. Another unfortunate thing is that they charged me more than their original quote.
It seems like this shop likes to break promises. So instead of giving them good ratings, I give them a bad one.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Would not recommend. I brought a brand new car in and they scratched the entire inside of dashboard with some scraper object. I now have a 3 foot long scratch on the top of the dash board. When pointed out to the manager they said they would repair it. I have called easily 10 times (franchise and corporate) and no response. It is sad… they did not even offer me a free tint. Majorly disappointed in Tint World.

I recently came here to have tints put on my brand new Lexus IS250. Biggest mistake of my young car’s life.
First and foremost, the tinting itself is mediocre at best, and is priced marginally higher than local competitors, but I figured why not go with a national chain?
WRONG! I was told it would take up to 2 hours for the job to be done. It took nearly 5 hours. I understand if you’re busy, or if you’re hungry, or if you’re lazy. But come on. An additional 3 hours is just laughable. Also, after I got my car back, I decided to inspect the workmanship of the tints. What I noticed was that there was what appeared to be glue (from the tints, I imagine) dripping all along the car, and there were MULTIPLE scratches along my car doors. On a brand new car in mint condition, they stick out like a sore thumb and are completely UNACCEPTABLE.
I plan on calling them back as soon as they open tomorrow and will write a follow-​up if necessary. But be warned! Unless you like waiting excessively or having your car scratched up, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
