I was here for a funeral repast. Since my family was vegetarian, I spoke with the host, who totally accomadated us. The food was so, so.

I pass this place every day going into my office and always wanted to try. After almost a year, I finally did. Wish I would’ve tried sooner! We came in on a Thursday evening so not crowded at first, yet great selection of all the Haitian staples. Everything seemed hot, fresh, and plentiful. Best part: it’s all actually very good! Definitely better than other nearby Haitian spots(my husband is Haitian from North Miami and also gives it a huge stamp of approval!) It’s very casual, modest, family-run neighborhood business but as far as the food goes, it’s the real deal. Give it a try!

Nice, polite service. Buffet has several Haitian food items. Nothing was exceptional. All was standard but fair price. I did not see any dessert on buffet but they do have fresh salad and fruit.

I ate here once when I was in the neighborhood, and I would go back. I really enjoyed the cow foot stew, it was hot, savory, flavorful, and the meat fell off the bone, really excellent. I loved the mayi moulen(polenta), it was great comfort food. The rice & beans and the plantains were also delicious. The griot was tough, though, didn’t care for it much. Maybe it was a bad day. This is an all-you-can-eat buffet. You pay when you first come in. A server refills your drink for you(the sweet tea was standard but good). There’s also a salad/fruit bar. This is a very simple, modest place, don’t expect anything fancy. Excellent value for the price.

We had dinner there last night. The food was very good. I don’t think ever been to any other Haitian restaurant that that serves a buffet. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend that you go and eat there. These folks have been serving the community since 1984, that speaks volumes especially in an industry where 80% of the competition fails within the first two years. I also recommend you come back here and spread the word about Tony’s.

Good food, however not the best creole food i have had. I eat haitian food 3 – 4 times a week and know of 4 other good haitian restaurants in the area i prefer. It is buffet style and prices are good. They have a good variety of griot, taso, chicken… all the staples. Right after i ate they brought out more griot and taso which looked fresher and much better, so safe to say it probably was better than i experienced and must have gotten the bottom of the pile. Still, not bad.
